KATA PENGANTAR Dengan memanjatkan puji syukur kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara telah dapat menyelesaikan buku publikasi Gorontalo Utara Dalam Angka 2015. Pada saat ini kebutuhan akan data statistik dari setiap sektor pembangunan, semakin dirasakan. Hal ini memotivasi BPS Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara untuk terus melengkapi dan menyempurnakan data yang disajikan baik dari sisi kuantitas maupun kualitasnya. Data yang disajikan bersumber dari kegiatan rutin, survei, dan sensus yang dilakukan oleh BPS Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, dan dilengkapi dengan data sekunder yang dikelola oleh Instansi pemerintah dan swasta di wilayah Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Data yang disajikan diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan baku pokok dalam perencanaan pembangunan sektoral dan lintas sektoral di wilayah Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Saran dan kritik dari berbagai pihak dalam rangka perbaikan pubikasi ini di masa mendatang sangat kami harapkan. PREFACE Praise to be God, BPS - Statistics of Gorontalo Utara Regency has successfully published Gorontalo Utara in Figures 2015. It is much more realized now that the demand for statistics from all sectors has increased. This fact encourages us to fulfill and complete the data both in terms of quantity as well as quality. The data presented are primarily compiled from routine activities, surveys, and censuses conducted by BPSStatistics of Gorontalo Utara Regency. However, the secondary data sources complied by public and private institutions in Gorontalo Utara Regency, are also utilized. Hence, all of data become powerful ingradients for development plan inter and intra sector in Gorontalo Utara Regency. Any suggestions and criticisms to improve this publication will be cordially welcome. Last but not least, I hope this publication is able to fulfill the demand for statistical data for the public and private institutions. Moreover, this could be useful and valuable source to other data users.

Kecepatan angin pada 2014 yang dipantau Stasiun pengamatan BMKG jalaludin hampir merata setiap bulannya, yakni pada kisaran 1,0 sampai 3,3 knot.

Curah hujan di suatu tempat antara lain dipengaruhi oleh keadaan iklim, keadaan geografi dan perputaran/pertemuan arus udara. Oleh karena itu jumlah curah hujan dan hari hujan beragam menurut bulan dan letak stasiun pengamat. Rata-rata curah hujan selama tahun 2014 berkisar 6 – 321 mm. Jumlah hari

Pada tahun 2014, luas lahan sawah di Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara mencapai 6.536 hektar, dan terbanyak ditamani padi 2 kali dalam 1 tahun. Luas Areal sawah
