• Use herramientas aisladas.

Fig. 11-4 MODEM GSM

HITC
However, even after switching off the general switch, the connecting terminals and the outside of contactors are still live. For these reasons, precautions must be taken and the inlet isolating switches and inverter outlet, if any, placed outside the inverter, must be opened. The general switch must be opened when the system is shut down (on/off switch in the OFF position) and when no energy is being injected into the network, although this can be opened under any conditions. The system is supplied with high energy storing capacitors for its operation. When the general switch is turned on its discharger comes into operation and a beep will be heard. When the capacitors are at a safe voltage, the beeping will stop. This operation will take about ten seconds. If the system has been turned off for some time (about half an hour), when the general switch is turned on the beep may not be heard as the capacitors will have discharged by themselves. Even though all the safety systems are in place, before touching any working parts, you must check that they are not live. This system has been designed for industrial and/or domestic-commercial use. If any liquid is spilt accidentally on the System, disconnect this and consult ZIGOR personnel. The system is ready to receive power from the photovoltaic panels. The photovoltaic field may pose a risk of electric shock or burns due to its high short circuit current. DESCRIPTION
2.1 Introduction The HITC is a state-of-the-art three-phase inverter-charger for OFF-GRID applications. It is designed to convert continuous voltage generated by photovoltaic panels, battery or the supply of power from an emergency generator, in alternating three-phase current, appropriate for use as an electrical power grid. The HITC must be installed and connected in accordance with the local regulations currently in force and may require the installation of the adequate electrical protection devices. The HITC cannot operate while connected, at its output, to the power line of the electricity company as it is not a grid injection system. The HITC generates a standard three-phase distribution grid.

4.1.3 Start-up Follow these steps to start up the unit
•
Check that the cables are connected correctly.
•
Check the door lock.
•
If there is a battery disconnector outside the system, close this.
•
Check that the display turns on correctly.
•
As of this moment, all the management electronics are on and communications with the operator via the control panel or remote device are now possible. Wait about two minutes for the power up procedure to be completed.
•
If there are any external input and output isolating switches, close them.
•
Check that START/STOP switch is in the STOP position.
•
Check that the "Emergency Stop button" is not activated. If it is, deactivate this so that the system can start.
•
Turn the general switch off (AC).
•
The system waits for the START/STOP switch to be placed in the START position.
•
Check that the START/STOP switch is in the START position. The unit will carry out the start-up sequence and the green light will flash intermittently.
•
As of this point, the system is completely autonomous.
4.2 Stopping the system Just as in the case of the system start-up, there are two procedures to follow:
•
Place the "Start/Stop" switch on the front of the unit in the "Stop" position.
•
Wait a few seconds until the input and output contactors open automatically.
•
You will observe that the system stops supplying the consumers.
•
Turn the general AC switch on.
•
Open the battery disconnector, if any. Otherwise, open the internal battery fuse.
•
The unit discharges all the residual capacities of the system automatically. All parts of the system must be free of electricity in order to be able to handle these in safety.
There is an emergency stop method which consists of pressing the "emergency button". This procedure is not the normal shut down method and should be avoided whenever possible.
ONLY USE THE EMERGENCY BUTTON IN CASES OF REAL EMERGENCY
4.3 Handling The control circuits come into operation as soon as there is direct voltage in the battery input. After carrying out the start-up procedure indicated above, the inverter is permanently in operation, providing the energy required by consumers, managing the available power sources and optimising at all times the energy provided by the renewable resource. When there is not sufficient to power in the renewable resource, the inverter-charger supplies the loads with the energy from the battery and if necessary from the auxiliary emergency power unit (if any). Once there is sufficient energy in the renewable resource, the inverter-charger provides the loads with energy from this resource. The charger will charge the batteries and manage the extraction of power from the renewable resource. HITC inverterschargers are capable of adding the energies from the different resources, maximising the use of renewable resources (DC) over the consumption of fossil resources (AC). If there is an overload or lack of resources (renewable, battery or unit) while the system is in operation, the system will stop due to a lack of generated power. Remember especially that the inverters-chargers of the HITC family are island inverters and cannot inject power into the grids of the utility company.

