Visual subliminal messages are designed to be unnoticeable by the conscious mind, yet still perceived by the subconscious mind. They are not consciously recognized because either the subliminal messages are camouflaged or presented so quickly that there is insuff insufficient icient time for them to be comprehended. The purpose of using them is to bypass the conscious mind and submit messages directly to the subconscious mind. The reason for doing this is to influence the subconscious mind a nd introduce positive changes in a person’s beli efs and consequent behaviour. May 2010 December 2009 In the case of a static image that contains a hidden subli minal message, the message may not be noticeable even i f it is viewed for many hours. The subconscious mind has a much greater ability to understand the message. Dynamic visual subliminal messages are presented as short phrases that can appear in any small area of the display almost imperceptibly. The content of the messages is crucial and there are points that should be observed in creating subliminal messages properly,
such as ensuring negative phrases are avoided (e.g. “I “I will not overeat”). overeat”). Video recordings availa ble in DVD, VHS or MPG formats formats are static static and are highly unlikely to contain visual subliminal messages. However, it is more than possible to create them or modify existing existing recordings to embed persuasive messages in selective video frames. In contrast, computer software programs are available that can present dynamic subliminal visual text messages. messages. They are designed to p resent messages dynamically on a computer monitor without interfering with other tasks being performed. Although au dio subl imina l messages are perce ived at a slower rate than visual messages, no attention is required by the listener. The fact that the brain is designed to process images more more rapidly is an advantage in using visual subl iminal messages. More visual information information can be presented to the subconscious mind in a shorter period. The benefit is that it may take less time to introduce the subconscious changes desired, even though attention to the displayed messages is required. Visual Subliminal Software Programs
September 2009
Using a computer program to display visual subli minal messages allows other tasks to be performed at the same time, such as creating a document, a spreadsheet, or simply accessing information on the Internet. Any sublimi nal software program shou ld incl ude certain features that are easy to use and effective. It should be possible to control the content of the messages, how long they are displayed, and how frequently they are presented. The producer of the software software should also provide various templates for desired goals (e.g. losing weight, self-esteem, etc.). A template contains a list of displayed subliminal text messages. When selecting computer software that presents visual subliminal messages, attempt to ensure that it has at least all of the following characteristics: Message templates templates should be provided All message s should be e ditabl e Screen presentation presentation should be adaptable Message location should be selectable as either random or static Contrast controls controls should permit video adjustment adjustments s Interval timing of messages must be adjustable Duration of messages must be adjustable Characteristics Character istics of messages should be modifiable Background music should should be availabl e Control of message font size should be permitted How the program starts starts up should be controllable Visual messages can be presented faster fast er than audio messages and are considered to be more effective. This is because the visual system of the brain can absorb more information in less time. Visual subliminal messages can be pre-recorded pre-recor ded on video tape, DVDs or one of the available video file formats such as MPG. There would be other static static or dynamic images presented to mask the subliminal text messages. messages. These recordings recordings can be replayed repeatedly but you have no control over the subliminal content or how its presented. You can also choose subliminal software programs that that give you the power to control the message content, the the background music, displayed images or animations, timing timing and other features. Audio sub limin al or suprali minal messa ges do not require that you keep you r eyes open. This is not possible with visual subliminal messages and you must be actively viewing the screen in order in order for the messages to be perceived. For people that spend considerable time in front of a computer this is ideal because it doesn’t interfere with work or entertainment. Another benefit is that since the visual messages are displayed so qui ckly, other other people will no t notice that you you are doi ng this. Background music can always be turned off so that no one will be disturbed by it or you can use hea dphones. You can also l isten to a different audio source that delivers subliminal or supraliminal messages at the same time. time. (c) Copyright – B. James Kudlak. All Rights Reserved Worldwide.

Creating Subliminal Sound Tracks Thursday, F ebruary 10th, 2011 at 12:25 am

Subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal audio recordings require creating a sound track. The purpose of this audio trac track k is e ither to mask messages, promote a state state of relaxation or potentially both. This is extremely important in how the subsequent audio components are built and their effectiveness. Since the sound or masking track is usually most audibly predominant in a recording, it is important to to know how to create, select or generate one in the best way possibl e. There are two basic ways to consider a masking or sound track. The first is from the listener’s perspective, and the second from the creator’s perspective. Since you are the creator of the recording, it is vital that you understand both what a potential listener expects and prefers, as well as what your own requirements are for a masking or sound track track.. Subliminal Sound Tracks – What the Listener Expects The listener obviously expects that the recording will be of a high quality and

Secondary Masking Track Audio Sounds Even though these are wise choices, a secondary sound track should also be mixed with them. The reason for this is to provide random sounds that render the track more interesting to the ear. A suggestion is to incl ude add itiona l nature sound s such as different types of birds or insects. Relaxing and soothing is important, but there there is n o reason for the sound track to seem so consistent that it becomes boring to listen to. If you were to choose two primary types of nature and two secondary types, then after mixing, you would have four available selections for use as your sound or masking track. This should be your minimum core group to use, but if you increase the number of primary or secondary sound types, it becomes more difficult to manage and you should not exceed eight. Keep in mind that this this is onl y the sound or masking track, and you still need to create create and manage message and brainwave tracks (if used). used). Classical music sound tracks are are also appeal ing but it is important that you choose those that are not overly dynamic. By this it is meant that there there should be few high and lows and the general sound and tempo is consistent. A soft and gen tle concerto by Beethoven or Bach is acceptable, but the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky is far too dynamic. Also, if you choose to use classica l music for your sound or masking trac tracks, ks, there there is no reason to mix them with a secondary track containing random sounds of nature.

