Chapter 13
Dealing with Dissidents - Creating Criminals To be super clear I need to preface this chapter with a declaration that I am not anti-law enforcement nor unpatriotic by any stretch of the most vivid imagination. Further I will go on record to say that the bulk of police officers and federal agents in America are decent, honest people with pride in their ethical standards. Yet most all of these honest and ethical enforcers are found at the bottom half of what I call, the “corruption pyramid”. Essentially I am saying that the young idealistic enforcers of America are ones who follow orders and not give them and they are seldom told why they must arrest certain people, and in fact are often lied to. It is the honest and obedient enforcers that do all the dirty work of doing searches and seizures as well as making arrests. They dare not ask many questions or their loyalty may be called into question. If they see some illegal abuses of authority taking place they will look the other way and remain silent if they want to gradually float to the top of the pyramid with promotions. Those that protest in any way will be passed over while their peers get promoted. Promotions do not come without testing the obedience and loyalty of any given officer. Such a test may include intimidating or beating a witness or suspect, buying or selling some drugs, or perhaps stealing something from the evidence locker. This information I put forth as background information so you can better understand how and why dissidents are dealt with in America by our various governments.
But first understand that most of the honest federal agents eventually come to realize that, sooner or later, they will move up the ladder and expect to become a supervisory manager that will from time to time, become responsible for illegal acts if things go wrong. They will play the role of lightning rods and 243
insulators to take the heat, and if asked, fall on the sword with a resignation if the media gets involved and starts investigating misdeeds of the higher echelons of the executive management. Accepting blame will be part of their new job. This is why many rank and file agents turn down management positions. Their personal integrity will not allow them to become part of the collusion of cover-ups which according to insiders may involve as much as 10% of their investigations.
Senior FBI agents Louis Greever, Mike McDevitt, Bill Allen, and Mike Uttaro, who by their own admissions confirmed are or were all part of the FBI‟s Tactical Operations team, the group that is responsible for covertly breaking into people‟s homes, cars, hotel rooms, offices, etc. to plant microphones, video cameras, etc. to collect evidence in many types of cases that may involve organized crime, terrorism, espionage, or even perhaps dissidents. They seldom see the court orders that were and were not issued when they do a “job” and unless they demanded to see such a court order, they would simply have to take the word of a supervisor who said he/she in fact had one. By now you must know where I am going with this. The Corruption Pyramid Of American Government & The FBI

Problem Starts Here
30% Complicit But Not Necessarily In Agreement 60% Honest But Too Obedient & Quick To Follow Orders Without Question
244
Prior to the passage of “The Patriot Act”, there were “officially” no illegal entries and all such entries had court orders on file. The reality however proved that “official” policy and records quite wrong as any senior Congressman can confirm. Googling the transcripts of the Congressional oversight hearings of 1976 headed by Senator Frank Church, you will get a stomach full of abuses that betray the myth of law abiding federal agents. Court orders were almost always obtained in most high profile cases where the evidence collected was to be used in court. However I know for a fact that no court orders were issued to bug my mother‟s home in Ohio, nor my home in Beijing, and I suspect in cases of monitoring potential “dissidents”, the sheer volume of prospects make court orders an administrative burden.
That is why the “Patriot Act” took care of this inconvenient obstacle – basically giving every federal agent access to your home and mine without a court order. Before the Patriot Act, honest and dishonest agents alike were given assignments to carry out and they simply assume that everything is kosher, legitimate and officially sanctioned. They will follow orders without question and this makes them valuable to the Bureau and potentially dangerous to the public – almost like the Gestapo of Nazi Germany but without the scary uniforms and pre-arrest torture. Let‟s be frank, FBI agents are people like you and me and they are fallible, have vices, and some even commit serious crimes themselves. Unlike our crimes however they are seldom reported in TV news or newspapers. Over 60 FBI agents have been arrested for crimes ranging from being a cat burglar (Agent Frank Tinkel) to be a drug smuggler (Agent Terry Nelson). A few have been dismissed for sexual crimes and “unprofessional conduct” like the Monserrats FBI husband and wife team of Miami who after shooting a mugger to death off-duty in 1987 were forced to admit they just came from a swinger‟s club where they had sex with a variety of other couples. Indeed, even the FBI‟s first and most famous Director was gay, J. Edgar Hoover having a spousal relationship with his personal FBI aide 245
Clyde Tolson to whom he left his estate of more than $500,000 in his will. Some FBI agents were even arrested for spying for foreign governments. In the infamous Joseph Salvatti case, the FBI knowingly allowed an innocent family man sit behind bars for 23 years rather than admit their own mistakes and failure to follow the law and FBI policies.
In 2004 CBS News ran a story about a multitude of FBI agents arrested for crimes, some of which are listed here:
An agent who was abusive to his family and used his FBI weapon to shoot his wife, resulting in attempted murder charges. One agent who was calling sex hot lines on FBI phones while on duty. Several agents who had improper sexual relationships with confidential informants or prostitutes, sometimes in FBI vehicles. One agent pleaded guilty to manslaughter for the killing of a female informant with whom he had "an inappropriate emotional and sexual relationship." Agents who disclosed sensitive or classified material to outsiders, including representatives of foreign governments and criminal enterprises. Firings stemming from drug, alcohol or gambling problems. One agent stole more than $400,000 in informant funds to feed his gambling and drinking problems; another used crack cocaine regularly and was arrested for possession of crack pipes An agent who attempted to sell cocaine to someone who turned out to be an undercover FBI agent. These
agents

Senator Grassley, yet their names cannot be found anywhere on the internet or a newspaper as was mine 246
FBI Agent Ryan Seese caught masturbating in public
when I was arrested for a phony $2,000 bribe. Why? FBI special agent John Yervelli was arrested in Buffalo after exposing his genitals to a motorist. Over 300 FBI agents were arrested within the last decade for DUI. In 2012, FBI agent Ryan Seese was caught masturbating on the campus of University of Arizona and after being arrested and posting bail, was caught in a peeping tom crime. Now he is finally behind bars. FBI Agent Dante Jackson regulary accepted bribes and jewelry from Russian mobsters including Mani Chupalev who ordered the murder of rapper Lil Phat. Those who have the time can Google “Franklin Scandal Pedophile FBI Agent” and read about the whistleblower who was found murdered after reporting an FBI Agent’s involvement in a pedophile ring of wealthy Nebraskans. Senator John DeCamp wrote an expose book called THE FRANKLIN COVER-UP that will truly sicken every American for the efforts made by our government to conceal the worst crime in my judgment – pedophilia. Then there was the FBI Agent who got plenty if ink when he was arrested for spying for Russia – Robert Hansen. But how many of you heard of 25 year FBI veteran Donald Sachtleben seen here > who was arrested for distributing child pornography in 2013? Great efforts are made by the government to not only conceal their failures from the public, but to delete them from the internet. Yet in the case of a dissident they want to smear the propaganda valves are opened wide and as you can see in the cases of Julian Assange, Bradley Manning, Edward Snowden, Michael Hastings, and Susan Lindauer, there is no shortage of negative posts attacking their credibility. The sources of the posts can seldom be tracked down to real journalists that do not receive payments from the feds. 247
So as you can see from the above examples, despite their self-professed claim to righteousness, history has proven that FBI agents are indeed regular folks like the rest of us, who have their own political views, prejudices, and in many cases are vengeful in unsuccessful cases, and will take steps to “flag” people they felt should have been prosecuted, convicted, or jailed – and were not. Now imagine if you are a whistleblower who accuses one of the FBI’s finest senior agents of smuggling drugs for 10 years? Some agents took it downright personal as an attack against them. Others like SA Berthon told me “Give Terry a break”. (See “Deniability) for full story about “Terry”.
The case of now-deceased Aaron Swartz the 26 year old
American who
allegedly committed suicide last year after being arrested by the FBI in his efforts to expose our government „s plan to censor the internet, will never get to tell his full story but you can get most of it at www.techdirt.com. Yet another dissident and whistleblower targeted by our government. False and
selective
prosecution
is
persecution.
