Flexi Multiradio BTS modules used in configurations
1 Flexi Multiradio BTS modules used in configurations This section presents the following modules used in configurations: • •
Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS System Module (FSM) Flexi Multiradio BTS RF Modules
For information about cabling the modules, see Cabling Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS LTE. Pay attention to the order in which the cables are connected.
1.1
Flexi Multiradio BTS System Module Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS System Module (FSMF) is used. The indicated optical interfaces are crucial for configurations.
g
Note that: •
•
Flexi Baseband Module (FBBA) is optional, but needed in some configurations. In such cases, the FBBA need is stated. When using only one FBBA, install it in the left-hand side slot and connect it to BB EXT1 port on FSMF core. When using two FBBAs, connect the second one to BB EXT2. The EIF2/RF/6 interface can be used in two modes: as a transport interface or as a RP3-01 interface. The latter is for creating configurations.

Note: Antenna numbers on the actual FZNC RF Module differ from those on Figure 3 FZNC RF Module. The actual antenna connectors (from left to right) are ANT1 to ANT8, although the FZNC is a six-pipe module. Thus, in the software implementation the connectors are presented in the same way as in the figure.