The reason for this is that most classical music tracks are already reasonably consistent yet still still sound i nterest nteresting. ing. Sound Track Sources As a recording creator, you also nee d to decide whe ther to obtain your sound or masking tracks from other sources, generate your own with software programs, record them yourself or perhaps a mixture of all three. If you choose to obtain free sound clips or pay for pre-recorded sound tracks, you must be cautious in ho w you select them. Many available relate to nature sounds and those that are free are usually very short in length and of poor quality. It is highly recommended that you do not use free short audio clips in your sound or masking track because of this. Although usu ally li mited to nature sounds, another option is to obtain software that can generate sound or masking track tracks s of any l ength that you can customize in virtually an infinite number of ways. The advantages to this is that the generated sound track will be exactly what you design it to be, involve no royalty fees, fees, be of high qual ity, and never have embedded subliminal messages. You may also select to record your own sound tracks but this can be somewhat of a challenge. It requires the correct environment, environment, good recording equipment and some patience. Whether Whet her it involves nature sounds or classical music, the sound or masking track that you incorporate into your subliminal, supraliminal supraliminal or parali minal recording should be acceptable to your potential potential l istener and be within the l imits of your resources resources as a creator. You also need to decide if it is best to record your own sound track tracks, s, use prerecorded ones or use soft software ware to generate them. Striving Striving for a balance between what options you provide your listeners with and what is manageable for you should be your goal. (c) Copyright – B. James Kudlak. How to Design and Create a Relaxation Message Script Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 at 11:01 am

Two types of recordings that you may choose to create require including a relaxation audio segment. Supraliminal or paraliminal audio recordings should have an introductory audio segment that both physically and mentally helps the listener enter a relaxed state. This article discusses the best way to write a relaxation script and how to properly use it in your recordings. There are different different aspects to designing a relaxation script and you shoul d strive to achieve the desired effec effectt for your listener and hel p them in every manner to enter a relaxed state. Once recorded, your your relaxation audio segment can li kely be used when creating other recordings, but you must first ensure that it has the desired effect. There are two features features you shoul d consider whe n writing a relaxation message script. The first is to use statements statements that will help the listener physically relax, and the second is to optionally introduce statements statements that allow them to mentally relax.

One method of doing this is to verbally walk the listener through each major body area, direct their focus focus on it and suggest that it is now becoming relaxed. By having the listener enter a physically more relaxed state, it is likely that they will become more receptive to the target messages that follow. But this is possibly not enough, in that although they may be relaxed p hysically, you should consider addressing the issue of mentally relaxing them. This is optional and possibly not necessary for some of your potential listeners. For For certain cert ain peopl e, they may be able to relax their body, but their mind can still be active with concerns about the events of the day a nd perhaps h undreds of other thoughts. For others, others, once their body i s relaxed they may al so become mentally relaxed, but this is not always certain. As a result of bein g physical ly relaxe d, your target listene r may not requi requi re more than a few statements that suggest they become mentally at ease. These messages should be carefully written written and in a gentle and considerate manner. Your goal should be to suggest that they they are mentally in a good place, are comfortable, comfor table, safe and feel wonderful. To assist you in doing this, some some suggested statements that can help your listener enter this state are provided below. You are now feeling calm and comfortable comfortable You will li kely be able to write and consider includi ng additional message statements statements that target target mentally relaxing your l istener. But you you should be careful in how many statements stat ements your final relaxation script includes. You should seek to keep your relaxation segment to at most most a few minutes and this would mean writing from 30 to 50 relaxing message statements. statements. This includes both message statements statements for physical and mental relaxation. Message statements statements written written to assist in physically relaxing your l istener should represent the the major content of your relaxation script. Including others that will aid in mentally relaxing your listener is also suggested. Additional Addition al Methods Me thods to Inducing Inducing Relaxation Rela xation Your relaxation message script will ideally have two effects effects in that it permits permits the listener to embrace a gradual state of physical relaxation, and also that it optionally promotes a mental state of relaxation. Either or both is desirable, but you must also consider the effects of accompanying sound or brainwave tracks designed to enhance this effect. A relaxing so und track or brainwave track used used in your recording will also aid to help your listener relax, both physically and mentally. These are equally important for helping your listener, but just different. There is a degree of overlap b etween your recorded relaxation messages and sound and brainwave tracks. tracks. It may make no difference in the effect produced, but each has a purpose in attempting att empting to quiet the mind of the listener and pe rfor rforms ms it in a unique manner. An introductory relaxatio n audio messa ge segmen t in your recording wil l attempt to to guide your li stener into a more receptive state, state, but this this will only be for a few minutes. Sound or brainwave audio trac tracks ks will attem attempt pt to enhance or sustain this relaxed state for almost the entire duration of the recording, but in a different manner. It may take several attempts to create an ideal relaxation message script, but it will likely be worthwhile because your listener will a ppreciate it more, more, and you can likely reuse the relaxation segment in other recordings. In conclusion, you should design and write your relaxation scripts in a positive manner, and understanding the differences between physical and mental relaxation will onl y ensure that your listener is more able to embrace the subject messages of your recording. There are other aspects to the listening experience you should consider if you wish to optimize the effect the recording has. This article addresses and explains several overlooked important points of listening properly. Assuming the recordi ng you have created or obtai ned is desi gned an d constructed appropriately, it will have specific characteristics characteristics,, depending on what type of recording it is. How to Listen to a Subliminal Audio Recording The principle with a subl iminal recording is simple in that there is a message track presented at an almost inaudible l evel. This track track is mixed with an additional sound track trac k that masks the messages and is appealing to the ear. This type of recording recording is designed so that you can listen to it at anytime, because it does not require you to be

Lastly, if you have the option, select a masking sound track that is acceptable to you. How to Listen to a Supraliminal Supra liminal Audio Recording As you are likely aw are of, supralimina l recordin gs use message an d sound tracks that are completely audible. In addition, they almost always contain initial relaxation message segments. They are designed to introduce a state of relaxation so that the messages that follow are more readily a ccepted by the subconscious mind. This assumes that when you choose to listen to them you are prepared to become relaxed. This point is sometimes forgotten and by this it is meant that you you need to schedule a time to listen to the supraliminal recording. Even if you can only relax for a short time and perhaps only for 15 or 30 minutes, this this is much more effective effective than listening to i t when you are not able to relax. You should al so provide yourself with not just the time, but the the environment in which to li sten. Your preferences preferences may involve a relaxing bath, lounging in a chai r, or stretched stretched out on a couch. As long as you are comfortable comfortable and can eliminate conscious distract distractions, ions, your listening e xperience should be satisfying. How to Listen to a Paraliminal Audio Recording Paraliminal recordings can be highly effective but only if they are listened to in the correct way. As with a supraliminal recording, scheduling a nd preparing for a period of relaxation is important. But with with a paraliminal recording, you should an ticipate listening for an extended period of time, and perhaps several hours. Also, because a para limin al recordi ng incorp orates multiple stereo tracks, messages are presented to both left and right channel s. This may likely inclu de brainwave track tracks s

