Testing Procedure

Verify that the relay rear connection/wiring is according to referred drawings. Power up relay at its rated voltage mentioned on face plate of relay. Verify that “ In Service” green LED on face plate is lit up. Verify that different protection units inside the relay are configured on desired settings. Isolate the relay from field side wiring as per referred drawing. Inject different voltage & current values (according to relay trip settings) to relay and check its functionality and behavior. Note down all test results in tables given below.
