Instructors: Bruce Greenidge
Bruce is Director of GOC Geo Consultants Limited, a local geological service provider. He has twenty (20) years oilfield experience working in mudlogging, wellsite geology and oper ations geology. In 1994, his career began with Halliburton Trinidad Limited as a Logging Geologist working in Amoco Trinidad Oil Company’s Teak, Poui and Samaan Fields.
His primary responsibilities included well
monitoring via drilling engineering/drilling fluids engineering, description of drilled cuttings, preparation of daily reports and logs, crew supervision, equipment maintenance and the preparation of Geological End of Well Reports (EOWRs). After spending three (3) years in mudlogging, from 1997 to 2009 Bruce was contracted to Professional Petroleum Services Limited as a Wellsite/Operations Geologist. Here performed services for EOG Resources Trinidad Limited (Oilbird, Toucan and Osprey Fields), BG Trinidad &Tobago Limited (Dolphin and Poinsettia Fields), Trinmar Limited (Soldado East, West and Main Fields), Exxon Trinidad Limited (Block 24) and bpTT (Kapok, Immortelle, Savonette and Flambouyant Fields). His responsibilities included but not limited to: well planning, preparation of montages and geological operations plans, geological guidance and updates to Subsurface Team, LWD and EWL data QC, hydrocarbon evaluation, coring operations supervision, regular communications with the MEEA End of Well Reports creation and training of service personnel in mudlogging and wellsite geology. For most of 2010, Bruce worked as an independent Consultant Wellsite Geologist for Parex Resources in the Southern Basin, Trinidad & Tobago. Thereafter from late Q3, 2010 to 2014 he has consulted for bpTT as a Wellsite/Operations Geologist through Hydrocarbon Outsource Limited and Baker Hughes (Trinidad) Limited. Bruce did his BSc (Geology) at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA and the MPhil (Marine Sedimentology) at the UWI, Mona, Jamaica. He also pursued graduate courses at the School for Resource and Environmental Studies, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. While pursuing his postgraduate studies, he was the recipient of many awards. Over the years, Bruce has undertaken many industry training courses in Pore Pressure Prediction, Drilling/Well Control, Advanced Petroleum Geology, Basic Safety, Log Drawing and Basic Surface Data Logging. Bruce is a member of the GSTT, the University of the West Indies Alumni Association (Trinidad and Tobago Chapter) and the Trinity College Alumni Association.

Horace Tuitt
Horace is the Principal of Tuitt Services, a service provider and has thirty-four (34) years oilfield experience the majority of which was spent as a Consultant Wellsite Geologist… in the mid 90s two (2)
years were spent as a Logging Geologist with Baker Hughes Inteq. He began his career with Texaco as a Field Geologist in 1978 working in Barrackpore and Oropouche and later as a Wellsite Geologist in the ECMA (Dolphin Field) and the Gulf of Paria until 1981. From 19811990, Horace worked with Amoco Trinidad Oil Company as a Geologist in the Poui Field development and Samaan Field structural study. His wellsite geology career began in earnest in 1993 with ATOC and continued with Halliburton Trinidad Limited on ATOCs Immortelle, Mahogany, Teak and Samaan Fields. His responsibilities included but not limited to: well planning, preparation of montages and geological operations plans, geological guidance and updates to Subsurface Team, LWD and EWL data QC, hydrocarbon evaluation, coring operations supervision, regular communications with the MEEA End of Well Reports creation and training of service personnel in mudlogging and wellsite geology. In 2001, Horace began consulting as a Wellsite Geologist with Hydrocarbon Outsource Limited on BGT&T’s Hibiscus, Chaconia and Ixora Fields Development in t he NCMA 1. He later consulted for
Professional Petroleum Services for clients such as BHP Billiton, EOG Resources Trinidad Limited, Kerr McGee/Anadarko Trinidad Limited and Petro-Canada Trinidad Inc. He consulted for Kronus Geological Services Limited on projects for Niko Resources Trinidad Limited, Parex Resources (Trinidad) Limited, Bayfield Energy (Trinidad) Limited, EOG Resources Trinidad Limited, Centrica Energy Upstream, Trinity E&P LLC, BGT&T and Repsol E&P Trinidad Limited. Horace has participated in numerous industry training courses over the years including the following seminars: NGT/ LDT Interpretation, Borehole Seismic Interpretation, Schlumberger Advanced Interpretation, Dipmeter Interpretation, Wireline Logging, Sandstone Reservoirs, Recent Sedimentation Clastic and Field Trip, Evaluation of Drilling and Testing Data, Well Log Interpretation Review, Geophysics for Non- Geophysicists, Schlumberger Basic Log Interpretation. He also attended the following GSTT Schools: Development Geology, Seismic Stratigraphy, Structural Geology, Turbidite Geology and the AAPG Petroleum Exploration Sc hool.
His tertiary education consists of an A.S. in Architectural Engineering from Essex County College, Newark, N.J. and a BS in Geology from the University of Florida, Gainsville, Florida. Since then he has participated in numerous industry training courses over the period 1978 -1989. He is a member of the GSTT.