Using stereo headphones to listen to a paraliminal recording is not only suggested, but is required in order to achieve the best results. The embedded b rainwave entrainment track presents tones of different frequency to each of the stereo stereo channels and will have no effect unless both are audibl e at the same time. As with a supralimi nal recordi ng, you should p rovide you rself with a comfortable environment in which to relax whil e listening. Ideally, this should be at the time when you retire for sleep. You should also ensure that the the stereo headphones you use fit comfortably, comfortably, deliver high-quality sound and will not slip off your head while you are sleeping. Obtaining a set of quality stereo stereo headphones is an excellen t investment investment if they can help you achieve the goal that you have chosen. Achievi ng the benefits of what a sublimin al, suprali minal or para limin al recordi ng can offer off er is only the be ginning o f a listening experience that ends in your ears. And what messages are del ivered to your ears is depe ndent on how you ch oose to embrace them. Ideally, in a manner that has the greatest effect. What is a Subliminal Message – Defining Subliminals Monday, February 14th, 2011 at 2:52 am
Featured Resource Recent Popular Posts
Before considering how to create subliminal messages to help oneself or others, it is important to define exactly what is a subliminal message. Understanding how and why they can be used to introduce ideas and changes at the subconscious level and affect people in a positive manner is extremely important. A sublimi nal messag e is any type of information informat ion or signal that can be presented to the human mind below the normal level of awareness. Subliminal is defined as: “Not rising above the threshold of consciousness; designed to act on the mind at a subconscious level”. (Webster’s Encyclopedic Dictionary) Subliminal i s derived from “sub” (meaning below) and “limen”, (Latin for threshold). Subliminal Message Perception and Types Subliminal messages can actually be heard or seen and a re either at a low volume, presented extremely extremely quickly or visually masked.

It is unlikely that there there will be conscious awareness of them unless paying e xtr xtremely emely close attention. The two major types of subliminals are visual messages and audio messages.. messages The messages are within the limits of physical perception, but below the level of normal consciousness. If created created and d elivered properly, they are received di rectly by the subconscious mind. Their potential potential powe r exists because the subliminal messages are not censored or judg ed by the consciou s mind. This does not mean that any subliminal message type will be accepted by the subconscious mind.

This is why i t is necessary to present messages that bypass the conscious mind and introduce subconscious subliminal messages. The Subconscious Mind and Subliminal Subliminal Mess ages The subconscious mind is almost the reverse of the conscious mind in that it acts as a storehouse stor ehouse for all the events and experiences en countered throughout a lifetime. The details of these memories memories can be accessed and this has been proven by placing subjects into a state state of hypnosis and using hypnotic age regression. The subconscious is only capable of very simple reasoning and most of what is entered into it is i nterpret nterpreted ed almost literally. It is not able to analyze what is submitted to it but is more than capable of remembering remember ing it. This can be either of benefit or detrimental detrimental to your well-bein g and a past experience that had an emotional eff effect ect may still influence the present. If past experiences, either positive or negative remain unaddressed in the subconscious then they may have an effect that is projected into the present. The subconscious will att attempt empt to maintain the current state of programming for a person. If they have had past experiences that have programmed the subconscious to expect lack, ill-health, loneliness or many other characteristics, then the subconscious will att attempt empt to keep the person in such a stat state. e.
until it receives new programming. It It may also contain d efense mechanisms that may make it more difficult for some types of subliminal messages to be accepted. This is usually depende nt upon the personality and the more indepe ndent, selfselfcontrolling, self-empowered or free-spirited a person is, the more difficult it is for their subconscious to accept change. Fortunately, Fortunately, if the subliminal messages are designed properly, this is reasonably simple to overcome. Understanding the precise definition of a subliminal message is likely l ess important than the potential benefits they they can provide a nd instead of debating the definitions or origins, it is likely far more productive to simply focus on how to create subliminals to help yourself or others. How Long Should a Subliminal Recording Be? Monday, February 7th, 2011 at 2:48 am
Featured Resource Recent Popular Posts
Choosing the length of a subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recording i s an issue that is most often misunderstood. There are several topics related to this such as the length of the message script, message track and how they should be buil t. It is to your advantage and your potential listeners that you understand these issues before designing and buildin g your recordings. recordings. Each type of recording requires an audio message track which is created using the message script that you should a lready have written in the best way possible. There are other articles articles availabl e that describe how to do this properly, and it is suggested that you read further about using the proper tense, permissive and di rective statements, stat ements, first first and second person perspectives, avoiding nega tive words or phrases and various others. December 2009 September 2009
This usually requires having al ready created message segments segments with both female and male voices. Instead Instead of sequentially combining them, they they would be inserted in parallel into the left and right audio channels. The advantage of doing so is that the the listener will hear all the messages twice within the same length of time. Repeating the the Mess age at the Subject Level In order for a subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recording to achieve the target goal of introducing change to the subconscious mind, the messages provided must be repeated. This is done on differ different ent levels and it is important to both understand and accomplish this in the best way possible. At the the basi c level, the message scripts you design wi ll contain statements statements that are similar and address the goal desired. These could relate to success, fitness, relationships or any number of topics. The important point is that at the subject level, they target the same goal but from different perspectives. For example, if the desired goal involved weig ht loss, there are several aspects to consider. This could involve proper eating habits, motivation motivation to e xercise, loving oneself and likely other issues. Even though the statements statements will be different, they they should be designe d so that they address the same target issue but from different angles. This form of repetition at the subject level is extremely important and should always be a consideration when designing your message scripts. Repetition Repetitio n at the Track Level
At the the next level , these these recorde d or generated au dio messag e statements will be combined when build ing the final message track. track. By doing so, another level of repetition is provided and this is accomplished by sequentially mixing the audio message segments or as suggested suggested previously, combining them in parallel using both left and right audio channels. The message segments segments you have recorded or gen erated should be mixed i n the best manner to build the final a udio message track. This may involve using different voices segments but regardless, the statements should be repeated several times as a group. Repetition Repetitio n at the Listener Leve l Once the audio message trac track k has been buil t, there there is only one more layer that involves repetit repetition. ion. This is up to the listener and ho w they decide to play the recordings that you have created for them. They can easily choose to set their playback device to repeat the recording and this should be suggested to them. Although the le ngth of the message track is recommended to be approxima tely 30 minutes, this this can be increased if desired. However, this is not necessary because the messages presented are al ready repeated several times and the final recording can easily be set to play back continuously, perhaps even for many hours if prefer preferred. red. Also, this represents only one l istenin g session, and it is like ly that the the listen er will be playing the recordings frequently and possibly for weeks until the desired subconscious changes take effect. A recording of greater leng th also require s addition al storage space , and although this may not matter for a few recordings, it will have an impact if you are creating many recordings. Remember that it is necessary not only to store the final recordings, but each of the tracks trac ks used in building them as well as the au dio message segments. Sound and Brainwave Tracks in Recordings Once you have built the audio message track, track, the audio segments for sound or brainwave audio track tracks s will have to be created. Depending on the type of recording recording that you decide upon , it may require additional effor effortt to either record or generate these. The length of any additional sound or brainwave tracks should should be de pendent on the length of the final audio message track. If the the final audio message trac track k was built so that it was approximately 30 minutes in len gth, then then the accompanying sound or brainwave tracks should be created so that they are also of the same duration. The reason for doing this is to ensure that the the final recording provides a s many helpful messages as possible.
brainwave tracks were 35 minutes in length, this can be a potential problem. In this case, there there would b e five minutes of time in the recording in whi ch no messages would be presented to the listener. Other than having the effect of perhaps relaxing the listener, no messages messages would be presented and obviou sly have no effect in helpin g them. You have many options when designing and building a subl iminal, supraliminal or paraliminal audi o recordings. One of the the most important important is deciding on the length of the recording. The duration duration of your final recording should be ali gned with the initial message audio track trac k and any or all of the additional sound or brainwave tracks. Doing this will on ly serve to help your listeners and increase the value that you receive from them. (c) Copyright – B. James Kudlak. All Rights Reserved Worldwide.