Edward Snowden was not the first NSA affiliate to reveal the agencie‟s crimes against Americans and other world citizens. A top NSA Executive named Thomas Drake pictured on the following page also leaked information about project “Thin Thread” to the press in 2006 while documenting how the agency wasted and misappropriated almost a billion dollars of taxpayer money. He went through the proper channels and instead of being rewarded for identifying what many might say was embezzlement, fraud, and misappropriations, he 248
was
promptly
prosecuted
and bankrupted by legal fees. His long 25 year career with Uncle Sam came to an end. No

are
are
the
dissidents I admire most. They do something more than just post criticisms on the internet and provide endless diatribes at the local pub. They actually do something to solve the problem.
If and when honest FBI agents are finally compromised, or set-up by the corrupt colleagues in a case, or come to realize they‟ve been used as an accessory to a crime, they are forever trapped or forced to resign. Most cannot afford to give up the secure income, stability, and pension that comes with a G man‟s job. So they stay, and are pushed up the ladder to the top of the corruption pyramid until they say “Enough” or decline further promotion, at which time they are removed from the loop and given a sideways promotion to a harmless desk job, perhaps in charge of “logistics” or “budget review” or “legal services”. Those that keeping floating to the top are the ones who won‟t think twice about burglarizing or planting bugs inside the Chinese, Russian, or Israeli embassies, or planting incriminating evidence in the homes of “suspects” and known dissidents.
FBI agents have an awesome amount of power… Today they can enter any home or building without any court orders or supervisory approval, question or detain anyone at will for hours, days, or even weeks, bug and video tape what goes on in anyone‟s bedroom, car, or hotel room, carry, guns, shoot to kill anyone they perceive as a “deadly threat”, and remove anything from anyone‟s 249
property if they believe it has any value to any investigation. Again, under the provisions of the relatively new Patriot Act, they can do this all on their own accord at their own will and discretion. This is the same power and authority shared by the German Gestapo of the 1940s. Because of the Patriot Act, privacy in America is now extinct and the each federal agent becomes their own federal judge in determining what is legal and appropriate and what is illegal abuse of authority.
Usually government operatives who are not actual FBI agents per se will be used to when something extremely confidential and dirty has to be done like planting drugs or child pornography in the residence of someone they may want bust at a later date when it is more convenient to do so. Chip Tatum is a “black-bag job” sort of guy who migrated as a pilot from the military into the ranks of CIA operatives, much like drug dealer George Morales who we will discuss in detail later. Chip was asked to fly many secret missions and to violate many laws that you can read about in The Tatum Chronicles, and was once even asked to assassinate multi-millionaire Presidential candidate Ross Perot. When Chip declined, his government service career essentially came to an end. CIA operatives are not official CIA employees who are on the regular payroll and work at Langley. They are “sub-contractors” used for various jobs and officially cannot be linked to the agency. The FBI and DEA have their own undercover operatives and most are convicted felons who will not be believed if they bungle a job and get caught. (See Chapter 29)
But these covert crimes are not reserved for the FBI, and CIA alone. Even the White House gets involved from time to time. The world was first introduced to these black bag operatives in the 70s during the Watergate Scandal when White House aides to President Richard Nixo n, Howard Hunt, John Erlichman and Gordon Liddy were publicly exposed along with the U.S. Attorney General John Mitchell as being perpetrators of crime. They hired black-bag guys – all 250
with links to the CIA to break into the Democratic Party‟s Headquarters at the Watergate Hotel and plant bugs and photograph files for President Nixon. This was simply political espionage.
Later in 1987, we learn that President
Reagan‟s white house and National Security Council orchestrated even a more serious crime – smuggling cocaine using U.S. air force bases, planes, and team of drug dealers working in concert with Lt. Colonel Oliver North and Major John Secord. In the last Bush regime, there were a multitude of criminal acts committed but only one saw the light of day, when VP Cheney‟s right hand man Scooter Libby was caught in the vengeful and criminal act of exposing the secret identity of CIA agent Valerie Plame.
They certainly were not the first, and far from the last operatives hired by various agencies and other elements of our government. In fact today, the ratio of operatives to official agents is close to 1 in ten, and this includes those used for espionage as well. It is common knowledge by the diplomatic core around the world that as much as 20% of all personnel attached to foreign embassies are essentially spies – from any government, not just America.. Of course spies are needed, but every American citizen cannot possibly be suspects! In China you will also find a contingent of FBI agents, who officially have no legal jurisdiction outside of the U.S. and they were not requested by the Chinese government. I only know of the 80 agents that work in Beijing. I have no clue how many work elsewhere. As one of them actually told me in 2012, they are here primarily to spy on Americans, not the Chinese unless the Chinese are suspected of American IP theft and they need to collect evidence. They are looking for Americans that violate the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and they have even formed their own fake trans lation company that lets them sit in on, and secretly record business meetings to keep tabs on what Americans may be doing in China. They also collect data to be used later to coerce cooperation/blackmail businessmen in “other operations”. 251
Two pages withheld pending my final resolution and safety of my family. They also do their break ins in China and pray they do not get caught. If busted in China they would have to spend a fortune to buy their way out or be internationally humiliated with publicity, or wait until the next secret prisoner exchange to come along. This sort of thing is embarrassing to all governments not just to the offending governments since those governments who were victimized would have to admit that their security safeguards were insufficient, or their personnel incompetent.
Again, I present the above background only so you might possibly believe what follows about American dissidents and what I wrote in the balance of this book. Now keep in mind that the Director of the FBI is appointed by the president, making him/her a “political appointee”. The Director “serves at the pleasure of the president” and can only be fired by the same person who appointed them. Think about this…their job security rests with one person in the entire bloody country. No senator nor Congressman can remove them – only complain. So while in office they will please the president and either do his/her bidding or resign, or be told to resign by the President.
William Sessions was a U.S. federal judge who became one of these political appointees in 1987 when he was appointed by President Reagan, and now has the dubious distinction of being the only FBI director ever fired (By President Clinton) for corrupt and unethical excesses that most American citizens would have been arrested, prosecuted. And imprisoned for had they committed the same crimes. You can read about the details of his criminal acts in a great book written by Ronald Kessler titled “Secrets Of The FBI”. Sessions was asked to reimburse the U.S. government thousands of 252
government dollars he basically stole or misappropriated for his personal and family use. If the leader and Chief administrator of any law enforcement agency is violating the law on a regular basis like Sessions was, do you think those under his supervision will be more honest or less?
Sessions was
responsible for the blunders of Waco and Ruby Ridge that caused the deaths of innocent American citizens and tainted the FBI‟s reputation for more than a decade and demonstrated the obedient mindset of the rank and file agents who risked their own lives to defy the official policies of the FBI. Like those who served in the Nazi SS, FBI agents at Waco and Ruby Ridge “only followed orders.” But since nobody really polices the FBI, except their own fellow agents in OPR (Office of Professional Responsibility) only no n-political corruption and collusion will be investigated and stopped. Agent Michael Sheehan of the FBI is renowned for his personal and professional integrity within the FBI as a supervisor of the OPR. Yet he never even replied to my letter in 2002. To me this confirmed what I had always suspected. Political corruption is to be ignored whenever possible or convenient, and only selective criminal prosecution will be pursued in America. So while I may be pursued of a stock fraud that has no identifiable victim nor dollar amount of loss or gain, Scooter Libby was not prosecuted for treason, nor FBI Special Agent Terry Nelson for smuggling over $1 Billion of cocaine over a ten year period in unsanctioned criminal enterprising in Canada/America.
Now then about dissidents… Every country has them and dissidents are a logical phenomena – not every citizen will be happy with the way their government operates, spends tax dollars, or sends their children to their deaths in a fabricated war. But in democracies, freedom of speech and expression allegedly allows for the voice of dissidents to be heard and editorials published in newspapers and even public protests to be held. Americans have always been proud of this right to publicly disagree and over the years more and more Americans disagree with the status quo in our nation. 253
At present more than 70% of Americans are “not happy” with our government according to Gallup and other polls taken. But this does not make them dissidents. To become an “official” dissident by FBI standards you must make “regular attempts to negatively influence or incite other citizens”, “advocate organized efforts to remove government officials,” or “cause adverse publicity or national embarrassment.” This is how an FBI agent described a dissident to me while he unknowingly was talking to one (me) in the Lounge of the Westin Hotel in 2013 as we struck up a casual conversation about Edward Snowden. And according to The Patriot Act, dissidents become “terrorists” if any acts of violence are involved in any act of public or private protest. So imagine some university student protesting with a group of 5,000 others, and police move in with tear gas to disperse the crowd in front of some government building. If any one or more of those citizens defends themselves against an abusive police officer who wears no name tag or badge number during riot control, and whose face is covered (for protection against identification) and swings back at the police, they could legally be dragged off and forever tagged as a “domestic terrorist”. In fact, at all public protests these days in America, citizens are photographed and identified. They are tagged as potential troublemakers and electronically monitored. Just imagine if the British had such technology back in the 1700s. The Boston Tea party would never have occurred and the Union Jack would still be our national flag.