HITC MAINTENANCE
5.1 Maintaining the electronic system In order to guarantee the correct operation of the HITC, it is necessary to carry out a number of maintenance tasks. These tasks enable you to resolve defects before breakdowns occur and to ensure correct operation of active and passive safety devices. The frequency of maintenance tasks is dependent upon the location and the atmospheric conditions. The air quality (temperature, dust in suspension, etc.) has a great influence on the amount of maintenance work to be done in order to maintain the functionalities of the HITC system within an acceptable level of uncertainty. What we want to indicate here is that, for example, if the air contains a great amount of dust in suspension, the maintenance work must be carried out more frequently than the standard frequency indicated. The recommended maintenance tasks in accordance with frequency, are as follows:
•
Monthly: o
o
•
6 monthly: o o o o
•
Visual control of correct operation. LEDs indicating correct operation. Values within margins. No active event Control of the event history, in search of sporadic or repetitive failures. Check on the correct ventilation of the location. Cleaning of the equipment's air inlet filters. Removal of foreign bodies both in the air inlet and outlet. Visual verification of the status of connecting cables, rusting, damage to insulation, etc.
Annually: o o o o o o o

Cleaning and blowing of power module radiators. Cleaning and blowing of power module bus sandwiches. Cleaning and blowing of electronic circuits. Checking tightness and status of power and signal cables. Checking of colour changes or by buckling due to hot points. Control of cleaning and water filtrations in the room in which the system is located. Checking of any system safety functions provided: Shunting to ground. DC and AC Dischargers Emergency button Open door Checking the operation of switches and contactors. Checking power and signal fuses. Checking auxiliary voltage sources.
In the case of some of these maintenance tasks, power generating must be shut down.
Incorrect maintenance can render the warranty null and void. The rest of the installation must also be maintained adequately. The maintenance tasks to be carried out shall depend on the different elements that make up the installation, panels, emergency generator and cabling. The battery requires special attention.

5.2 Battery maintenance
Efficient maintenance lengthens the service life of batteries and ensures that the unit operates correctly.
Placing the batteries correctly so that all their elements can be easily reached facilitates maintenance. Maintenance consists of checking the following aspects:
•
Cleanliness: The elements, their connections and supports must be kept clean and dry. It is recommended to protect the terminals and metal connections with diluted vaseline. Do not use cleaning products containing solvents and/or harmful substances for cleaning elements with plastic containers.
•
Connections and terminals: Check the tightness of nuts on the poles of elements as well as the tightness of the electrical connection with at regular intervals of approximately 12 months.
•
Checking voltages: Check the voltages of elements in order to detect any possible anomalies in these.
•
Refilling elements with electrolyte (only when appropriate): The electrolyte level must never be under the minimum safety mark. The electrolyte level must be made up with distilled water. Filling with electrolyte must only be done when it is neces sary to replace the original. Never exceed the maximum level indicated on the elements. Should electrolyte fall on the elements or their accessories during the refilling operation, the affected parts must be cleaned thoroughly and then dried.
•
Checking the density of the electrolyte (only when appropriate): The density does not vary according to the load status, nevertheless it decreases during the service life of the battery. The standard density of the electrolyte depends on the manufacturer.
WARNING Electrolyte is highly corrosive. In the case of any contact with the skin, remove stained clothing and wash with abundant water those parts of the skin affected. The case of any problem, see a doctor. The case of any contact with one's eyes, rinse with a great deal of water for 10 to 15 minutes and see an ophthalmologist. • Periodic Discharges: If, due to use, the batteries do not support systematic charging and discharging operations, the following indications must be applied. In order to maintain the properties of the active material that makes up the battery, the battery must be discharged periodically (it is recommended that this be done every six months). Periodic discharges provide an indication of autonomous operation, allow you to detect faulty elements and discover symptoms of premature ageing. It is not necessary to discharge the battery completely as this might involve a risk of disconnecting the output as the battery does not have its complete capacity. After these intentional discharges, leave the system on for at least 24 hours in order to recharge the battery completely. Do not smoke, light a fire or generate sparks near batteries during recharging as there is a risk of fire and/or explosion. For cleaning, do not use synthetic material clothes or sponges. Keep batteries clean and dry at all times. Protect them against dirt, dust, metal shavings, etc.
WARNING If the HITC is to remain disconnected or shut down during a period of three days or more, the battery switch or protection fuse must be disconnected in order to avoid uncontrolled discharges. The HITC must be kept in a place that is not excessively hot.