Side Effects of Cr eating Brainwave Brainwave Audi Audio o Tracks If you choose to create create paraliminal recordings, then then it is very li kely that you will incorporate a brainwave aud io track to introduce an al pha, theta or delta state, or a mixture of these.
January 2011 July 2010 June 2010 May 2010 December 2009
The purpose of a brainwave track is to induce an altered state of mind so that the message track becomes more acceptable to the subconscious. These tracks can be significantly more powerful than simply using a relaxing sound track to achieve this state. You will usuall y have to create and listen to different different versions of brainwave aud io tracks until you are satisfied that you are obtaining the desired effect. effect. When doing this, you should be aware of the two possible consequences. By listening to a brainwave track repeatedly, and even not in conj unction with the message track, track, it can render you so relaxed that you are unabl e to focus clearly on building your recording. You may find yourself listening to the track and forgetting about what you were intending to accomplish. For this reason, it is suggested that you restrict your exposure to any brainwave trac track k to a minimum. Even if the track you are creating is designed to move between different states states (alpha, theta, delta), you need only listen to each segment for at most a few minutes. The other consequence of listening is only relevant if you h ave a neurologi cal condition such as inciden ts of epilepsy or similar conditions. If you have any form of neurological problem, it strongly advised that you consult with your doctor before attempting to expose yourself to brainwave recordings. Doing so may trigger seizures or other undesirable effects. This is not only important to you, but also your potential potential recording listeners and you should provide a di sclaimer in your recording descriptions so that they are aware of this. This will also hel p protect you from a legal perspective.

It is important that you listen to the intermediate versions of your recording, but this doesn’t mean that you you need to do so al l in one session. Pace yourself yourself and review your recording components or revised versions in moderation. In conclusion, building subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal audio recordings can affect you personally. But if you are aware of the potential side-effects and manage yourself appropriately, then then these will not affect you undesirably. Using Standards for Creating Subliminals Friday, February 11th, 2011 at 9:49 am
Featured Resource Recent Popular Posts
Before you begin creating subliminals and mixing your message, sound, masking or brainwave tracks, it is important that you adopt standards with respect to their recording characteristics. Each audio component should be digitally recorded in the same manner so that it is easier to mix your final recording and reuse them in future recordings. Regardless of what method you use to create or mix the different audio cli ps needed for your recording, each has certain attributes attributes relating to the digital audio file type, sample size, number of channels and the sampling rate. Even if a recorded audio clip was not recorded digi tally, it will have to be convert converted ed to digital and the same characteristics characteristics should be used. Why Use Standards to Build Subliminal Recordings? It requires effort on your part to create each audio component and mix them together so that you end up wi th the type of recording recording desired. By adopting standards you will exert less effort in creating your recordings.

The reason for this this is it wil l not be necessary to convert each one into a common format before mixing them. An advantage you g ain by doi ng this is time and the disadvantage is that it may require additional storage space.