I suppose I officially became a “dissident” in Puerto Rico when I first tried to expose corruption within the Coast Guard and then became one of the organizers of the Dow Chemical protest. But I was probably not perceived as any real threat until Liston Smith and I reported the IRS hit list to the FBI and then I later reported FBI Agent Nelson for drug smuggling. Those actions confirmed my permanent and official status as a “troublemaker” in the eyes of Uncle Sam. My many editorials and United Nations refugee application probably cemented my fate forever. 254
As per the recent disclosures of Edward Snowden, all American citizens are now monitored just as George Orwell predicted we would be way back in 1949 when he wrote the classic novel 1984. Today if three or more American gun owners communicate “regularly” (more than once a month) they are flagged and given extra attention by the FBI. Considering that there are more than 30 million registered gun owners in America, just imagine how many of American are getting extra attention from the feds!
Why? Do they fear a domestic revolt
from citizens – something that would be their right under the constitution if electoral fraud can be proven (and has been proven many times in many voting districts across America). Why else would law-abiding gun owners be monitored in America by an agency whose supreme leader (FBI Director) is a political appointee?
But how a nation, any nation treats their dissidents is a good measure of the integrity of their government and determines if a real democracy is in place, or is just an illusion. In American today and for the last 50 years, dissidents have been looked up by government officials as “them” in an “Us Versus Them” mind set.
If a government official wants to remain in power (virtually all
incumbents) the dissidents must be kept to a minimum, and those that become too popular must be controlled and preferably silenced. By nature, Americans are quite proud and resent being told what to do or say – especially activists and protesters (a.k.a. “dissidents”).
The easiest and cheapest way to remove
the wind from the sails of a dissident, is to remove their credibility so other citizens will be less interested in what they have to say. So the first line of government defense against dissidents is the offensive tactic of smearing a dissident with either real or fabricated information about the dissident spammed all over the internet on popular forums and message boards. So, if someone Googles the name of the dissident they will quickly become disenchanted with their message once they see all the negative postings. Most people will not conclude that all those negative posts come from one or two 255
people paid to smear the dissident. They will not be astute enough to notice the writing styles are similar or the same. When dissidents are neutralized and no longer credible, they no longer pose any threat to the status quo and current government regime.
In my own case, there are over 15 posts on the
internet smearing and bashing me with many unfounded allegations. But since they contain one element of truth (that I am a convicted felon form a 1984 bribery case) the balance of the information posted, although fabricated will easily be accepted as truthful by the uninformed reader.
But what if the dissident has a clean record and no skeletons hiding in their closet?
They will create some. Dissidents will be targeted for fake crimes and
real arrests. They will be pulled over for traffic stops and drugs will be found in their car, and when they protest, “resisting arrest” will be added to the charge sheets. (I have twice found planted drugs and listening devices in my home over the last two decades). They may be arrested for petty offense like “shoplifting” or something a bit more serious like “tax evasion” and the mother of all charges “conspiracy”. The conspiracy laws of America are a famous joke all over the world, but if you get arrested for “co nspiracy” you will not be laughing very long. If convicted for conspiracy you can be locked up in a federal prison for up to fifteen years..
Conspiracy laws are deliberately complex on paper to confuse lawyers and give ample flexibility to prosecutors and judges to convict citizens. What the hell is “conspiracy” you ask? I will keep it simple. Let‟s say two employees of Ford Motor Company are part of 300 veteran employees who get laid off just a few months from retirement and now lose a good part of their pension plan. They go to a bar to commiserate and vent their anger. After a few drinks one guy says to the other “You know Bob I am so outraged I have half a mind that wants to send those bastards in Detroit a message they cannot ignore.” Then Bob replies “Yeah Steve, I know what you mean, they just 256
ignored our two weeks of picketing, and the union has no teeth any longer.” A bystander overhears this conversation and decides that Bob and Steve are going to take some action against Ford Motor Company, and in his own mind he determines the action will be a violent act of some sort. So Mr. Bystander reports this “plot” to the police and the next thing you know, Bob and Steve are sitting in jail cells charged with “Conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism”, wondering where they will get $150,000 to hire a lawyer!
In another more common example, let‟s say you attend a family wedding or high school reunion, and one of your old friends who you have not seen in years drives up in a Porsche and is wearing expensive jewelry and a designer suit. You assume like most people would , that this guy is doing well. You start introducing your old pal “Bill” to your other friends and family and he mentions that his import business” is doing well and he needs to hire a few loyal people who he can trust to expand his business. Some of your friends take an interest and agree to meet up with your old pal Bill later. Bill meets with your friends and tells them that he is importing ancient Aztec, Inca, and Mayan art from South America and Mexico and selling the artifacts for great profits to collectors and he needs people to help him find more sources of art. He invites them to go to Mexico with him so they can learn the ropes and he says that he is so grateful to you for introducing his new help that you can tag along as well as a “thank you” holiday vacation. It is February and you are freezing your ass of in Minnesota so you are delighted to join up with them. You have not a clue you were invited to attend this trip because you publis hed four or five letters to the editor and posted a You-Tube video calling President Bush a war criminal who needs to be prosecuted for using Chemical weapons on kids in Iraq. You also have no idea that your old high school friend Bill just won early release from a 15 year prison sentence by agreeing to work with the FBI in a “sting operation” and you are their target.. He went free after serving one year of his sentence just so you can be discredited and silenced. Of course Bill is not told 257
this. He is told that you are dealing drugs at your old local high school but they could never catch you in the act. Bill now believes you are a criminal.
You all fly to Cancun and have a great time in the local bars and Bill gets local naked strippers to pose with you for some great “souvenir” photos that he pockets, and then gets you totally wasted on Cuervo Tequilla. After you can barely walk and talk he takes you back to the hotel and invites you to try some lines of cocaine after snorting one himself. Whether you partake or not does not matter much but if you do, all the better for Bill and his FBI friends because now a hidden video camera is recording everything in the hotel room as the strippers who were well paid are humping your leg. What you don‟t know is that there is three kilos of cocaine planted inside your suitcase, and within minutes a dozen Mexican police storm into your hotel room screaming and throwing everyone to the floor. You are totally confused but are told to shut up when you start asking questions. The next day you are sober, sitting in a Mexican jail cell with Bill and your other two friends. Bill tells you to relax that he has a lawyer coming to bail him out and he will get you out in a day or two. By this time, someone emails your wife a scanned photo of you with the naked strippers asking if this is your husband?
So when you get your one phone call
arranged by the American embassy you wonder why your wife just hung up on you!
Long story short you now have an arrest record in Mexico and of course you agree to go back to America where you are promptly charged with “conspiracy to import cocaine for distribution”.
You find out in a hurry that it will cost you
around $100,000 to defend yourself with a lawyer in federal court and another $300,000 to post bail and your wife is not really in a mood to help you right now no matter how you try to explain that “silly photo”. A public defender convinces you that nobody will believe that story about Mexican art and if you plead guilty, the judge will give you a five year sentence because it is your first offense and 258
on five years, you will be released in 38 months. If you go to trial and get convicted, you will be in prison at least 10 years based on the amount of cocaine that was in your suitcase. You don‟t know that your other two friends were told that their charges would be dropped and they could go free “on probation” if they said YOU were the one who introduced bill and at some point you mentioned that art was the code word for “drugs”. Bill supposedly posted bail and disappeared. But before he vanished he left a sworn affidavit saying that you prearranged the meeting at the wedding and that you and he had planned to smuggle drugs all along. And if you did tried that cocaine in the Mexican hotel room, the Mexican lab report showing cocaine in blood samples is now in your file too. In short, you are fucked.
With a pissed off wife, and no money for bail or a real lawyer, what are you going to do?
What thousands of other “conspiracy” victims do every day –
plead guilty to something you never did. Join the club friend. You are now a jailed and ticked off dissident with a wife about to divorce you. But relax, in a year or so you too might get a chance to help the feds set up some other innocent people and get yourself a “Rule 35 Sentence Reduction”.
