HGF Heavy Grizzly Feeder For your heaviest duties The Heavy Grizzly Feeder design pays off in open pit applications, with coarse feed, up to 1000 mm, and large hopper volumes, up to 200 m 3.
Reliable and precise feed rate adjustment by speed and stroke
• HGF always have a heavy-duty double shaft mechanism with gears in oil-bath lubrication and a separate electric motor and v-belt drive.
Designed to:
• Match the largest jaw crushers and impact crushers available. (For instance Jawmaster™ 1513 (52”x60”) and Impactmaster P1000). • Effectively scalp and bypass material to relieve the crusher. • Remove low quality fine material.
Grizzly and fines removal in one unit
• The feeder has 2 grizzly sections (integral type) in the top deck for separations from 75 to 225 mm. • Installation at six degrees helps keep the grizzly clean and increases feeding and scalping capacity in a controlled way. • A cross-tensioned optional second deck can be installed for removal of natural fines.
Rugged all-welded body
• The feeder body is all welded for maximum impact rigidity. • Replaceable AR-steel wear liners are used on all exposed area. • Suspended on coil springs for minimum transmission of dynamic loads.
SRP Grizzly Feeders Built to take a beating Besides handling large feed rates with coarse blasted rock, a primary feeder must also take the material impact from dump trucks or wheel loaders. Sandvik offers a range of primary grizzly feeders that balance the demands of capacity, impact strength, weight and installation dimensions. Grizzly sections that won’t peg

Sandvik MGF-unit is designed for high capacities, from 300 to 1400 t/h, in primary and secondary feeding application. The low profile makes MGF feeders cost-effective to install. Standard hopper volume is 26-45 m 3 with max feed size up to 1 500 mm. Highly adjustable for tailored performance

Better fines removal means better crusher performances. The Sandvik FS-unit is a combination of a separate pan feeder and a separate double-deck vibrating screen. Powerful drive with variable capacity
• FS-units can significantly improve the total throughput of a primary station by it’s ability to keep a primary crusher fully fed even during varying feed conditions. • The separate screen unit ensures efficient scalping and fines removal as well as high availability even with difficultmaterials. • The separate feed unit gives better flow control than vibrating grizzly feeders as it can be regulated based on what tonnage is actually reaching the subsequent crusher.
Efficient scalping
• The screen offers very good separations since it runs independently of the feeder and the stroke length, stroke angle and motor speed can thus be optimized for effective scalping and fines removal. • The top deck has 2 grizzly sections with a step in between for efficient scalping and to keep the grizzly from pegging. • The second deck has tensioned screening media and a steeper incline for better fines removal. • The linear motion vibration and drive size ensures enough acceleration (g-force) to keep the wire mesh from blinding.

Stepless feed rate adjustment
• The dual unbalanced electric motor drive makes a simple stepless feed rate adjustment possible off-line or on-line using the FORCE™ system. • Sandvik Rock Processing’s experience with unbalanced motor drives over the last decades has shown that they give very high availability and reliability. Especially for this type and size of feeder, which is often installed under less-than-ideal conditions. GFx: special X-tra heavy design:

• Sandvik PFU pan feeders are specially designed for feeding at high capacities rates onto conveyor belts with a minimum of spillage from bins, crushers or in tunnel type reclaim systems. • The special beak design collects the material along the centerline of the feeder without restricting the material flow or causing excess wear. HYDROSTROKE™ HF/HFP A match for your largest dumpt trucks Hydrostroke™ HF/HFP is a heavy reciprocating feeder for large primary stations with large volume, high drop height or where very large dump trucks are used. Hydrostroke™ HF - primary reciprocating feeder
HF has a robust feeder plate, skirts with an effective double wiper side sealing system and rear sealings, wear liners and a hydraulic drive unit with hydraulic cylinder, hoses and a control system (optional). HF feeders are supported from below and a separate feed hopper or chute is used. Hydrostroke™ HFP is a primary reciprocating feeder with hopper
HFP is a complete feed unit including a HFfeeder and in addition a complete heavy duty primary dump hopper with inclined walls. The hopper is equipped with wear liners and overflow curtain. The volume of the hopper can be increased with hopper extension.

Secondary feeder for tough applications Hydrostroke™ HFS/HFSx reciprocating feeders are built to give practical and robust spill-free solutions for secondary applications. The feeder consists of reciprocating feeder plate, feed hopper with vertical walls including an effective double wiper side sealing system and rear sealing, wear liners and a hydraulic drive units with hydraulic cylinder, hoses and a control system (optional). The hopper is furnished with an overflow curtain. HFS and HFSx feeders are normally supported directly from above with the feed hopper flange bolted to a counter flange. Extra heavy HFSx feeders are available for feeding coarse material and higher capacities.

Mine and quarry toughness The FORCE™ system – Feed Optimising RPM Control System – is developed specifically for vibrating feeder speed and capacity control in rough mine and quarry environments. The system is prepared for simple interface with conveyors, bins, crushers and other process equipment.
