A N E X P E R I E N C E I N S P I R E D BY M U S I C Aria Hotel Budapest is a luxury boutique hotel with an exquisite design inspired by music. To compliment the musical concept, designer Zoltan Varro’s vision was to simultaneously recreate the rich, lavish atmosphere of a historic Hungarian palace while embracing visitors in the warmth and comfort of a private residence. Each of the four wings is dedicated to one of four major music genres: Classical, Opera, Contemporary, and Jazz. Each room and suite features caricatures by internationally acclaimed artist Joseph Blecha to celebrate the world’s greatest musical legends such as Maria Callas, Count Basie, Bob Dylan, James Brown, Whitney Houston, the Beatles and Hungary’s own Franz Liszt.

IN THE HEART OF THE CIT Y CENTER The Aria Hotel sits on a picturesque street next to the majestic Saint Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest’s city centre on the Pest side of the Danube. With the river and the Chain Bridge just a short walk away, the Aria offers the ideal location to explore Budapest on foot, by tram or by bus. The area around the hotel offers pedestrian streets with numerous cafes, restaurants and terraces. What makes the Music Garden courtyard such an architectural marvel is the oneof-a kind glass enclosure, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside, allowing guests a clear view of the sky and stars above, while remaining climate-controlled for perfect comfort in any season. The first of its kind in Europe, this unique glass ceiling is exceptionally beautiful both for guests looking upward toward the hotel rooms or for guests looking down into the Music Garden from their private balconies, since there is no metal support to disrupt the view. Other unique features, such as the piano key floor tiles and the LED imaging screen, grace the Music Garden with a whimsical, yet sophisticated style.

After exploring the city, Satchmo’s is just the spot for you to unwind, meet with friends, or mingle with the local crowd. Choose your groove, from the lively, glamorous retro bar to a quiet and romantic spot by the fireside lounge - or dine al fresco with cool drinks, hot jazz, and casual dining served on the garden terrace. The Satchmo’s Bar is a real cosmopolitan bar, which was given a slight feminine touch. The walls are covered with turquoise colored real silk velvet, where dozens of white mirrors and picture frames imitates the boudoirs of Hollywood film and musical stars from the 1940s. Our guests can have their meals and drinks throughout the day by sitting in comfortable armchairs enjoying the warmth of the centrally-located fireplace. The Satchmo’s Library models the atmosphere of a pointedly masculine study room. However, this place is perfect for a low-key business lunch.

For casually sophisticated bistro-style dining, Stradivari is inspired by the exquisite beauty and perfect quality of the world-renowned violin. Guests are invited to experience a sense of privacy and elegance, whether it be for a luxurious breakfast, a business lunch or an important romantic dinner. S T R A D I VA R I ’S FA R M - TO - TA B L E CO N C E P T We work with local farmers to ensure all the ingredients for our dishes come from small, artisan producers who take great pride caring for their livestock and produce. In our kitchen you will find homemade jam, honey from a protected forest region, milk and yogurt from a small farm, and even goat cheese from a shepherd who plays jazz to his goats. Located just off the Music Garden Courtyard, it is perfect for guests to visit during the Aria’s afternoon wine & cheese reception or after dinner. Teatro Aria, which accomodates up to 60 people reception style is also available in various arrangements to suit your social and business needs. Our “Stairway to Heaven” will take your guests even higher, to two panoramic terraces, we like to call our “Love Nests”, where visitors will be dazzled by 360 degree views of beautiful Budapest. H I G H N OT E S K Y BA R A NOTE ABOVE THE REST The High Note SkyBar is one of the highlights of your stay at the Aria Hotel Budapest. This is a full-service, lushly landscaped rooftop garden designed for your personal dining, cocktails, and sunbathing pleasure, all while reveling in the breathtaking views of Budapest and St. Stephen’s Basilica. The garden consists of five parts. It has two pavilions that can be fully opened in the summer; however, our guests can enjoy the beautiful view even in the winter season owing to the glass walls. A bar operates at this point, with a glass counter, which looks as if our guests could enjoy the ever flickering lights of a 1,000 tiny tea lamps. Our guests can enjoy a dinner composed by our chef, while surrounded by the most panoramic view of Budapest. The third part of this space is an open garden, where our guests can enjoy the cool shades of romantic curtained cabanas during the day, while in the evenings they can have private dinners with friends. One of the special features of the house is located here, a 10-person bar table installed above a glass roof, through which our guests can enjoy the sight of the 6-storey high, circular staircase of the hotel. A really exciting and arresting sight! Another architectural curiosity takes us to the fourth and fifth parts of this space, to the two VIP terraces providing unforgettable entertainment 20 people each. A glass spiral staircase takes our guests to these terraces, which is elevated above the interior atrium of the hotel, and from which point the interior of the whole hotel can be seen through the glass roof of the Music Garden. These two terraces are ideal venues for wedding parties, receptions, private events, where our visitors are provided five-star services while enjoying an exceptional view.