Anyone
who bothers to visit a Federal Court House or do an online PACER search of federal criminal cases will find over 100,000 Rule 35 Sentence Reductions based on “cooperation”. Now consider that roughly half of all that “cooperation” will be someone so eager to escape a 15-30 year prison sentence that they are willing to lie and help fabricate evidence for dishonest agents who get evaluated and promoted based on the amount of arrests and convictions they generate. Now envision how many more innocent people will be entrapped like the guys in Cancun. It is an endless cycle of false and created crime needed to financially support the criminal justice system and all those political cronies who now own and operate jails, prisons, and half-way houses for the government
nation-wide. It allegedly costs $40,000 a year to maintain a
federal prisoner. In reality that number is closer to $20,000 and the balance 259
represents profit margins to vendors who supply the prison system with everything from prison uniforms to toilet paper at grossly inflated prices.
“Not possible in America you say” Federal prisoner Neil Keenan was asked to set me up on phony “attempted murder” charges at MCC Miami, but when I was charged, I was not intimidated with the threat/promise that I would be jailed for the next 20 years.
I refused to plead guilty and was acquitted at a
jury trial. Yet neither of the two “witnesses” who clearly perjured themselves at my trial were prosecuted. Why? Track down defense attorney Vincent Flynn in Boston or Miami and he can tell you. They also used the same prisoner Keenan to try and get me killed inside federal prison by spreading the word to all the other prisoners that I was a federal agent snitch allegedly pla nted in prison to collect information to ensure they were all convicted. Had the scheme worked and I was convicted, Keenan would have been given a five year sentence reduction on a “Rule 35 Sentenece Reduction motion.”
While I was in prison, working in the prison law library, no less than three dozen prisoners who were made these “Rule 35 cooperation offers” asked my opinion and I gave it to them. Homesick and afraid of losing their families, more than half ignored my advice and were released on “time served” and went free to help set up hundreds of other people on more phony and some real “conspiracy” cases. It was a Rule 35 that set my friend Erling free as well but not to set up innocent people, but rather help a corrupt FBI agent Nelson smuggle drugs. More on his case later. I already told you about Chester Zukowski and he would be worth tracking down for a few comments. He would be about 70 years old by now.
I was targeted for seven such bullshit
crimes over a 20 year period because I refused to stop trying to tell my story. But frankly one conviction is enough to taint someone for life. As I can testify form my own personal experience. 260
Now let‟s consider what happens after a dissident is released from jail/prison. Most of them either have lost their family home and or family altogether. They are surely not very much motivated to go back to protesting anything, and they most focus on finding an income. As a convicted felon, nobody wants to hire you unless you want to sell cars or work in a boiler room sales operation as I did myself for a year. With a conviction, we are no longer able to legally protest with our votes because for reasons still unexplained by Uncle Sam, convicted felons are not allowed to vote. So, if I am one of 3 million dissidents falsely convicted over the last ten years, imagine how our votes would have kept George Bush out of office and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2000. He won the first and second elections by less than 500 and 5,000 votes respectively. If convicted citizens pay their debt to society by serving time behind bars. So why should they not be allowed to vote?
Because they
would vote against the war mongering, pro-Patriot Act, and candidates intent on stripping constitutional rights from “We The People”.
It is no coincidence
that I have met the most politically astute , knowledgeable, and intellectual American citizens behind bars. Most all of them, with very few exceptions were arrested on either conspiracy or tax evasion charges. Many honest and decent federal agents were used to arrest these people, not knowing the real cause and purpose of their arrest. Since I mention the 2000 and 2004 Presidential Elections, it should be noted that Georeg W. Bush is the first and only U.S. President appointed to office by The U.S. Supreme Court whose majority was appointed by Republican presidents. If election fraud is of interest to you, you should Google (Voting machine election fraud) and see how almost every district with more than a 50% black demographic were given old and problematic voting machines in their districts as a vast majority of black Americans vote democratic. About 30% of those machines failed in in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections and more than 10,000 black American voters never got the chance to vote. Bush won in 2004 by through this and other election fraud later detailed by Rev. Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton. From the onset of his Presidency George W. Bush was devoid of honesty and ethics.

Over 50,000 American citizens are released from prisons and jails every year. More than 70% of them committed non-violent crimes. They have paid their debt to society by serving time in prison and are supposedly given a fresh new start on their lives. Yet upon release, they are not allowed to vote or own a gun, even if their crime involved no violence. WHY? Voting and gun ownership are two “inalienable” rights granted by the U.S. Constitution. Solve the mystery.
Dissidents who do not give up their quest to expose the truth are flagged for relentless harassment and persecution by any and all means necessary.
If
their disclosure threat is serious enough to affect an election, or expose massive corruption, they may have an “accident” or commit suicide. In some cases they just may be falsely identified as a “government informant” to the Italian or Russian mob as they did to me in 1999. Dissidents as well as investigative reporters are no longer allowed to have a free voice in America. Investigative reporter Michael Hastings who was writing a detailed expose on NSA abuses when he “coincidentally” had a fatal car accident.
Few people today know that the late great Martin Luther King and Rev. Jesse Jackson were officially labeled as “dangerous dissidents” by the federal government as was Rev. Al Sharpton, all three black men that the government 262
feared would incite the black population of America. After the Martin Luther King files were obtained in a law suit a few years
ago
and
some
were
declassified, we learned that a team of 15 FBI agents were assigned to dig up dirt and track his personal sex life in order to discredit him p ublicly. Fortunately King‟s message and charisma outweighed the gossip generated by the FBI through leaked “tips” to the media and press. But only after their underhanded tactics to taint King were exposed were people able to see that many FBI assets and resources are assigned for political and not criminal investigations. It was only then that the world learned about COINTELPRO, the secret government project of the 60s and 70s to spy on American citizen protesters and dissidents – both real and imagined. You can read more about COINTELPRO at this link www.EFF.org. In a word, the read is “enlightening” I think it would be worthwhile to subpoena and review the FBI files on Senator John Kerry as it is rumored in credible circles that George Bush Senior influe nced the FBI to go on a “skeleton hunt” when Kerry ran against his son for president in 2004. Every outspoken citizen who has leadership potential and makes a move towards political office is arrested for some crime (like Jesse Jackson). Why? Because to become a Senator/President, you cannot have criminal convictions. Arrest and convict them early and this removes them from political contention – a brilliant but sinister strategy to say the least. Just look how they took care of Gov. Elliot Spitzer! 263
Once
tainted
with
a
conviction,
even
dissidents with advanced degrees cannot get jobs and are often forced to adopt assumed names or “aliases” in hopes of living a normal life with a fresh start without having their past follow and haunt them forever. I confess that I have used this ploy from time to time in the past in order to earn a living and feed my family, but not after moving to Canada where I thought I would surely be left alone. After being smeared on the internet while in China, I was also forced to adopt a slight deviation to my name in order to pay my rent, eat, and send a few dollars home to my family. I have not pursued any criminal activity using an alias and despite two years of U.S. government insistence that I travelled to Canada using an alias, it was proven at Immigration Canada hearings that I traveled to and from Canada all my life using only my own name, drivers license, and passport. People generally have a tendency to assume people who use aliases simply must be criminals up to no good. In truth, most American citizens using aliases are just trying to escape some past traumatic experience, avoid bill collectors (especially after the 2008 financial fraud resulting in the massive destruction of the credit ratings of 30 million citizens), or escaping an injustice that left them tainted.
The FBI themselves and all
their black-bag operatives also use aliases to avoid detection, just as I did a year after my passport expired in Beijing and I was told it would not be renewed. But for my first year in China, I lived and worked openly, just as I did in Canada – under my own name as you will see in other chapters.
