Características de la tecnología AM
La tecnología AM puede utilizar los modos de modulación QPSK, 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM y 256QAM El mínimo modo de modulación (tambien llamado “modo de referencia”) y el maximo modo de modulación (tambien llamado “modo nominal”) que utilizará AM puede ser configurado Cuando los modos de modulación de AM son conmutados, la frecuencia de transmisión, recepción y espaciamiento de canal no cambian Cuando los modos de modulación de AM son conmutados, se adopta la conmutación paso a paso Cuando AM cambia el modo de modulación a uno mas bajo, los servicios de baja prioridad son descartados pero no ocurren errores de bits en los servicios de alta prioridad
