Oriental metaphysics (notably Flying Star Feng Shui) will be saturated with red herrings: decoy to cover up the real underlying teaching. It is disconcerting to see how the field has been employing red herrings through some of those ‘most trusted’ and ‘least under suspicion’ techniques. More harmless such decoys could still come from the ancient scholar , whereas certain red herrings deliberately installed by the ‘emperor’ to come to your detriment.

RED HERRINGS
FAR BEYOND (9 Ki Divination training)
Most practitioners in 9 Stars and Luoshu systems of application would still today pretty much rely on those 9 Stars and Trigram attributes as portrayed in Shuō Guà Zhuán 説卦傳 . Having gone way passed that, you will learn an enormous amount of 9 Stars attributes for your 9 Ki forecasting. Not just that, Shuo Gua wouldn’t be handling any Star combinations, so we’d be covering those extensively.
TO M ING G UA (Flying Star Feng Shui training)
We can’t speak for others, but now with all established teachers - Chinese masters first - being aware that the Chinese Ming Gua system (invented by monk Yixing under instigation of his emperor) has been a falsification from the start, most persist in still teaching it. Ming Gua’s sole aim is to disintegrate people. We’ve seen at least 3 versions in circulation through which masters attempt to reason into what ”monk Yixing would have done” to let his male descending and female ascending cycle coincide at ‘Gua 3’. I will convincingly – disclose what exactly monk Yixing would have done to please his emperor and you may at first not be all too amused if at any point you had been actually employing the system, advising students
As a 9 Stars and Luoshu practitioner: here’s least you need to hear on 9 Stars behavior and temperament As I will exemplify further on, please duly reflect on ‘same’ behavior to 9 Stars once employed for purpose of Flying Star Feng Shui, and as then you’d involve those from 9 Ki derived annual- and monthly Stars to be superimposed over the Flying Star chart. Notably Flying Star Feng Shui to persistently treat those otherwise from 9 Ki derived annual- and monthly Stars as if these were to perform in same ways we’d expe ct 9 Stars to behave for purpose of Flying Star Feng Shui. Each one its own distinct ‘operator’, Flying Star Feng Shui and 9 Ki couldn’t be more perfectly unrelated.
Then, the more urgently as you may have been a practitioner of Flying Star Feng Shui: know that those from 9 Ki derived annual- and monthly Stars are Heaven Qi (Yang), therefore always timely It’s a given that any Flying Star Feng Shui class having progressed far enough into the basics, would at one point turn to calculations done for annual- and monthly Stars, those then superimposed over the Flying Star chart. Ten to one that teacher had bypassed to inform class: “okay, up to thus far it was Fei Xing, while we’d now side-step into 9 Ki to obtain annual- and monthly Stars”. This is because Flying Star Feng Shui calculates for 20 year Periods by the hand of the San Yuan Jiu Yun doctrine, whereas simply, 9 Ki never gets to see the likes of San Yuan Jiu Yun. So far so good, but now with everyone informed that 9 Stars would be alternately timely and untimely in Fei Xing Feng Shui (due to San Yuan Jiu Yun), then furthermore instructed that ‘timely Stars ar e auspicious’ and ‘untimely Stars ar e inauspicious’, same will be transmitted to account of those from 9 Ki d erived annual- and monthly Stars. Anyway, as a consequence, and where Flying Star Feng Shui would as such deem Star 2 untimely and Star of Sickness, then furthermore Star 8 timely and Star of Wealth, we’d have seen books or teachers to transmit same to concern of annual- or monthly Stars 2 and 8 derived from 9 Ki. That’s grave fault, as there’s no such thing as annual- and monthly Stars ‘untimely’ and I can’t wait to show you why.