If you were to compress each of your audi o segments, then it is possible that you could lose some quality with respect to the subliminal messages as you p rogressively mixed the audio components together. together. Audio Digital Sampling Rates and Sample Size A standard music CD or Compact Disc is a digi tal representation o f the the origi nal and attempts att empts to to reproduce it in the be st way. This This is don e by sampling the original anal og recording at extremely frequent intervals and converting those samples into numbers that a computer sound processor can understand and reproduce. In order to achieve the best sounding digital recording, both the the number of times per second the recording is sampled and the size of the sample are important. For a CD recording, the sample rate is 44,100 times per second (44.1 KHz) and each sample represents a number. That number can have approximately 64,000 different different values and is stored as a 16 digit binary number. It is suggested suggested that you use the same sample rate and sample size when creating each of your recording audio segments segments.. This will prevent any loss of quali ty as you progress to mixing your final recording. Even though it may seem to be inefficient to store your recording segments using these attributes, it is likely to your benefit. The additional sound, masking or even brainwave audi o tracks must be recorded at a high standard. Since you will have to eventually mix all of these components together, together, adopting adopting a standard format will save you time.
May 2010
Using Mono or Stere o Audio Channels It is tempting tempting to record or generate all your message, masking, sound or brainwave tracks trac ks using either one or two sound channels, but this should depen d on the nature of the individual recording component. Using both left and right channels for any audio segment of your recording means that it will require double the amount of storage stor age space. Only certain tracks or mixtures of them should be built in stereo. For audio message clips, it is suggested that they be created only using one track track.. The reason for doing this is that they may be later mixed i n different manners for another recording. You may choose to build an a udio message segment using both left and right channels for one of your recordings. If recorded recorded in mono, then you can easily later combine them in any way desired, but if they were in stereo, then then you woul d have to separate them. Doing this would onl y add additional effort to what you want to accomplish. The secondary advantage is that mono recording segments use only half as much storage stor age a s stereo audio segments. To summarize, summarize, using a standard set of characteristics characteristics when creating your subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recordings will save you time and reduce any effort effort involved i n converting between differ different ent audio form formats. ats. It will also enabl e you to reuse any of the audi o clips that you have al ready created and may desire to use in creating a new recording. The standards you may wish to ado pt when creating your recording components are suggested as follows: Record basic and intermediat intermediate e audi o segments in the WAV format format Suggested digital sample size should be 16-bits The preferred preferred sample frequency is 44,100 Hz. Basic audio message segments should be recorded in mono Following these suggestions should only help you to create create better recordings, recordings, but more importantly importantly to save storage space and to organize your audio recording components more efficiently. The Dark Side of Subliminal Recordings Recordings – Negative Subliminals
Featured Resource Recent Popular Posts

One of the topics that is rarely discussed regarding subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recordings is the da rk side, and that creating one can potentially affect a listener in a negative way. By negative, it is meant that the recording will not help them and perhaps make the target problem or issue become even worse. This may happen accidentally even wi th the best purposes in mind, and regrettably, regrettably, by someone intentionally with the correct knowledge. knowledge. Ideally, the goal of a subliminal or other similar type of self-help self-help audi o recordings is to help the listener in overcoming a specific target problem. problem. If this this is done properly, then then the messages will be positive, delivered in the best way and trigger the subconscious change desired. But the messages may not be designed in the best way and can have a negative effect. effect. This can be done by accident in writing message scripts improperly or even by design by people with ulterior motives. motives. Designing Subliminal Messages the Wrong Way

Each of the message statements statements designed should address the target issue in a positive manner. If the guidelines for doing this are followed as presented in other articles, this this should be relatively easy to do. It is strongly suggested that these design strategies be fully und erst erstood ood before writing an y message script.. Avoiding the use of negative words, script conditional terms and phrases is important important,, but it is po ssible that mistakes can be made. But there is another dark issue regarding creating negative recordings that must be addressed. This This relates to someone wh o has the intention to psychologically control and negatively affect a particular particular person or perhaps a group of people. Using it for the intention of damaging other people in any manner is unethical and likely illegal. As explai ned previ ously, the only difference between a positive and a negative subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recording is the nature of the messages and how they are designed and writt written. en. Ironically, the the best way to design a recording that implants negative messages is to do it in a positive manner. The message statements statements should be designed so that they promote promot e what you would no t prefer. prefer.
May 2010
In other words, the message statements should be designed so that they suggest that the result is desirable. The subconscious mind does not understand between what is good or bad and will embrace any suggestions if they are presented properly. Referring Referr ing to the topic of weight loss, if the recording was intentionally designed to suggest weight gain, then some sample message statements statements would be as follows: I allow myself to to gain wei ght I enjoy eating food at any time I prefer to relax and comfort my body I accept myself at being at a greater weight These statements are obviously targeting the negative aspect of weight loss, but it is still necessary to convince the potential listener that the recording has the effect of promoting promot ing wei ght loss. It is required that the potential listener feel that the recording can d o what is promised. This can be done by engaging their trust so that they seem certain that the recording will aff affect ect them in a positive fashion. To summarize, summarize, the possibility of negative recordings e xists, no matter matter how disliked this idea may be. They may be created with or without intention but it is important that you understand how this can be done. Having an understanding of how this is possible wil l enable you to identify them them and perhaps warn others of the dangers. If you discover such recordings, it is ad visable that you report them. Mixing Subliminal Audio Tracks Thursday, December 31st, 2009 at 5:07 am
One of the most important important aspects when creating either a subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal audi o recording is to ensure that the volume or amplitude of the message, sound, masking or brainwave tracks be set at the correct level. This article discusses what these levels should be and why the quali ty of your your recording depends on it. Although no t exactly the the same as loud ness, amplitud e is closel y related to it and is measured using the decib el scale. Once you ha ve created the supporting tracks to to be used in the final recording, the amplitude or decibel level of each will have to be adjusted before mixing the tracks together. together. How this is done is dependent on the type of recording and is completely different for for subliminal, supraliminal a nd paraliminal recordings. Subliminal Sublimin al Re cordings and Amplitud Am plitude e By definition, a subliminal recording is a mixture of two audio tracks, one presenting the message statements and a second that acts as a masking track. The messages must be perceptible by the brain, but not quite audible to the conscious mind. The The masking track is completely completely audibl e and al so acts to make the recording recording sound more interesting to the ear. When you first build the audio message track, it should be at a normal l evel of volume and this is necessary in order to verify that the message statements have been created properly. It is also important that whether you record your own message statements or generate them using text-to-speech software that they sound consistent. By consistent it is meant that the amplitude or loudness of each statement be at the

The best strategy strategy when creating the message track is to pretend pretend that you are talking to a young child. The masking audio track should also be consistent and be relaxing to the listener. Sound clips that are erratic erratic in volume and have many highs and lows i n loudness are not recommended recommended in any way. Using relaxing music or nature sounds is a much better choice.

