1. About this Manual 1.1 Scope The OXYGEN™ Installation Manual describes how to install an ATRONIC OXYGEN™ gaming machine eaturing ATRONIC’s sensys EP™ electronic platorm. It describes how to mount the machine to a base and relevant procedures to be carried out beore the machine can be put into operation. Further it contains important saety instructions, technical data and cabinet drawings. Note: This document contains only procedural guideline or the OXYGEN™ cabinet. Each regulatory jurisdiction and gaming site have their own internal controls, policies and procedures that must be ollowed when accessing machines and setting conguration options. You are responsible or understanding and abiding by the rules that apply in your environment.
1.2 Target Audience Technical Personnel We address qualied technical personnel, who are involved in installation, setup and conguration o ATRONIC gaming machines. With this user group we assume that they are basically amiliar with gaming machines and casino related terminology. Please read this document and the contained saety instructions careully beore you start machine installation. Floor Personnel Further we address oor personnel that is allowed to open the machine‘s main door or maintenance purposes. Please read the contained saety instructions beore you open the main door.
1.3 Included Sotware Releases The installation procedures described in this manual do not relate to a certain sotware version.

2. Saety Instructions Observe this safety instructions, to avoid per sonal injury or a possible damage to hardware, software, or data.
As this machine has to be opened or maintenance, rell and emptying, operators have to make sure the involved personnel takes note o this saety instructions.
2.1 Saety Instructions - Electrical Warning! Risk o Electric Shock Always switch of the machine and unplug the power cable beore servicing high voltage components. Be sure to ground this machine to prevent a current leak. ATRONIC makes no warranty as to the accidents (including ailures) caused by improper grounding. Do not expose the power cable to mechanical load such as contusion or tension. Damaged power cables can lead to re or shortcuts. Use the specied uses only. I the specied uses easily blow out, please consult ATRONIC Technical Services. Always switch of the machine beore removing or servicing electronic components and beore connecting/disconnecting a connector. Check that all connectors are seated correctly. False connections can cause irreparable damage, not covered by warranty. Always take precautions against electrostatic discharges (ESD) when handling circuit boards. Wear a grounded wrist strap and avoid placing circuit boards on static generating suraces as carpet or upholstered chairs.

2.2 Saety Instructions - Mechanical Warning! Tip Hazard! To avoid personal injury, the OXYGEN cabinet must be securely attached to the base, and the base must be securely attached to the oor or wall. See also section 5.2 Installation / Machine Mounting. Do not install the machine on unstable oor. The machine is heavy. Always use appropriate equipment or transportation and installation. Caution! Moving Parts Make sure to disable the hopper, when working on it.
2.3 Saety Instructions - Other Only qualied personnel can assemble, install, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot the machine. Use only original ATRONIC parts or replacement. Do not use chemical duster, thinner, benzine, alcohol, or synthetic detergent or cleaning the machine. They can damage the surace o the machine. Please reer to relevant ATRONIC service manuals or urther instructions on setup, operation and maintenance.
2.4 Environmental Adhere to the environmental specications stated in section 3. Technical Data (next page). Do not install this machine outdoors, or in areas with large variation in temperature or excessive dust pollution. The machine may only be installed or operated in dry conditions. The machine must not be cleaned using a high pressure cleaner or a vapor jet and must not be installed or operated in areas where high pressure cleaners or vapor jets are used. I the machine was exposed to low temperatures, do not power on the machine until it has acclimatized to ambient temperature and no condensing is present. OXYGEN™ - Installation Manual

3.5 Ergonomics The OXYGEN™ cabinet is designed to provide a maximum o playing comort. For an optimal seating and playing comort, the diference between the base height and the seating height should be approximately 150 mm. Based on a 1,75 m tall player this results in •

