1 CME Single Configuration Operation Guide This section describes data configuration operations. The CME allows you to search for configuration objects, configure a single object or configure objects in batches, and perform other basic operations in the data configuration window.
Searching for and Configuring Configuration Objects Figure 1-1 shows the window for searching for NE managed objects (MOs) and configuring such objects.

1. Select an object view from the left pane of the planned data area, for example, base station. 2. In area 1, select the base station controller, base station, or cell to which a configuration object belongs. 3. In area 2, type the name of a configuration object on the Search tab page, for example, GCELL. 4. In the Object Name column of area 3, double-click the required configuration object. all parameters for the configuration object are displayed in area 4. 5. Configure the data in area 4 and area 5.
TIP: To obtain parameter description for a configuration object, press F1 in area 4 to invoke the Help of the parameters for the configuration object.
Click

Operations for Configuring Multiple Records The data configuration window for objects consists of the window for multiple records and for a single record. Figure 1-1 shows the window for multiple records in area 4 and the window for a single record in area 5. Table 1-1 describes the operations you can perform in area 4 for configuring multiple records.

TIP:
After data is changed due to data import or other interlocked modification, you can update data if the data in the active data configuration window is not automatically updated.
View Some parameter names are long and the CME displays only part of the parameter parameter names. To view a complete parameter name, do as follows: names displayed Place the cursor on the parameter name. The CME automatically displays the full incompletely. name of the parameter.

Filter data.
Widen the column of the table by dragging the separation line between two columns until the full parameter name can be displayed.
Double-click the separation line between two columns. The CME automatically adjusts the column width to display the parameter names fully.
Right-click a data record and choose Export All Data of Current NE Version from the shortcut menu. The CME exports all the NE data in the active current or planned data area that is of the same version as the selected data to a file.
In the data configuration area, select a data record, and click exports all the data of the object under the NE to a file.

Right-click the record you want to copy and choose one of the following items as required:
Copy Record: copies existing data in the selected record and pastes the data to the added record.
Copy Cell: copies data in the selected cell and pastes the data to another file.
Copy Row: copies all data in the selected row and pastes the data to another file.
Copy Column: copies all data in the column where the selected cell locates and pastes the data to another file.
Copy Table: copies all data in the selected table and pastes the data to another file.
Sort data in the current window in ascending or descending order.

The objects that meet the entered filter criteria can be quickly located.

next to the parameter name.
2. Select filter criteria from the drop-down list.
Select a single filter criterion: Select a parameter value from the drop-down list. The CME displays the data that matches the value.
Select multiple filter criteria: Select Custom from the drop-down list. Then, select multiple criteria in the displayed dialog box. The CME displays the data that meets these filter criteria.
CAUTION: The function applies only to the data consisting of numerals, characters, or a combination of them.
Hide parameters.
Characters are case insensitive.
Hide the parameters that you do not need to view in the window.
1. Right-click in the data configuration area and choose Select Columns to Display from the shortcut menu. 2. Clear the parameters that are not required.
Collect statistics about records.
Right-click in the data configuration area and choose Record Statistics from the shortcut menu.
