Malaysia education system •
Education in Malaysia is overseen by two government ministries. xam oriented system has long time been practised whether in the school or at higher educational level. +t is common to see that students learn to rote memoriation as preparation to pass in the examination. As consequences, the graduates ability to apply nowledge in the worplace becomes an issue to be debated. This has led to the loud calls for the new authentic learning environment that may increase students ability to apply nowledge, sills and at the same time promoting students with higher order thining levels such as problem solving and critical thining sills. /ithin this, the need on educational improvement is seem crucial and this should be done from the grass root levels. Therefore, student centered learning using #0123M 2A4' 3A05+56 approach is suggested to be introduced in integrated living sills sub$ect. The model will be designed to focus on monitoring and assessment methods in fostering student continous development in three domain areas of nowledge, technical and persomal sills. Moreover, this methods is believed to be able to incorporate lifelong learning and self directed di rected learning sills that helps student to maintain in our educational system. Thus, the study aims to loo into the possible ways of adopting #0123M 2A4' 3A05+56 monitoring and assesssment methods into existing practices in lifelong learming settings.