If a dissident succeeds in earning any substantial amount of money or is close to doing so in a legitimate business deal, a discreet call will be made or perhaps some old newspaper clipping (real or fabricated) will be sent by a 264
“dirty tricks” agent to sabotage the closing of that venture. One such dissident and fellow pilot, author, and former government FAA safety inspector, and whistleblower named Rodney Stich pictured here was robbed of $10 million by the U.S. Justice Department who just happened to be the subject of one of the great books Rodney wrote entitled CRIMES OF THE DOJ. Clearly the less money a dissident has available to him, the less resources he has to organize any group, a protest march, make and distribute printed flyers, promote his/her book, and/or spread his message. But the devious way they robbed Rodney is almost beyond belief and it really needs to be read in the words of the victim himself at this link here: http://www.defraudingamerica.com/bankruptcy_court_corruption
Rodney is now in his seventies and damn near broke after the U.S. Justice Department found and /or created the most evil and devious way to steal over $10 million dollars of Rodney‟s real estate, homes, and vehicles. He was convicted of no crime yet forfeited his life’s savings to the U.S. government. Why was he targeted for such vengeance? Rodney did what no other whistleblower did before…he exposed the political manipulations of those that are charged to enforce human rights, criminal laws, and fight corruption. He wrote four great expose books detailing the corruption with the FAA and the U.S. Airline Industry and how the CIA came to create its own airlines in order to smuggle drugs out of Southeast Asia and later South America. Rodney then went on to investigate and report on the events leading up to 911 that in a nutshell is the worst case of criminal negligence in the world, yet the the U.S. Justice Department refuses to prosecute due the political embarrassments it would cause. Rodney has been a thorn in the foot of the American government as much as filmmaker Michael Moore. But stealing $10 million dollars from a U.S. citizen with no justification is outrageous and sinister. Read Rodneys books and you all see why he has been on Uncle Sam‟s hit list for almost half a century.
Rodney highlighted the cancer of
collusion that li nks and protects politicians and bankers from prosecution. 265
Rodney Stich-Former U.S. Navy aviator, whistleblower, and author
If despite efforts to discredit dissidents with false arrests and internet smears, the dissident continues to generate any public protests or negative or embarrassing publications, they will start receiving intimidating visits from the IRS, safety inspectors (if they own a business) or even an agent who will not identify themselves but deliver either veiled or direct threats of “expensive legal problems” to come if their activities do not cease.
If the intimidation does not
work, more direct threats will follow such as killing a family pet, approaching a family member in a Walmart or similar public place with a message to pass along to the dissident, or even setting the family car on fire.
In my case they
poisoned my dog, left notes on the windshield of a family car, shot 4 holes in our kitchen window and a week later shot out the windows of our family car and then left threatening messages for my wife to hear on our home answering machine. Despite all the whiz-bang-wow technology law enforcement has at 266
their fingertips for the last 3 decades, the police claim they could not trace the source of the threatening calls.
Another tactic used by the U.S. government is simply to keep dissidents detained and incommunicado as long , and as frequently possible to interrupt their activities and stop the communication flow to the outside world. See my chapter “Solitary Secrets”.
In this secluded environment it is often easy to
mentally “break” the dissident and obtain either a sign confession of some wrongdoing to guarantee their future silence, or an opportunity to stage an “accident” that will not get very much if any investigation. Consider the mother of all
domestic
dissidents
and
whistleblowers – Julian Assange, the founder
of
WikiLeaks.com.
Since
disclosing the “Collateral Murder” video to the world, the U.S. government has unleashed their full wrath of revenge on this man as they chased him around the world and then pressured other governments to bring charges against him. He has been holed up in the Ecuadorean embassy in London for over a year, and not one International organization has come to his aide. He blew the whistle on murderers yet like Bradley Manning, he is portrayed to be the criminal, while the murderers exposed in the infamous video still walk free. Without a doubt, truth has become the enemy of the U.S. government and people like Julian and Bradley who try to make the truth k nown to the public become targets of governments. Still, isolating Assange in an embassy is not the worst fate a dissident/whistleblower can face. Julian is still alive.
More drastic actions include injuring or killing a family member, as in the case of my mother, who had her oxygen hose mysteriously disconnected in the 267
hospital the day she was to be released to go home. Suffering from advanced emphysema, she could not live without a nasal canulla that kept a stream of oxygen fed to her respiratory system. In the statements give by Mike Tober and myself, you will note that someone disguised as a male doctor or nurse entered the room and talked with my mother according to “Rose” her elderly roommate in the semi private room of Parma Community Hospital.
Three
hours later when I came to pick up my mom to take her home with neighbor Mike Tober, male nurse Gary Rezabek joined us to fetch her from her room. My mother was in a coma and her oxygen hose had been removed from the valve on the wall. Rose thought my mom was asleep. The next day she died.
Approximately three years prior to her death my mother received a “friendly visit” from a man who claimed he was trying to help me and ensure my safety. He claimed to be an FBI agent and flashed his badge so quick my mom could only remember a name that was “Dan” or “Don” which was probably fictitious anyway. Over coffee he chatted with my mom and said that I had a “rebellious streak” in me, and if she could not convince me to start minding my own business, there were people that wanted to hurt me. At that time Olga Pelko a neighbor had rung the bell and came in to go shopping with my mom. She briefly met the man who promptly excused himself.
Olga and my mom would
later describe the man in such general terms I had no way to investigate further without involving the FBI and I knew that would be a futile effort. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Take some time and Google “Revenge against whistleblowers in America” and just maybe you will have second thoughts about calling me paranoid.
The death of my mother surely gave me pause and time to reflect. Within a week of her funeral, I convinced myself that I would not die until my story was told. Those bastards murdered my mother. But now I had new son on his way into this corrupt world and my wife implored me to let it go. And so with much 268
hesitation and reservation, I did. I assumed that once I left America the message would be clear – I conceded and abandoned the country I felt obliged to help – even in my own small way. I had to choose between the safety of my own loved ones and the welfare of my friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens led by cunning wolves who were not satisfied wearing sheep‟s clothes. They now wear the clothes of the shepherd himself. When I watched my son born and held his tiny self in my hands and opened his eyes for the first time in his life, I became a slave to silence and agreed to abandon this book. After we moved into our new home in Ontario, I decided one day to gather up all my remaining notes and documents and set them ablaze. I collected what took me years to accumulate – at least what survived multiple searches and seizures now filled only one legal box when there were once three when I left prison in 1990 and five by 1992. But in a few minutes there would only be memories that I would let fade as my son would create much better ones for me over the years to come. Then there is the case of Internet Activist – Whistle Blower Stew Webb (seen here) who has for almost 20 years focused detailed spotlights on various government crimes, including some of the very ones I reported and confirmed by former
CIA
Operative
Eugene
“Chip” Tatum seen below, when he was arrested a second time in Florida in the last 20 years after confirming that FBI Agent Nelson worked in conjunction with the CIA to smuggle drugs with impunity since 1990. I describe in a later chapter how Nelson attempted to recruit me into his drug smugglig operations in Canada and Puerto Rico.
Both Stew Webb and former FBI S upervisor Ted Gunderson, interviewed Chip 269
Tatum perhaps a half a dozen times and each time more credible details emerged. Enough to make both Gunderson and Webb targets. Gunderson was targeted for poisoning and Webb was virtually attacked by vehicles while driving down a highway. The two vehicles maneuvered him to the far left lane against the highway median then crashed into him with such force to cause his van to roll over three times. Stew suffered a broken neck but is damn lucky to be alive. Below is one photo of the accident scene and you can find his own story at www.StewWebb.com. In my eyes Stew is yet another American hero who will not be silenced by threats and violence.
Former CIA special ops contractor Chip Tatum was asked to assassinate Presidential candidate Ross Perot by the Bush camp. He refused. He also wrote the famous Tatum Chronicles that every American citizen needs to read. He worked 15+ years for the CIA.
Former FBI Veteran Supervisor Ted Gunderson has investigated all the claims made by Chip Tatum and was able to verify most all of the allegations. Enough to inspire him to become a crusader on behalf of transparent government. Ted was poisoned with arsenic in 2012. 270
I took the matches from my pocket, and then fetched the red can of gasoline from which I would refuel the lawn mower every week. But then my dog Bruno, a beautiful fawn colored bull mastiff began barking up a storm running back and forth on our wooded lot. I had never seen him act so bizarre. I postponed my personal arson project long enough to investigate Bruno‟s odd behavior. As it turned out Bruno just met his first raccoon. A big fat pregnant Raccoon was trapped in one of 30 trees in our back yard and I feared Bruno might not want to be friends with our new tenant. So I led Bruno inside the house so I could relocate the raccoon to another tree beyond Bruno‟s domain and when came back to attend to the wily guest, I was greeted with a downpour. I totally forgot about the box of documents I left in the backyard and only remembered it when I was mowing the backyard lawn the next weekend. Fortunately, I had left the top on the plasticized box so nothing was damaged from the heavy rain. But now I had to cut the grass so I just put the box in the garage and sort of forgot about it. 271
Had I been single, this book would have been published 15 years ago. But family changed everything. But I did promised myself to make a confidential report to Amnesty International about prison murders, rapes, a nd abuses in America so at least some human dignity could be brought inside the prisons and the mental and physical tortures of seg units could be reduced or even eliminated.