But even though both the message and accompanying sound trac track k should be audible, it does not mean that they should be mixed at the same level of amplitude. February 2011 January 2011
How they are mixed is i mport mportant ant and it is suggested that you adjust the amplitude of each track appropriately. If you have created both the message and sound tracks properly, then then they should each be consistent in how they sound. They will l ikely be at approximately the the same level of amplitude or loudness. But before mixing the message and sound tracks together together it is advised that you adjust the amplitude of the message track. The The message statements statements should be audi ble, but they should seem almost like someone was politely and calmly speaking to you as you were falling asleep. If the the message track was created by appl ying the gui delines sugge sted previously for subliminal recordings, then it shoul d be calm, relaxing and consistent consistent.. The same principles apply to the sound trac track k that you decide to include in the final recording. For a supraliminal recording the message track should be reduced i n amplitude by approximately 5 decibels. The reason for doing this is so that even though both the message and sound trac tracks ks are audib le, the message track will sound more comforting comforting to the listener at slightly lower amplitude. Paraliminal Recordings and Amplitude A paralimi nal recordi ng is consi derabl y different than a sublimin al or suprali minal recording. It normally includes three or more different audio tracks instead of the two that are commonly commonly used i n subliminal or supraliminal recordings. The additional track included is a brainwave track and it is designed to induce a relaxed mental state by using binaural tones. The brainwave track must must be created using two channels or i n stereo because it is usually necessary to present different sound frequencies to each ear in order to achieve the desired effect. The desired effect is to induce a state of mind so that the listener experiences an alpha, theta or delta brain experience. By doing so, the listener becomes more receptive to the message statements statements presented in the audio message track. Each of the other audio tracks must also be created in stereo, because if one must be in stereo then the others must also be b uilt in the same manner. The tracks tracks included i n the final recording must always be built using two channels. The three tracks tracks required, message, sound and brainwa ve, should also be adju sted with respect to their amplitude before mixing the final recording. The The audi o message track trac k should be slightly lower in amplitude than the sound track by approximately 5 decibels.
July 2010 June 2010 May 2010 December 2009 September 2009
The brainwave track track should be slightly be abo ve audible perception and be at least 20 decibels lower i n amplitude than the sound track. The The reason for doing this is that the binaural tones presented in the brainwave track can become i rritat rritating ing to the listener and there is no benefit in doing so. Again, the best way to judge the volume or ampl itude le vels of each of the recording components is to listen carefully before you decid e to mix them together. In conclusion, it is hi ghly important that you mix each of your supporting audio tracks in the best way possible. Part of this involves adj usting the volume, loudness or amplitude of them before attempting to mix them together when creating your final recording. Doing this may require additional time, but it is usually worth the effort involved and likely that the recordings you create will be more satisfying satisfying to your listeners. Storage Strategy for Building Subliminal Recordings Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 at 8:01 am
Featured Resource Recent Popular Posts
One of the primary aspects of building a subliminal or related audio recording type involves managing each of the components. Message scripts, masking masking sound clips, brainwave tracks and intermediat intermediate e audio tracks should be organized and stored in an eff efficient icient manner. Adopting a use ful storage strategy makes it simpler to access and review any existing recording component. This is especiall y important when attempting attempting to reuse existing elements for a new and di ff fferent erent recording project. Any reasonab le and effective strategy can be used for storing the componen ts of the recordings. At the the highe st level, a new folder should be created called RECORDING PROJECTS and within this, sub-folders created that reflect each of the categories suggested below. If for example the selected recording target subject was Better Stud Study y Habits, Habits , then the project name could be the same and this is strongly recommended. recommended. By including the project prefix and version number in the file name, it is easier to remember which script is associated with any p articular project. Verbal Messa ge Clips Once the message script is designed satisfactorily, satisfactorily, it will be required to either record it or generate it as a verbal audio segment. In In either instance, it may be necessary to create multiple multiple versions until the de sired quality level i s attained and the target goal should always be of primary importance. importance. Regardless of how the final message script is converted into an audio format, it is important to understand that storing these different differ ent versions is hi ghly important. Verbal message sound clips should be stored in a folder that reflects their function. This is suggested as VERBAL_MESSAGE_CLIPS. This would still be inside the project folder and serve to organize them efficiently. These could be further categorized by separating them by function, as RECORDED_MESSAGES and GENERATED_MESSAGES, depending on how this is accomplished. Intermediate Int ermediate Mes sage Segments In the process of building the final audi o subliminal (or similar) message track, track, it will be necessary to to combine or mix the previously created individual verbal message cli ps in potentially different ways. When doing this, several several intermediate intermediat e versions will have to be created and it is important to save each one accordingly. It is recommended to create a unique sub-folder or directory directory in which to store them. In this way, the basic verbal message clips will not be confused with the intermediate audio message segments that become a mixture of them. A suggestion is to place these i ntermediate aud io segmen ts in a folder or directory named INTERMEDIATE_MESSAGE_SEGMENTS. INTERMEDIATE_MESSAGE_SEGMENTS. Also, each fil e created sho uld b e named so that it incorporates the project prefix and a version number. After mixing them together app ropriatel y, an intermediate version co uld be na med BSH_MESSAGE1.WAV, BSH_MESSAGE2.WAV, etc. Sound and Masking Tracks A sound or masking track is a requiremen t for for any recording type an d must also be managed in a useful manner. As an advantage, the same sound track can effectively effectively be used in di ff fferent erent recordings. For this reason, it is better to create a reasonable number of masking tracks that can be used in any type of recording. However, there there are p ersonal preferences as to what sounds are acceptable and presenting more choices is always advisable. A recommended strategy is to create and maintain a small n umber of sound tracks that can be used with respect to to virtually any of the recordings. A suggested folder for storing them is SOUND_TRACKS, whether recorded or gene rated in any manner. Within the sound track folder, each file can be named according to the type of sound presented, such as NATURE1.WAV, WATERFALL2.WAV, BIRDS3.WAV, etc. Brainwave Audio Track Tracks s A brainwa ve track is only necessary if you choose to create a paraliminal recording and as with the sound or masking tracks, tracks, it will likel y only require creating a few differ different ent brainwave tracks.
These audio tracks should be kept in a separate folder and a sugge sted name i s BRAINWAVE_TRACKS. BRAINWAVE_TRACKS. The brainwave related audio files should be named according to the effectt they are designed to produce, effec such as ALPH A.WAV, THETA.W THETA.WAV AV or possibly some mixture as ALPHA_THETA.WAV. ALPHA_THETA.W AV. Final Recording Versions Once the final recording is mixed by using the message track, sound track and potential brainwave track, it may still not be entirely complete and could require add itional revisions and adjustment adjustments. s. For this reason, creating a folder called FI FINAL_RECO NAL_RECORDING RDING should include each newly created version. These could be named as in the prior example as BSH_FINAL_VERSION1.WAV, BSH_FINAL_VERSION2.WAV, BSH_FINAL_VERSION2.W AV, etc. Although i t may consume more storage space, one or more versions of the final recording in the WAV format format should always be saved. Compressed Audio Versions After creating the final sub limin al, suprali minal or para limin al recordi ng, it is important to consider the importance importance of compressing the audio recording i n order to render it smaller in size while still retaining the same degree of quality. There are several different methods methods availabl e to compress the final recording, and in doing so, a di ff fferent erent result will be created. To accommodate this, it is suggested to create a separate folder or directory named COMPRESSED that includes these. The files within this folder that are compressed may be of different types and as a result have differ different ent file extension s such a s MP3, OGG, OGG, etc. These files could be stored as BSH_FINAL1_COMPRESSED.MP3, BSH_FINAL2_COMPRESSED.OGG, and thus make it easier to distinguish between the original final recording and the compressed versions. Suggested Storage Strategy for Recording Components There are many ways to adopt a stor storage age strategy for creating creating a subliminal or similar audio recording and an optimal one is provided below. Recording Projects (Top-Level (Top-Level Folder) Project Name (e .g. Better Better Study Habi ts – BSH) Message Scripts (MESSAGE_SCRIPTS) (MESSAGE_SCRIPTS) Relaxation Scripts (RELAX) Target Scrip ts (TARGET) (TARGET) Verbal Message Clips (VERBAL_MESSAGE_CLIPS) Intermediate Int ermediate Message Cli ps (INTERMEDIATE_MESSAGE_SEGMENTS) Sound and Masking Tracks (SOUND_TRACKS) Brainwave Audio Tracks (BRAINWAVE_TRACKS)
Final Recording Versions (FINAL_RECORDING) Compressed Audio Versions (COMPRESSED) It is important to to manage each of the components used i n creating the recordings. Using a folder or directory structur structure e to organize recordings and their components can only help to create better better recordings and in an easier manner. (c) Copyright – B. James Kudlak. Guidelines for Downloading Subliminal Masking Sounds
Featured Resource Recent Popular Posts