Operating Manual
HITC
5.2.1 Battery replacement Batteries must be placed or handled with special care in accordance with a number of basic accident prevention regulations:
•
Do not attempt to open the batteries. These contain electrolyte, which can cause burns to eyes and skin.
•
Do not wear rings, bracelets, watches, etc., as these could cause short-circuits or electric shocks.
•
Use insulated tools.
•
Wear gloves, insulated protective shoe wear and safety goggles.
•
Discharge body static electricity before handling connections.
•
Do not place tools on the batteries.
•
Do not place batteries near fire or sources of heat.
•
Do not smoke, there is a risk of explosion.
•
Make sure that the HITC is completely switched off and disconnected from the generation and consumption lines before replacing the batteries.
N.B.: BATTERIES ARE CONSIDERED TO BE DANGEROUS WASTE MATERIALS. IN ORDER TO SAFEGUARD THE ENVIRONMENT, MANAGE USED BATTERIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS IN FORCE IN EACH COUNTRY OR COMMUNITY. Important: Temperature affects the service life of the battery. The optimum temperature is between 20ºC and 30ºC. An increase of 10ºC can reduce its service life by 50%.
The drawing of a crossed out wheeled container on the product or in the documentation or packaging means that the electrical-electronic components and batteries must be disposed of separately at the end of their service life. This requirement is applied in the European Union and in those locations where individual disposal systems are available. Do not dispose of these components in the form of unsorted municipal waste. 22

MONITORISATION
The HITC systems can be monitorised remotely by means of the AppletServer. For the user, this represents a powerful tool for controlling the photovoltaic photovoltaic operation. The SUNZET solar inverters, by ETX console platform, offer a range of TCP/IP services for their interaction:
•
Web service: Port 80 is used as default port. The port 5901 can also use by below.
•
SNMP server: Use the default port, port 161.
The access to these services can be Local or Remote, using any of the physical communication interfaces availables: RS-232 and Ethernet port.
Local Access A local access is possible via Ethernet port, using a crossover cable, if it will be directly connected to a PC nodo; or using a normal one, in the case you do the interconnection element as a switch. In the PC nodo must configure its network parameters (IP address and Mask) according with the established parameters by the inverter (read the user manual for consulting or modifying them), taking into account where each nodo must have a unique IP address.
Remote Access It is possible the remote access through any of the following two scenarios: 1. Using GSM modem or RTC: In this case, an approved modem will be used connecting to a PS-232 port by a serie cable. In the case of using a GSM modem, it is necessary a SIM card, it is important to note that before connecting, the PIN number or the SIM have to be introduced in the corresponding parameter of the inverter (if you don’t do this, you can block the SIM so that you need the PUK code to release the card), or disable the number. The connection has been established from the other modem, establishing a network phone access. When the connection has been establishing, the access will be possible by the IP address of the PPP link (192.168.55.1 by default, see the user manual and the annexes) 2. Through another nodo of the network that it is as a platform or gateway (Router, etc.) The form of access depends on the funcitionalities of the platform. In any case, the communication will be possible by Ethernet port in the same way as the local connection. In the most cases, it will be necessary to configurate the platform and redirect the before TCP/IP ports. The value of the Gateway parameter of t he inverter has been established with the IP address of the platform because this is the communication element with the outside. To use this tool, the SUNZET TP T inverters must be connected to Internet and must have a valid IP address. The control station must be provided with a computer connected to the Internet and an Internet Browser with Java™ runtime installed correctly. If, after being connected to the system, there is no activity for more than five minutes, communications will be lost and these will have to be re-established if you want to take any other action. Description of the different Applet screens:

6.5 Events Screen "Events" screen, showing the active alarms of the HITC system, allowing you to recognise and set up events. The information provided through this screen is used to detect problems in the installation and allows you to act accordingly. In a failure situation, the events presented in this screen provide useful information for technical service personnel and helps them to make a preliminary analysis of the problem. If an event occurs, an icon (a red bell) appears in the lower left-hand corner on all the screens, to indicate this situation. Each event contains a package of information:
•
Event code.
•
Event name.
•
Status, recognised or not.
•
Level of seriousness.
•
Date and Time when it occurred.
•
Elements involved in the event.
•
Box to recognise the event or not.
The colour of the "bell" of each event has the following meaning:
•
Red, the event is active and not recognised.
•
Amber, the event is active and recognised.
•
Green, the event has been deactivated

