ABOUT THIS STYLE This Tank has a shapely, but not too tight f it, with a knit body, and a woven fluted hem and neckline trim, plus bias-cut neckline and armhole binding.
We usually recommend making a muslin before you cut your fabric; again, see our special note in the circle below ...you'll probably be better off just 'going for it' and adjusting as you go for this one!
1a
Start by joining the neckline bias trim at the two short ends to create a loop; press the seam open, then fold the loop in half lengthways and set aside until step 4a.

Repeat step 1a, this time using the armholes bias strips and creating two loops; set aside until step 4c.
Join the tank front to the tank back at the shoulder seams, and press the seams open.

Making sure you don't stretch the neckline and armholes, work two rows of basting stitches around the neckline and armholes, about 1/4/0.5 cm and 5/8"/1.25cm in from the cut edges..this will stabilize the edges for the binding.
