About Welcome to Chromis Pos & open source Pos applications. Following on my extensive work in supporting open source pos with a large number of additional features and fixes. I have decided to start producing additional applications as extensions to these open source applications, or any other open source POS software that be adapted to use these applications. My changes can be found at www.chromis.co.uk These applications will be released as open source, with the applications released on the SourceForge platform and Github used for the source code.
License Chromis POS is released under GNU General Public License version 3.0 (GPLv3). Under this license this software is provided free of cost “as it is” without warranty. User has full freedom to change the software and redistribute it and also tailor as per their own need. Chromis source code is managed and maintained by John Lewis.

Getting Started Before starting installing Chromis Pos please make sure that your machine is free from any viruses. Chromis Pos Prerequisites: Java version 1.8 which can be downloaded from www.java.com