5. Machine Installation This section should only be carried out by qualifed service personnel. Review the list below and perorm as needed. Explanations are located on the ollowing pages and in additional manuals. Inspect machines or transport damage. Any transport damage should be noted and witnessed by the reight orwarder. The manuacturer accepts no responsibility or transport damage.
Note: Depending on machine conguration or jurisdictional requirements, additional tasks may have to be carried out beore the machine can be put into operation (e.g. acceptance inspection, logic box sealing, etc.).
Check machines or the correct hardware conguration. Prepare the stand by drilling the mounting holes, cable drop and coin drop (i necessary). Mount the machine to the base. Install top light or topper Replace shipping locks with casino specic locks. Prepare the coin acceptor and the hopper. Check that cables and connectors are seated correctly. Check that the game cards are seated correctly. Install operator specic components Connect to the oor network (i applicable) Apply power to the machine. Load paper into the printer (i available). Execute basic machine setup, i necessary (RAM Clear, Initial Setup and Jackpot Conguration). Congure game (Service Menu / Settings). Test bill and coin handling (Service Menu / Diagnostics).

5.1 Inspect the Machines (a) Unpack the machines and inspect them or transport damage. Any transport damage should be noted and witnessed by the reight orwarder. The manuacturer accepts no responsibility or transport damage. (b) Check the machines or the correct hardware conguration (bill acceptor, coin acceptor, hopper, and printer type)

5.2 Machine Mounting Warning! Tip Hazard! To avoid personal injury, the OXYGEN™ cabinet must be securely attached to the base using all our mounting bolts, and the base must be securely attached to the foor or wall. 1. Obtain a suitable stand upon which to install the OXYGEN™. The drill pattern and the recommended minimum clearance to the adjacent machines are provided in section 3.4 Technical Data / Footprint/Drill Pattern.

2. Drill our mounting holes and a cable hole in the top o the base. I the machine will be using a coin drop bucket inside the stand, then a coin drop hole must also be cut.

3. Place the machine on the base. Caution! The machine is heavy. Use a lit truck to transport and lit the machine. Never use the arm rest to lit the machine! I no lit truck is available, use the recessed grip at the lower side o the coin bowl to lit the machine. Do not use the arm rest to lit or carry the machine.

4. Place the machine so that the holes on the bottom o the machine are aligned with the holes on the base. You have to remove the hopper (i installed) and the coin drop plastic rame to get access to the mounting holes. Warning! Hand or Head Injury! The main door can slam closed, when the machine is moved jerkily.
5. Insert all our mounting bolts through the bottom o the machine. Place a washer and nut on each o the our bolts inside the base and tighten them. Ensure that no wires are trapped when the bolts are tightened. Ensure that the machine is securely attached to the base, and that the base is securely attached to the oor or wall. 6. Install the hopper and the coin drop rame, i previously removed.

5.3 Install Top Light or Topper To install the top light or the topper 1. Open the main door and press the top box release upwards to open the top box door.

2. Unasten, unplug and remove the upper monitor. Note: When removing the monitor, make sure to lay it down with the ront side acing upwards, to avoid scratches in the monitor surace.
3. (a) Mount the top light and connect the top light signal and the top light earthing cable. (b) Mount the topper and connect the topper signal and the topper earthing cable.
4. Re-install the upper monitor, asten it with our srews and close the top box.

I not ordered otherwise, ATRONIC machines are equipped with shipping locks or easy start-up. These locks have to be replaced by casino specic locks to provide appropriate security. 5.5 Prepare Coin Acceptor (MC-62) •
Slide holder or reerence coin rightwards, remove (plastic) transport chip and replace it with appropriate reerence coin.

Check the reerence coin or proper (parallel) seating.

5.6 Check Cables and Connectors Check that all connectors are seated correctly, prior to initial power up. Important: False or loose connections can cause irreparable damage, not covered by warranty.
5.7 Check Game Cards Make sure that the Platorm Smart Card (1), the Game Smart Card (2) and the Game CF Card (3) are seated correctly, prior to initial power up. The cards may loose connection during transportation.

5.8 Install Operator Specifc Components Install the operator specic components such as SMIB (Slot Machine Interace Board), ber optics board, etc., and player tracking components (i applicable). The OXYGEN™ cabinet provides a mounting bracket to install additional components (g. A).