The letter was delivered to a girl named Savannah at AI‟s Toronto
office in June of 2000. I never once thought that Amnesty International was one of the top “dissident” targets of the FBI along with Human Rights Watch, Judicial Watch, The ACLU, and Center For Constitutional Rights. I was so naïve to believe that my “Confidential & Sensitive” label on the envelope meant it would actually be a protected secret.
My careless oversight would cost me
dearly. Their offices or phones were clearly bugged. For within a week there would be 20 armed police surrounding my house. I can only assume they figured I would continue my quest to disclose all that I knew. They were wrong, but there would be no way to convince them of that. We were now at war. I realized this was not a war I could ever win. My goal was only to protect my family from harm and stay alive.
Once courts get involved and dissidents do not cave, concede, and beg for mercy, the persecution tactics become more dirty, low, sophisticated, and evil as other chapters of this book detail. In 2010, after the FBI failed with project “Norman” to lure me out of China, I became extremely wary and alert. I had read the newspapers and watched the TV news about CIA “renderings” and then after I began trying to track the ACLU Director who helped me defend my anonymous AIDS testing, I spotted some ACLU reports on line like the one below and realized the FBI was also kidnapping people outside American borders without probable cause nor court orders. Now the way I figure, If they plucked innocent people of the street, they would have no qualms about plucking a whistleblower up in China. For this reason, I made a conscience efforts to avoid bars and other nightlife, and began changing my daily routine as much as possible, even alternated between subways and the buses I hate so much as their stop and go jerky movements caused me nausea, and if the bus was full, my claustrophobia would kick in. My diligence grew to the point of paranoia, as I thought for sure I was being tracked and would be rendered at any time. I even began remaining silent in my own home as I assumed I could not find every bug planted. But would they be so bold as to snatch me out of China a nd risk and an international embarrassment? Then I concluded, these guys may be so good at these kidnappings they could easily break in while I sleep, drug me with chlorophyll and slip me out in the wee hours of the morning, and I would not be missed for hours, and by that time I could be secreted in a train, cargo container, or detained in the American embassy,or shipped to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba! I decided I needed to have more people around me to guarantee my security, perhaps even a roommate. I did what I had to do – got a roommate.
As Snowden recently informed the world of what I have personally experienced for years, three of my four computers were covertly infiltrated and compromised by the FBI over the last 15 years and most recently in July of 2013. Using special programs and with the help of a hacker, I was able to trace the IP addresses of agents gaining remote access to computers which led to Arlington, McLean, and the U.S. embassy in Beijing.
When Edward Snowden made his public revelations in July of 2013, he had the element of surprise in his corner. I never had this luxury and have been a marked man since I first spoke with FBI Agent Ben Grogan in 1984 and then surely red-flagged when I contacted Supervisory Agent In Charge Paul Miller in 1990-1991 to report the drug smuggling of FBI Agent Terry Nelson in Miami. 275
Special Agents Ben Grogan, Maury Berthon, Tom Doktor, and John Marley are upright, honest, and decent human beings who tried to do their jobs. Above them is where the problems begin. In closing, I again refer you to the pyramid of corruption with a suggestion that an FBI director should never be appointed by any President and the top executives in the FBI (all GS-12s and higher) should be polygraphed every six months and asked the following questions;
1) Have you ever committed any illegal acts or received dirty monies in the last year?
2) Have you assisted with any obstruction of justice or cover -ups within the last year? 3) Are you aware of any political crimes or cover-ups currently in progress or that took place over the last year? 4) Are you aware of any innocent citizens that have been wrongly or falsely convicted over the last year? 5) Have you instructed any agent or employee in the agency to violate any law or agency policy within the last year? This procedure should be conducted by OPR with a witness present from the Congressional
oversight
committee
and
all
problems/discrepancies
investigated and reported on a online Congressional journal that every American can access and read. FBI executives who fail these tests should be demoted out of management and in egregious cases, expelled from the agency. This same testing procedure should be extended to the Department of Justice, DHS, and every other federal law enforcement agency, and if implemented,
would
greatly
reduce
harassment and
persecution of
whistleblowers, the number of false arrests, a nd restore accountability into 276
American law enforcement and our criminal justice system. But don‟t hold your breath, no American president will ever have the balls and enough integrity to pass such an Executive Order. But I publicly challenge President Obama here and now to pass such a law if he wants to demonstrate that he is part of the solution and not part of the problem. How he addresses this one simple proposal will show his true colors to the world.
Let‟s be real friends. We are living in 2014 – not 1776. Presidential candidates do not spend $200 million or more to get elected to a position that pays $200,000 a year. 80% of that $200 million comes from special interest groups who have their own agendas. Do you really think “We The People” are part of those agendas?
To all the very honest, ethical, and decent FBI and other federal agents who I may have angered and offended with this necessary chapter I apologize that I had to write it and I thank you openly for your public service. I know that without your daily diligence and passion for investigative work, the Brooklyn Bridge would not be standing today and perhaps thousands of people would have died in London bombings that your timely intelligence prevented. I reiterate with confidence that the great majority of those who serve in law enforcement are not selfish, greedy, nor evil. The FBI has foiled dozens of genuine terrorist attacks, reduced the mafia to a fraction of its former self, and generally keeps America quite safe through 24/7 electronic and human intelligence. Their vigilance is both admirable and commendable. Director Mueller, despite a handful of minor mistakes has had the least corruption and problems within the Bureau. He is the only FBI Director to stay at his post longer than the legal 10 year time period (allowed by a special Act of Congress) and had he at least replied to the information my lawyer and I passed to him, I would have very little if any negative opinions about his integrity, which I sometimes feel is outweighed by his loyalty and former role as a prosecutor, 277
who after time develop bias in towards obtaining convictions rather than seeking justice.
As I said, most employees of the Bureau are upright and honorable people. It is one of the reasons I chose to apply for work with the agency in 1984. But when their HR office sent me a letter requesting an interview, less than three weeks after the agency arrested me in the phony bribe case, I wondered about their “CBC” factor what I like to call the “Collective Bueraucratic Competency”. Whereas the Coast Guard rated the highest on my list and the INS the lowest, I was always puzzled how the Ruby Ridge and WACO fiascos could have been allowed by FBI management. But almost all of their good deeds and intentions of the majority get perceptually negated by the one in ten tainted agents who hold supervisory positions and give misguided orders that most all agents below them fear to question.
Actually, the FBI itself has its own share of internal whistleblowers,
like
former
special
Frederic
Whitehurst (above) who was a supervisory agent in the FBI‟s Washington crime lab who came out in 1995 and publicly announced that FBI lab analysis that was done for hundreds of prosecutions were faulty, mishandled, and/or deliberately fabricated so
prosecutors
cold
obtain
their
coveted
prosecutions. Lawyer Barry Shecter who became famous defending O.J. Simpson on national television as a forensics expert, went on to found “The 278
Innocence Project” and has in over 3 dozen cases proved Whitehurst‟s claims to be true. In 2000, Claude Jones was wrongly convicted and executed based on the lab analysis of hair samples which the U.S. Justice Department finally admitted was not at all accurate. Shecter says that hair samples are the least accurate of all tissue taken from the human body and one hair might falsely be matched with thousands of people whose hair would test identical. DNA is much more accurate but still far from infallible. Perhaps this is why the Bush W. administration was bent on having micro-chips embedded in every new-born baby in America, although he used the façade of “immigration control” to disguise his true motives. If American citizens get “chipped” they not only will be trackable 24/7 but all their financial transactions can be moni tored in real-time and with the press of a button their bank accounts and credit could be cut off immediately. Think about what that would mean if you are dissident, or belong to some patriot group planning to pay for printing up 100,000 flyers to distribute tomorrow at an anti-war rally. At present, the FBI track dissidents in a less physically invasive manner but just as evil as per this diagram…
Over the course of writing this book I discovered that my comp uters were routinely infected with 167 Trojan and 13 keylogger software programs that were not on any commercial malware or spyware signature list. Actually there wer probably quite a few more but these were the only ones we detected. When I started writing off-line, my homes were twice raided (once in Miami and once in Ohio) and then burglarized in Beijing. Two of my hard drives in China were remotely reformatted/corrupted beyond recovery, but fortunately by this time I had learned to make multiple back-up copies, and distribute to a handful of my friends – just in case I too suffered some bizarre accident like Michael Hastings. I have had to write the first half of this book three times due to the illegal confiscations of my manuscripts as I describe in later chapters. I am eternally grateful to the inventor of the USB flash drive and want to alert the public to Microsoft‟s complicity with the federal government in allowing their spyware to be disguised as “Windows Update” one of which allows complete remote access by third parties of any Windows-based computer.
