Adhesion of Stopaq Wrappingband to be inspected on a pipe coated with Wrappingband CZ and Outerwrap PVC White.

Mark an area of approx. 100mm x 100mm where the inspection window will be made. Cut the marked area with a cutter. Do not damage the steel surface. Remove the Outerwrap PVC white gently from the inspection window.

Clean the circumference of the pipe, minimum 100mm wider on both ends of the inspection window. Remove all loose contaminations and any dust or whatsoever.

Cover the patched-up inspection window with Stopaq Wrappingband CZ, minimum 50mm wider as the patch. Apply without air inclusions and without air enclosures. Is several strips of Stopaq Wrappingband CZ will be used, apply with a minimum side-by-side overlap of 10mm. Firmly press the material on the substrate. ≥50mm

Apply Outerwrap PVC White over the entire area, minimum 50mm wider as the applied strips of Stopaq Wrappingband CZ. Start and end with 2 circumferential overlap. Apply with tension and a minimum overlap of 50%. Cut the end as a tie. Apply without air inclusions.