There are different ways to acquire suitable sound clips to use in a building a masking or accompanying sound track for for a subliminal , supraliminal or paraliminal recording. One option is to download them from from various Internet web sites for free or perhaps at some cost. What features to look for in an acceptable sound clip should be reviewed before deciding on any particular one. The preferred features of an acceptable sound clip are grouped i nto the following categories and each is discussed below: Type of Masking Masking Sounds Availabl e Costs Involved Recording Character Characteristics istics Audio Format Absence of Embedde d Messages

Type of Masking Sounds Available Generally, many many of the sound segments available ha ve been created using na ture sounds. Audio clips of this type are highly recommended, since nature sounds are normally very relaxing to most people. Examples of this could present ocean waves, rainfalls, waterfalls, waterfalls, birds or insects or various other types of sounds. Other Ot her possible types include chimes, bells, classical music, rhythmic rhythmic chanting, or a range of other themes. As long as the recorded soun d clip is rela xing an d soothing , then then it is most likely

There are also many sound clips available if you are willing to pay the cost of obtaining them. These can vary greatly in price but there is no reason to purchase an entire collection of relaxing nature sounds if you only require a few audio clips. Another important consid eration is whe ther there are royalty fees charged if you decided to purchase the sound clips and use them in buil ding your masking or sound tracks. Ideally, there there should b e no charge for doing so, and consequently it is extremely important to understand this. Recording Characteristics of Sound Clips Whether Whet her purchased or free of charge, the recorded clips should have cert certain ain ph ysical characteristics. This relates to the sampling frequency, the sample size, number of channels, and the recording format. format. It is assumed that the recorded clip has been created in a digi tal manner. The sampling frequency can vary greatly, but the preferred choice is 44,100 Hz. which is the same as that of a standard music CD. Although so und cli ps can be created at a lower frequency, anything below 16,000 Hz is likely unacceptable. The sample size is also important in that a 16-bit sample rate provides greater listening quality than an 8-bit sampling rate.