279
Another famous FBI whistleblower was FBI SAC Ted Gunderson who along with this author, tried to expose special Agent Terry Nelson for drug smuggling massive amounts of drugs into America via Canada. Ted was the Senior Agent In Charge of both Los Angeles and Memphis. Despite his long 20+ year decorated career with the Bureau, Ted was belittled and smeared by the agency until his death in 2012 from “cancer”. Recently doctors who performed a forensic examination on Ted‟s body claim unusual amounts of arsenic found in his body may point to a poisoning. The investigation is ongoing so I cannot comment further at this time. Considering that witness Erling Ingvaldsen involved in the same case was also a victim of a poisoning attempt in Panama, I would not be surprised if Ted was poisoned as well. Ted‟s photo is at the end of this Chapter along Chip Tatum – two of the bravest patriots in modern American history – no less courageous and determined as Paul Revere to get the word of danger to the American public. 280
Yet another recent whistleblower was FBI SA Colleen Rowely who publicly
accused
the
FBI
of
deliberately mishandling the 911 and Bin Laden investigations and openly challenged Director Mueller to produce evidence related to unsubstantiated claims made by the White House and the FBI about 911 and terrorism in general. She further said the FBI is withholding the truth about 911 from the public as also claimed by many airline pilots, high-ranking military officers, and over 1.000 structural engineers.
Another infamous and most recent FBI whistleblower is former FBI Agent M. Wesley Swearingen who last year in 2013 claimed the Warren Report – the official government investigation into the assassination/murder of President John F. Kennedy in 1963 to be a massive cover-up and through his extensive knowledge as an FBI firearms expert confirmed that more than one person shot President Kennedy and that people within the CIA and organized crime knew details in advance of the shooting and did nothing to stop it. You can read his book entitled TO KILL A PRESIDENT for his own story.
FBI translator Sibel Edmonds is still another active whistleblower who tried to expose Congressional
Corruption,
specifically
Congressmen Hastert who took bribes from foreign
governments,
as
well
as
CIA
involvement in the famous Boston bombing, 281
and FBI criminal cover-up activities. Google her interview online and your jaw will drop to the floor – guaranteed. She submits evidence that the Boston bombing was government sponsored in order the boost the public‟s anxiety and fear of domestic and foreign “terrorists”. Sounds unbelievable on the surface but after you hear what she has to say, you will be think twice or maybe even thrice about what is reality and what is perception in America today.
Of course the biggest whistle blower in FBI history is former FBI Manager Mark Felt who became known around the world as “Deep Throat” who made sure the government could not cover up the crimes of President Nixon by leaking information
to
Washington
Post reporters Karl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. He was then prosecuted and convicted by the FBI in retaliation. Fortunately prior to his death, President Reagan gave him a presidential pardon.
The CIA also has had a handful of whistleblowers but we don‟t see too many of them. The first that came to the public‟s attention was Philip Agee in the 1970s which was a shocker for the American public. Phillip fled America in fear of reprisals. The most recent Whistler to com forward was John Kiriakou pictured below who leaked information about the U.S. military and CIA involved in torturing 282
prisoners abroad that was authorized by President Cheney. His revelations would not go unpunished as the CIA used a law from 1917 to prosecute and convict him for revealing the name of the man hired to do the actual torturing of prisoners. Since torture constitutes a war crime, John insists he was doing his duty to report a crime - which earned him 30 months in prison from a federal judge who disagreed with international law and the Geneva convention.
But where are all the other whistle-blowers in America ending up? The lucky ones in jail and ones like investigative Michael Hastings are dying from unusual “accidents”. Hastings who was working on a story about exactly this subject (hunting down whistle blowers within the Obama administration) was found dead in a burned out car still on fire. But investigators are now convinced foul play was involved and murder cannot be ruled out. Consider that Michael was being monitored as a result of exposing other government mischief, and it was learned by an email leaked on wikileaks, that the subject of his latest project would be the new CIA director Brenan and his mission to ferret out whistle blowers. How odd that Michael would die before his article could be completed. Others might say “convenient”. Officially the police (who recovered 283
the body but did not see the crash) claim Michael died from the impact of the car crash, yet four eye-witnesses say they saw the car explode before any impact. Further, the engine of the Mercedes was thrown 150 feet out of the car – from an explosion. Someone detonated a bomb in Michael‟s car. On July 12 th of 2012, someone would also put a bomb in my house, but since you‟re reading these words, it did not go off – and in a later chapter I will tell you why.
Unless you live in cave without internet or Cable TV, you know this fellow here as the gregarious film producer Michael Moore, a protester who put his own money on the line to produce what I call a
“Wake
Up
America”
series
of
documentaries about 911 (Farenheit 911) America‟s perverted health care programs (Sicko) and Roger And Me (about the enslavement of the middle class by corporate America). Since he undertook his first movie project in 1983, Michael has been audited every year by the IRS. Mere coincidence? Not hardly. When I worked for the IRS, less than 3% of the population was audited by us. And less than 2% of the U.S. population will be audited more than once in any five year period. Michael belongs to a unique group of protesters turned writer, journalist, or film maker who will harassed for the bala nce of their lives unless they concede to silence. IRS intimidation works quite well, especially after they decide to freeze all of your personal and company accounts because they suspect some “irregularities:. Those funds will remain frozen until the investigation concludes – which may in fact be next year. In the interim, how will you pay your vendors, employees, rent, utility bills, etc? Many biz owners thinking that the freeze will only be a month or two, start using their personal line of credit to keep their company afloat until their credit runs out and they 284
realize they have been bankrupted with a very company ploy used by Uncle Sam. As an IRS field agent in the Collections Division in Miami, I was trained how to intimidate citizens and I can testify here and now, that when we just announced ourselves at anyone‟s front door, only two things would happen…A businessmen would either immediately call his lawyer, or offer to cooperate fully and request a lenient deal. I only recall one fellow who argued with us and told us to contact his lawyer. By the time we got in touch with the lawyer, the man had sold his home at a huge discount and disappeared.
One does not have to be an American citizen to feel the full wrath and vengeance of Uncle Sam. Just look at the precarious situation they created for the king of whistle blowers, Julian Assange. Keep in mind that Julian did nothing but allow people to read U.S. government documents without any of his own commentaries or editorials. documents

Julian is not an American citizen, nor was he convicted of any crime, yet the U.S. government directed Western Union, Visa, Master Card, and every major U.S. bank to block any and all financial support inbound to Wikileaks, a NPO which operates based on donations. By what right and authority does can the U.S. government justify violating international banking laws to penalize a foreign organization that has no terrorist nor drug links?
Again, we see a bully regime that flagrantly flaunts
its arrogant defiance of law that others must follow – but not the U.S. government. America got away with murdering journalists and civilians.
The day after Wikileaks published all their infamous diplomatic cables, thousands of supporters around the world donated more than $800,000. Within two weeks, the U.S. government unilaterally interfered with the legal transfer of funds to Assange and/or Wikileaks. Financial support was essentially cut off via electronic piracy. This is tantamount to 285
extortion and economic sabotage. This one brazen act alone showed the world that America will not hesitate to use the international banking community to punish and penalize any entity who has the integrity to expose the crimes and sins of America. If the American government is allowed to dictate the money flow in the world, has not the rest of the world already become their economic slaves?
Will not the same subversive tactics be used to influence
the outcome of free elections in other sovereign nations?
Perhaps they
already have. How would YOU know?