Player tracking components are installed on customized player tracking brackets (g. B). These brackets are usually supplied by your player tracking components manuacturer. Please reer to the relevant mounting instructions that came with the bracket and the player tracking components.

5.9 Connect to Floor Network 5.9.1 CRYSTAL.net™ A OXYGEN™ machine congured or CRYSTAL.net™ communications will have a CRYSTAL Module (CMOD) installed. Connect the CMODs Ethernet port 1 to the CRYSTAL Base Socket (CBSO) which is usually installed in the machine base. See ATRONIC SYSTEMS / CRYSTAL.net™ Technical Manual or details.
5.9.2 CRYSTAL WEB™ A OXYGEN™ machine congured or CRYSTAL WEB™ communications will have a Machine Data Controller (MDC) and a Earth Print (EP) installed. Connect the Earth Print to the Base Socket (BSO) which is usually installed in the machine base. See ATRONIC SYSTEMS / CRYSTAL WEB™ Technical Manual or details.
5.9.3 Non ATRONIC SMIBs Operator specic Slot Machine Interace Boards (SMIB) have to be connected to the Peripheral Board. The Peripheral Board provides three RS232 serial ports to communicate with the SMIB. The three serial ports correspond to SAS channels 1, 2 and 3. The connector or SAS channel 1 (accounting channel) also incorporates the door contacts and is thereore split into two connectors. The connectors or SAS channels 2 and 3 provide serial communication only.

6. Bringing into Service 6.1 Initial Power-up Caution: I the machine was exposed to low temperatures, do not power on the machine until it has acclimatized to ambient temperature and no condensation is present. 1. Make sure that the power cable has not been damaged during transport. 2. a) Route the power cable through the cable drop hole in the bottom plate o the machine into the machine base. b) I you want to use the cable access hole at the back o the cabinet, rst remove the hopper to get access to the cable access cover. Then remove the ully closed cover and replace it by a cover with cable recesses. 3. Make sure that the power outlet is grounded, in good condition and not showing any signs o overheating or damage. Then connect the power cable to the power outlet. 4. With the main door open, turn the power switch to the “ON” position. The power up cycle will take some minutes, because the machine checks the installed hardware, the circuits boards rmware and security relevant circuits. 5. Check the voltage LEDs next to the corresponding uses on the Peripheral Board. The LED‘s should all be lit.
Proceed with the Basic Setup, as required. (RAM Clear, Initial Setup and Service Menu settings) For inormation on conguring the machine’s settings, reer to the Sotware Manual or a particular sotware version (e.g. Sotware Manual - diversity™ - (D3.0.x)) or urther details.

6. Bringing into Service
6.2 Basic Setup ATRONIC machines usually come congured as specied during order processing. However it might be necessary to recongure basic machine settings, such as denomination, metering, paytable, validation mode, etc. These settings can not be altered during normal operation, as they require a machine re-initialization or technical or jurisdictional reasons.
1. Carry out a RAM Clear I required, carry out a critical data storage ormatting using the RAM Clear Smart Card. This will clear all machine data, statistics and settings, including progressive jackpot conguration and allows or reconguration. 2. Carry out the Initial Setup Ater a RAM Clear the machine automatically enters the Initial Setup menu. The Initial Setup allows to congure basic machine setting.
Note: For inormation on conguring the machine’s settings, reer to the Sotware Manual or a particular sotware version (e.g. Sotware Manual - diversity™ - (D3.0.x)) or urther details.
3. Adjust game settings in the Service Menu Enter the Service Menu to adjust operator selectable game settings, such as money limits, game volume To enter the Service Menu turn the Audit Key with the main door open. 4. Test Money Handling Select Diagnostics rom within the Service Menu and carry out the required tests. 5. Test Communication Close the main door to switch to operation mode and test the communication to the accounting system.
Note: Ater money handling and communication tests you may want to carry out another RAM Clear to reset the machine statistics.