rate is approximately of the same quality as a telephone conversat conversation. ion. One that is encoded using 16-bit sample rate simply sounds better and this is preferred. preferred. Selecting an audio sound clip that has been recorded with two channels (left and right) is a better choice than a mono recording. Although twice a s large in size , the the recordin g may sound better with two different channels and b e more entertaining for the listener. Audio Forma Formatt Although there are vari ous audi o formats avail able , any one chosen shou ld be uncompressed and have been recorded digitally. The preferred preferred type is a recording clip that has been saved in the WAV format. Recordings in the WAV format are uncompressed but still still i n a di gital format. Obtaining Obt aining any type of sound clips that have already been compress compressed ed into an MP3, OGG OGG or other type can make it more difficult to mix audio tracks track s in the final recording. It is possible to compress recording components before before building and mixing the final subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recording, but this this is not recommended. The best time time to apply audi o compression techniques is after the recording recording has been finally mixed. However, if you decide to obtain a recorded audi o sound cli p in a compressed format format (e.g. MP3, OGG), it will have to be decompressed in order to mix it with other aspects of your final recording. This can be reasonably easy to do with the proper audio mixing soft software, ware, but should be avoided if possible. Absence of Embedded Messages No matter where the audio sound segments are obtained from, they they must not contai n embedded subliminal messages. If they they do, then thi s can affect the final recording and i ts ability to help the listener. If you choose to purchase a sound clip or track, track, it is highly unlikely that it will contain any embedded subliminal messages. However, if you download one at no cost then you should consider i t possible that subliminal messages may have been planted in the recorded clip. The easiest way to detect if embedded messages exist in a recording is to simply play the sound clip at a higher volume level and listen carefully. To summarize, summarize, there are various choices avai lable with respect to selecting a prerecorded sound clip. You can down load either free or not so free sound clips that can be used in bui lding a masking or sound track
As long as you cautiou s and observe these gui deli nes, it should be more than possible to find an audio sound clip that meets meets your needs. There are also other options available such as recording or generating your own sound tracks which may be of benefit. (c) Copyright – B. James Kudlak. All Rights Reserved Worldwide.

Designing Subliminal Messages Using Lists Friday, March 4th, 2011 at 1:55 am
Featured Resource Recent Popular Posts
Once you have chosen a subj ect for your subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal audio recording an d studied it, the next step step is to begin designin g the message statements. Even if you have personally experienced the problem, it can still be difficult to start to design statements that will be effective in addressing the topic. Creating both negative and positive li sts relating to the selected topic can help save considerable time. The purpose of the message statements is to reverse reverse negative thoughts and feelings regarding the subject and introduce new ones to the subconscious mind. By first documenting a list of the negative items, it becomes much easier to write positive message statements. Creating a List of Negative Thoughts and Feelings If you understand the chosen topic properly, it should be reasonably easy to write down a list of how someone would feel i f they had the the problem being a ddressed.

But these sample message statements are not refined enough yet. You should al so consider sub-themes related related to the topic, ideal message statement lengths, permissive or directive statements, and using first and second person perspectives perspect ives in order to target the the goal in the best manner. Understanding the subject of your recording is extremely important not only to you, but to the potential potential audien ce as well. Knowing what they feel and don’t want will help you i n designing message statements statements more effectively. An excelle nt and suggested way to do this is by writing li sts of what they don’t want and then converting into a li st of what they they would p refer refer.. Using First and Second Person Perspectives in a Message Script

A sublimin al or simila r type of self-help messa ge script statement can be written in either the first or second person perspective. Messages in the first person refer to statements worded as “I am” and those in the second person pe rspect rspective ive as “You are”. It is important to understand the difference between the two perspectives and whether to consider using either or both when designing message scripts. Message statements phrased as “I am” may not be as acceptable to the subconscious mind of a li stener as those beginning wi th “You are”. The reverse reverse can also be true and it depends greatly on how receptive the listener is to subconscious change, and in what manner. Using the the First Per son Perspective Certain individuals may subconsciously be more comfortable comfortable listening to messages

delivered from the first person perspective. This may be because of their past experiences and perhaps having been repeatedly told that “you “you will never do this”, “you can never be that”, or similar criticisms that become beliefs embedded in their subconscious mind. Subconscious memories of this nature can be carried forward into the present so that anyone stating to them that “You are…” may trigger resistance.

The result could be that they would be hesitant to subconsciously accept any statement that tells them to do, be or act in a certain way when worded in the second person p erspect erspective. ive.

For people with this challenge, it would likely be more suitable to use messages stated stated in the second person, such as “You are successful”. Mixing Both First and Second Person Perspectives Including both first and second pe rson message statements statements in a script is not difficult and strongly suggested. It is only necessary to create two different versions of each statement, one in the first person, and another from the second person perspect perspective. ive. It is also important to present them in an alternating manner and this simply means that the initial statement is in the first person perspective and the one following be in the second person pe rspect rspective. ive. The order can be reversed if you choose and there is no difference in doing so. For example, instead of including only a message statement as “I am successful”, it is suggested to follow this with an additional statement in the second pe rson perspective such as “You are successful”. If a created message script perhaps includes 30 different statements, then just by adding addi tional statements statements in the second person perspective would mean that the the length of the script would be twice the size, or 60 statements. The length of your message script is i mport mportant ant as are other considerations with regard to using present or future tenses, and addressing sub-themes when designi ng the message statements. Messages from the Listener Perspective Fully understanding the mind o f the target listener is almost impossible and consequently, the the best option may be to use both first and second person perspectives

There is no way to be certain that the message script of a recording will be ab le to help a ll potential l isteners. By By targeting one specific type of listener you may be ignoring the other. All message scri pt creation efforts shoul d be focused on designing a message script so that a balance is achieved. Creating message script statements with this in mind may help a greater number of people in different scenarios. This can only serve to make the final recording both more effective effective and acceptable to the potential audien ce. (c) Copyright – B. James Kudlak. All Rights Reserved Worldwide.

A true audio subli minal reco rding ha s a background audio track and a foregr foreground ound audio track that are mixed together to create the final recording. The subliminal messages are contained within the message or b ackground track. This track track is normally a recording o f someone speaking short positive phrases related to the topic for desired change. If the the subject area was related to weight loss, typical messages phrases could be “I eat sensibly”, “I exercise exercise regularly”, “My body shape i mproves with each passing day”, “I eat foods that are good for my body”, and many possible others. It is extremely important that these message phrases be written and recorded properly and guideli nes for doing this are provided. In addition to the subliminal message audio track, there there is also a foreground or masking track that is designed to distract the conscious mind so that you are not aware of the subliminal messages being

James I have been reading through your posts on subliminal recordings and find it to be the most useful useful resource on the web. I’ve also di scovered that subliminal CDs that I have paid a lot of money for, have not observed effective effective principles in the messages. Some Some use “You” instead of “I” and another one hasn’t supplied the messages in written format at all.I believe it is i mport mportant ant to know what messages you are actually receiving. Thank you for your informative informative resource.
