Within these areas the mechanic is able to make minor adjustments to the operation of the elevator and perform some important maintenance tasks such as, Performing a shaft set up drive & calibration of the Load Weighing Device, adjusting door times etc.

Action / Purpose Push MENU button to select the required menu. Keep pressing the MENU button will scroll through the menus available to you. NOTE- “ d” is a drive fault menu.
SELECT / ACCEPT
Pushing SELECT / ACCEPT will enter the MENU you have chosen and now allow you to choose a submenu. When you have chosen the menu you require, press SELECT / ACCEPT again and you will have entered the SU MENU and there will now be a VALUE flashing in the VALUE segment of the display.
Arrow buttons CAR CALL
The UP & DN arrow buttons will allow you to scroll through the SUB MENUS available to you. You can also choose the required floor you wish to send the lift to and push CAR CALL.
UP CALL / DOWN You can give UP and DOWN landing calls using these buttons CALL
Button Action / Purpose INHIBIT DOOR OPENING Use these switches to prevent doors from opening and to ignore INHIBIT LANDING landing calls. Advisable to use these switches when testing the lift CALLS to avoid interruption of testing or trapping of passengers. OSG TEST Used to make the Overspeed Governor trip. Refer to safety instruction for use. DO NOT USE BUFFER TEST Not used on Monospace lifts
Example - Performing Shaft Setup Drive For Monospace elevators with the KNX card fitted and access to all the menus enabled, follow steps 1-9 below 1. Call the lift to the top floor and ensure that the car is empty. 2. Inhibit the landing calls & doors using the two inhibit switches on the front of the CPU. 3. Switch the elevator to RDF (Recall Drive Function) in the controller (switch 270 ) RDF (Recall Drive Function) Common / Run button. This button must be pressed at the same time as the UP or DN direction button
4. Drive the lift car down to the lowest floor level. The LED’s 61U, 77N, (77S) 30 and B30 (if through type car) must to be lit when the lowest floor is reached. 5. Scroll through the parameter menus using the “ Menu” button until the number “ 5” is displayed in the left hand segment of the display. 4. Press the “ Accept / Select” button & a number “1” will appear in the “Sub Menu” segments. 5. Use the Up & Down arrows to scroll up to sub menu “2” 6..Press the “Accept / Select” Button again and a flashing “ 0” will have appeared in the “Value” segment. 7. Using the Up arrow change the value from “0” to “1” 8. Press the “Accept / Select” Button again and the Value “1” will stop flashing. 9. Now turn the RDF (switch 270 ) back to normal. The elevator will now move up the shaft at slow speed creating the shaft image. There will be three dashes in the menu segment whilst the lift is performing the drive and you will also see the floors counted on the display. Completion of successful drive When the elevator reaches the top most floor it will stop slightly above floor quite abruptly. If the set up has been successful you will see 5 dots appear in the segment display. When the 5 dots disappear and the floor number reappears, isolate the elevator-using switch 220 (main switch). Switch elevator back on after 5 secs. (This rebooting of the system will burn the shaft image into the drive permanent memory .)
NOTE: For Monospace elevators without the KNX card fitted and No access to the menus, the shaft set up drive cannot be performed as part of the required maintenance regime.

Fault log specifically for drive – Can log up to 10 specific faults related to drive system. Fault 1 being the latest. Logged faults in this menu are lost if the elevator is isolated.

Elevator Parameters – General parameters for elevator operation. If any parameters are changed, the system must be rebooted to accept those changes.
