Hotel Management System 1.Introduction 1.1 Project overview The following proposed system aims to develop web application for facilitating reservation process at hotel. The system provide the reception an easy way for searching on rooms, listing off rooms, inserting the client information, getting details about specific client, making a reservation for rooms and doing payment process. The project consist of two main parts: Building solution for data base for storing and representing metadata in easy way, building a reception’s interface that allows the reception for inserting, deleting, updating, modifying and representing of metadata. 1.2 Project Deliverables Suggested Deliverables: Requirements Analysis – a document and a presentation to go over the formal requirements of the project, both functional and non-functional. This deliverable ensures that the Group is working on a system that closely matches to the wishes of the Client. Design Document – a document and a presentation to go over the design of the system. This is the Group’s opportunity to go over how the project is to be implemented to the Client. Source Code – a document, presentation along with the source code of the final completed project. This final deliverable wraps up and concludes the project. Technical Deliverables: A database with tables that going to support the system. These tables will be used to store the information that are needed for reservation and payment; such as, guests detail, rooms detail, reservation date and employees, who do the reservation, detail. A reception interface to add, delete and modify for reservations, guests, employees and payments. Searching for specific guest and reservation.
