Printer name:
The specific name of the printer in the form: PRTXY**** PRT = Pr inter X is the initial of the country ( X = F(Fr), D(Ge), E(Sp), U(Uk)) Y = 0 (Standard Printer ) Y = R (R eference Printer: These devices are used to test the Natco specific installation. Field Engineers are not allowed to maintain/touch these devices without authorization) xcetional Printer: these devices have Y = E (E modification(s) on their configuration for specific use case) Y = S (S ubcontractor Printer: All devices located in Subcontractor areas have to be tag as such a device. It doesn’t matter whether Airbus employees or subcontractor work with these devices ) Y = L (Label Printer: These are all devices from all manufacturers that can print labels. These devices are not in scope of Xerox ). **** is a number beginning with 10 ( printer names from 0 to 9 are reserved for testing ) and incremented with each new purchase order). Y = V (V IP Printer ) Y = T (T est Printer )
Printer location:
The location of the hardware, in the form "Country-Site-Building-Floor-Office" (e.g. Fr-Tls-D01-2-A01 for France Toulouse Building D01 2nd floor Office A01). You must use exactly: "Country-Site-Building-Floor-Office" with the following Country Sites: Germany Bremen = Ge-Brm Germany Hamburg = Ge-Hbg Germany Stade = Ge-Std Germany Buxthude = Ge-Bux France Blagnac (Blagnac Central Entity) = Fr-Bgc France Toulouse = Fr-Tls

The clone files names use the following mask: AIDHCPXF_PRT Y78xx_Firmware_Release.ext AI = Airbus Industrie DHCP = Network protocol used for the clone XF = Options (NF = digital fax, AF = analog fax, CF = Common for digital and analog fax) PRTY = Pr inter with the letter of the country (Y = F (Fr), D(Ge), E (Sp), U (Uk)) 78xx = Xerox Model (3635, 5225, 5325, 7428, 7525, 78xx, …) Firmware = Firmware Release Release = R5-A (for the current one R5 is the major indicator, and A is the update indicator) Ext = file extension (dlm or dat)

2 Detailed setting procedures
Useful information
Software version required: 071.0x0.103.14600 071.010.103.14600 (7830-7835) 071.040.103.14600 (7845-7855)
"Factory" password of the system administrator : "admin" as the User Name "1111" as the password
Diagnostic mode: Press and hold down the "0" key on the numeric keypad of the printer control panel for at least 5 seconds, then press the button " Start" (green button). Then inter the number "6789" and confirm on the login screen.
Factory Reset by the Altboot method: Get a USB key Create a folder “ALTBOOT” at the root level. Inside this folder create an empty document “FORCED_UPGRADE” without file extension. Copy the upgrade firmware file (dlm extension) to the folder “ALTBOOT” Turn OFF the printer and plug in the USB key to the USB socket of the front side. Turn ON the printer Do not turn OFF the printer before a request from it.
Factory Reset by control panel of the printer : Enter diagnostic mode Select the "Adjustments" tab Go to "dc301 NVM initialisation" Copier Parameters In "Domain" select "Copier " Press "Initialize" (twice time) and wait Network Controller parameters In "Domain" select "Network Controller " Press "Initialize" (twice time) and wait Go to "d131 Read / Write" Enter "NVM ID 616-014" and press "Read" Press "Value of system install phase" Enter value "2" and press "Write" Press "Close" Press "Call Closeout"

Keep « For Admin Only »
And Save. The window will be updated
You can choose to « Block Local Control Panel »
And start the “Remote Control Panel ”
