2. Before the start of the drill, the Project Manager and the emergency team member including the Safety Officer, Senior Site Engineer, foreman and first aider briefed all the workers on the hazards of electrical power, their precaution and preventive measures. (Photo 1) 3. The drill was conducted on the assumption that a worker received an electric shock when using a low voltage portable electrical tool. (Photo 2) 4. Safety Officer and foreman demonstrated how to properly separate the worker from the current source by using non-conductive object (e.g. wooden rod) when unable to turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord. (Photo 3) 5. Under the assistance of the First Aider and Senior Site Engineer, the injured worker was moved to a safe place for first aid treatment. (Photo 4) 6. After physical checking the breathing and carotid pulse of the injured worker, the First Aider confirmed the worker was unconscious and not breathing at all. (Photo 5) 7. The First Aider provided the Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CP R) treatment to the injured worker. (Photo 5 & 6) 8. After having the CPR treatment, the physical condition of the injured worker has been restored to normal. (Photo 7) 9. Finally, Safety Officer reviewed the whole process of the drill and briefed to all participants about the important notes on electrical shock prevention and treatment. (Photo 8)