Neil Mohammed
In 2006 Neil began his oilfield career as a Field Geologist with Latinum Limited performing surface geological mapping of the South Western peninsula for Trinidad Exploration and Development Ltd. On completion of this project, Neil began working as a Logging Geologist with International Logging Inc (now Weatherford International SLS) for the next seven (7) years. During this time he rose to the position of Senior Data Engineer/Unit Manager. His mudlogging experience involved work in most geological basins both onshore and offshore locally with Trinmar Limited (Soldado East, West and Main Fields), BGT&T (NCMA and Dolphin Field, ECMA, Central Block), EOG Resources (Block U(b), Anadarko, Petro-Canada ( Block 1A/1B, Gulf of Paria and Block 22), TED and Canadian Superior (Block 5C). Internationally, Neil worked in the Campos Basin, Brazil with Petrobras, Devon Energy, Hess, Anadarko, Maersk, Statoil, ONGC and Karoon Petroleo & Gas Ltd. His primary responsibilities included well monitoring via drilling engineering, drilling fluids engineering, description of drilled cuttings, preparation of daily reports and logs, crew supervision and training of new hires, equipment maintenance and the preparation of Geological End of Well Reports (EOWRs). In 2013, Neil began geological consulting as Junior Wellsite Geologist with Kronus Geological Services Limited on projects for Centrica Energy Upstream (Block 22 and NCMA 4), BGT&T Limited (Block E/5a), Trinity E&P LLC (Galeota Block). He currently consults as a Wellsite Geologist on the Leni Gas and Oil/Goudron E&P Trinidad Limited project in the Goudron Field, G uayaguayare. Neil pursued his BSc (Geology) at the UWI, Mona, Jamaica.

Operations Geologist Duties:
To provide geological support to multi-disciplinary team - Subsurface, Drilling Engineering, Rig Responsible, along with shore-based multidisciplinary team (Subsurface and Drilling) for the geological planning and execution of wells Areas of work include: Review of offset wells to determine data acquired, subsurface risks/problems encountered/NPT. Establish data acquisition plan and services (LWD/wireline/mudlogging/biostratigraphy/Pore Pressure Analysis) to be utilized. Determine all potential subsurface risks and mitigations Coring operations planning: risk assessment, Decision Tree generation and coring programme documentation Generation of Geological Operations Plan and well montage Preparation of scope of work for G&G contractual services, source and evaluate same - wellsite geology, pore pressure evaluation, mudlogging, biostratigraphy, wireline logging QC, cuttings and core data storage and evaluation of tenders for same Supervision of above geological services via meetings with the service provider Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Wellsite Geologist. Ensure that all geological operations documents – Geological Operations Plan, montage, offset logs are prepared and delivered to Wellsite Geologist, rig, Drilling department, partners, Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs (MEEA) Attend Pre-Spud meetings and meet with service company personnel on rig 9

Attend daily morning calls/meetings between shore-based team and rig and provide geological updates Ensure that daily reports and logs created during drilling operations are communicated to MEEA, partners and contractors. Production of Geological End of Well reports and composite logs; capture lessons learned. Ensure the maintenance of good communication from rig to shore-base, partners and MEEA for the reporting of all Subsurface/Drilling related documentation, reports. Monitoring of partner-operated wells and presentation of daily and weekly operations summaries to the Subsurface Team Coordinate the dispatch of well data - cuttings, cores and fluid samples from the wellsite to company base and distribution to the MEEA, partners and offsite storage as required QC service providers data sets – Final Well Reports and logs and arrange distribution to partners, the MEEA QC datasets for daily posting of wellsite data to operator database for viewing by shore-based team Liaise with service providers for presentation of products, services and new technology to Subsurface and Drilling Teams Encourage health, safety, security (data confidentiality) and environmental compliance.
