Happy. Better discipline. Interesting teaching. Broad Minded. Became social. Improved his life standard. Became friendly in the classes. Became jolly with his colleagues.
Incident after 2 years of Marriage:
Katherine died in 1898. Effects on Chips of Katherine’s death: He became worried, alone, serious, gloomy & careless. Headmasters: Whetherby, Meldrum became the the headmaster. After the death the Mr. Whetherby, headmaster. After the death of Mr. Meldrum, Mr. Chips became an acting headmaster.
Mr. Ralston became headmaster in 1900. Mr. Ralston (Young man of 37 years, Disciplined and strict, Wanted newness in the school) Chip’s Quarrel with Ralston:
Chips don’t like the attitude of Ralston. Ralston was also against Mr. Chips.

Cause 1 teaching, lake of discipline, Chips was an old Chip’s bad habits, his old methods of teaching, fashioned person. person.

Chips’ Resignation:
1913: Chips resigned at the age of 65 years. years. 1913: Fall seriously ill. 1913: The school gave a grand party to Chips. Visit to Germany:
He went to Germany for medical treatment.
Sep, 1913: Came back from Germany.
Disease: Bronchitis.
Rented Room at Mrs. Wickett’s House:
Rented room after returning from Germany. Used to visit the School Brookfield and work for it. Now feeling happy & healthy. Passed his time in reading, novels writing articles, meeting old Brookfield boys, watching games at the school’s play ground.

November 1933: Seriously fell ill. Became unconscious. At last died remembering remembering his:-