6.6 Events History Screen The Events History records the different events that have occurred in the HITC system. Records are kept of each event activated as well as its deactivation. The number of events that can be stored is limited to 100 records. The oldest records are lost and only those that have occurred more recently are kept. This events history gives you a general idea of the service life of the HITC system, with regard to its long-term maintenance, heat or electrical problems, and so on. This screen allows you to delete the events history in order to control failures over known time periods. You must take into consideration that once you erase the events history, this cannot be recovered. The colour of the "bell" of each event has the following meaning:
•
Red, the event has been activated but it has not been recognised.
•
Amber, the event is active and has been recognised.
•
Green, the event has been deactivated

HITC
OPTIONS
For the HITC family of inverters-chargers, ZIGOR has developed a series of options to optimise the functionalities of the system, facilitating power control and for supervising operation.
7.1 SUNZET STRING Box Traditionally, series of photovoltaic field panels were connected parallel or, at the most, with fuse protections. This configuration works, but does not provide information on the status of the photovoltaic field as the measurements provided correspond to the inverter. It may happen that one of the series does not generate power but there is no information on this. In order to make up for this lack of information, ZIGOR has developed the SUNZET STRING Box, which provides information on the current generated in each series of panels, DC overvoltage trips and cabinet output isolating switch trips. With all this information a greater control of production and of potential failures in the photovoltaic field is possible. Likewise, the cabinets are provided with two fuses in each series, one on the positive side and another on the negative side, protecting the photovoltaic field against short-circuits in the panels. Each cabinet is connected to the HITC unit by means of an RS485 Channel. In this way, each inverter is provided with information from the cabinets that manage its photovoltaic field and each inverter publishes information so that the appropriate corrective actions can be taken. The input of the series of photovoltaic field panels is connected by means of terminals in the control circuit. One or two series can be connected per pair of fuses. The terminal cable section is up to 10mm 2 The cabinet output is connected on the output disconnection switch, allowing for a cable section of up to 50mm 2. This cabinet requires an auxiliary supply of 230VAC 50/60Hz to supply the control and communications system. Each cabinet must be provided with a communications cable for the RS485 Channel. It is recommendable to use a minimum cable of 3 braided cables with ground screen to avoid possible interferences in the communications. The SUNZET STRING Box has IP66 and the cables pass through an IP68 packing gland, 18 packing glands for the series of panels and 3 packing glands for the cabinet output and ground connection.

7.2 Weatherproof cabins HITC inverters require that the environment in which they operate is adequate for their correct operation and minimum distances for maintenance. For this purpose, there is a range of appropriate outdoor ventilated cabins for ZIGOR solar inverter-charger installations. These cabins are defined to ensure correct ventilation and have sufficient space for the maintenance work which is carried out around HITC systems. There is a standard range of cabins, but based on this range, these can be personalised in accordance with the needs of the customer.

7.3 GSM MODEM For remote installations in which there are HITC systems, a connection point towards the exterior may be defined by means of a GSM MODEM. This MODEM is installed on the bottom inside part of the door of the HITC. All the information on the inverter-charger can be accessed via this connection point.
Fig. 11-4 GSM MODEM
Remember that the GSM MODEM requires an active SIM card in order to be able to use this for managing the unit. This SIM card is not provided by ZIGOR; the customer must provide his own. Before inserting the SIM card, the PIN for each card must be configured. By default, the PIN configured for the system is “0000”. If this is not configured before inserting it in the MODEM, the card may be blocked. In order to be able to connect to the HITC system remotely, a PPP connection will be established by means of a telephone connection to networks.
7.4 SUNZET METEO For the management of locations in which the HITC inverter-charger is installed, it may be necessary to have meteorological data. For these situations, ZIGOR offers the SUNZET METEO option. This option provides the HITC with meteorological data and publishes these in its graphics environment.