What if a third or fourth political party is established in America to wrest control from the elite? Will the banking community be used similarly as a weapon of sabotage. Where does the slippery slope begin and end? Is there no limit to the abuse the world must endure?
Bankers are anything but stupid. Once
they buy off Russia‟s and China‟s leadership, it is game over. At that point all the whistleblowers in the world cannot make a difference as the Central banks of the world will be selecting all the sheet music for their respective governments to play. The illusion of democracy and choice may continue, but in the end a citizen‟s, only function will be to work, pay taxes, and consume goods sold by the same consolidated monopoly worldwide. Whether you buy a Ford, a BMW, or a Renault will not matter since all auto companies will eventually have the same group owners/shareholders. Almost 80% of the worlds‟s farmlands are already owned by 17 corporations. JFK, his brother Robert and his son John Jr. all hoped to expose this master plan known as “The New World Order” or “Globalization” and look where it got them, and Michael Hastings.
There is no doubt that America has become a police state, with the highest incarceration rate per capita in the world. While violent crimes are going down in America, prison populations are going up. On the surface, this does not make much sense. However, upon closer examination, the reason for this is 286
two-fold;
Prisons have been privatized and
subcontracted to political cronies, mostly of the former Bush regime.
It has now become a
multi-billion dollar industry and almost half of all state prisons have become thriving businesses. In order to make money they need prisoners. Any prisoners, whether they be criminals, drunks, or immigrants, it doesn‟t matter. The cells and beds need to be kept full. 911 made American more submissive and more tolerant of police abuse. Many state police are now being promoted and getting pay raises based on the number of arrests they make. So whereas maybe a wayward drunken pedestrian may have received a stern warning only ten years ago, they are now being locked up. Likewise, ten years ago, protesters were merely photographed, had their fingerprints taken and released.
Today
in
ID photocopied and America,
a
protest
demonstrator can expect to spend 30 days or longer behind bars for “disturbing the peace”. The government is getting heavy handed and using 911 as an excuse to intimidate citizens to the point or robotic obedience without question nor hesitation. Hitler would be proud.
In the last 30 years even labor union leaders in America have been targeted for prosecution, about half of which was justified (corruption and graft cases) But in other cases like the PATCO strike of 1980, President Reagan wanted to simply send a message to those who challenged government policies – fair or otherwise. Collective bargaining under the auspices of a labor union has been a traditional right of Americans since the turn of the 20 th Century and laws 287
protect the right to strike and file grievances. Yet when the air traffic controllers of American went on strike, not to ask for more money, but to protest long hours and unsafe working conditions, President Reagan made sure their leaders were locked up and by prosecuting labor union leaders the union was quickly busted.
Thousand of well qualified air traffic controllers trained at a
huge expense kept America‟s skies safe for 30 years. But because they had a legitimate grievance with our elected officials, they simply had to be replaced. Once again the bully got his way while all the other kids in the schoolyard had been robbed of their lunch monies.
The two leaders of Patco (Dick Hoover & Ron May) were imprisoned for exercising their lawful and constitutional rights. Three years of their lives were stolen and 17,000 air traffic controllers lost their jobs. The back of Labor Unions was broken by President Reagan in 1981 and thi s episode was a turning point for middle class America.
Corrections Corporation of America is the largest such private operator which operated 67 detention centers and prisons in America. The operation is so huge and lucrative they are traded on the New York Stock Exchange. There CEO, John Ferguson claims he has no interest to keep innocent people locked up. But his prisons are full of people who are going free on appeals – appeals that take months to process. Ferguson will not say what CCA earns in net 288
profits per prisoner, but they have roughly 90,000 in their custody and whether they are prisoners or immigrants, my BOP contact estimates they earn roughly $270,000 net profit per day. If this is inaccurate, then let their CFO step forward and prove otherwise. People should not be allowed to profit from the misery of others because it provides incentive to prolong that suffering for financial gain. It further provides a profit motive to bribe police officer to arrest and jail more and more people and crooked judges will be bribed to give longer jail sentences.
Furthermore the Patriot Act no w allows for any person on U.S. soil to be detained indefinitely if they are suspected of any terrorist of criminal act that “may” have links to terrorist groups. Thousands of people have been detained for weeks, months, and years by federal agents who want to question potential “suspects” and as has been reported in the foreign press, more than half of the people detained have no terrorist links. And of course, 5% of our prison population in America can be attribute to people like Clive Boustred, and activist and the founder of Liberty for Life who exposed corruption within the courts of his community, as well as other criminal collusion of government 289
officials and for his efforts was set up to be killed. When the plan failed, he was falsely charged with a “conspiracy” crime and then told he would be charged with even more crimes if he did not plead guilty to one of them. You can

Ask any retired criminal justice lawyer how easy it is to convict an innocent person these days in an American court of la w. It only takes one police officer or federal agent to lie, and a citizen forfeits years of their life and perhaps even their family.. Its even easier to jail someone and detain them for months on end – even if you are not an Arab or a poor homeless man with no money to hire a lawyer. chapter, and perhaps this book would never had been written. If more corrupt 290
or unethical FBI supervisors are reported, publicly exposed, and prosecuted the effectiveness of and respect for the Bureau would dramatically improve. I sincerely believe that just the semi-annual polygraphing that includes the five questions above would eliminate the public mistrust and restore the lost admiration and glory of that the FBI enjoyed in the days of John Dillinger and Al Capone. I see the FBI as a valuable and powerful tool to fight crime and prevent REAL terrorism. But like any and all tools, when placed in the hands of an unskilled, impulsive, misguided, or drunken (on politics) craftsman the results will without question, be counterproductive and the agency will be used for Machiavellian and internecine purposes to the extreme detriment of our nation. Nixon, Bush W, and Cheney should have both been targets of the FBI and not their puppet masters.
This is precisely why FBI Directors should not be politically-appointed by a President but perhaps nominated by police chiefs and voted in by a full Congress. Terms of FBI Directors should be reduced from 10 to 6 to overlap presidential elections so as not to become part of any political agenda. I further believe that all FBI Directors must be held accountable for correspondence sent directly to them and a law should be passed that requires Directors to reply in writing to all correspondence and evidence received from U.S. citizens (like the 7 page letter and video/audio tape I sent Director Mueller dated XXXX 2001). If nothing else, this law would prove a Director was made aware of a problem, crime, or collusion issue, and any inaction on his/or her part could then be proven to Congressmen, media, and the courts. At present, the Director is accountable only to the White House and an oversight committee of Congress that is too concerned about maintaining a “positive public image” rather than genuine justice.
Lastly, I want to point out that since 911, most Americans have raised their 291
level of tolerance for police abuse and forfeiture of privacy, because they were falsely led to believe they were in “great and imminent danger”. As you will see in an upcoming chapter, this false fear was generated exactly for the purpose of developing public obedience and conformity. So what was grossly unacceptable 20 or even 10 years ago, becomes the new “normal” today. Many of you are too young to remember the Rodney King beating (a black construction worker brutally beaten by LA cops that cause riots to erupt for days), but a modern day example of this police state mentality is this homeless man below (Kelly Thomas) who was beaten to death without provocation by six Fullerton police officers. Despite three eyewitnesses who testified under oath that Mr. Thomas was not resisting arrest, only arguing with the police, he was punished for his civil disobedience with a fatal beating. What if this man was YOUR son, YOUR, uncle, or YOUR brother. One day it could even be you.
Before Police Beating
After Police Beating
You can Google his story and watch the beating for yourself on line. Then ask yourself…How and why can this happen in America?
In chapters ahead you
will see that in America‟s prisons, beatings like this are common, other prisoners are raped and come burned with cigarettes while others are put to fight one another for the entertainment of the guards. So dissidents who get 292
jailed are punished many times over for their “mistake” of blowing a whistle or asking too many questions, or exposing a government crime. But you will not see videos of those beatings and murders behind bars. I did.
Monitoring dissidents may indeed be justifiable intelligence work to protect the public against radical groups that may want to resort to indiscriminate violence, but there is zero justification for agents becoming weapons of intimidation, censorship, smearing, or crime fabrication for those who exercise their freedom of speech, or become whistleblowers of real and serious crimes. Instead of only search out evidence and
witnesses that only support a
pre-determined outcome and suppressing all evidence to the contrary, every agent employed by American taxpayers owes America objectivity and ethics and all that they do during working hours. Fabricating crimes and then inviting others to join it under false pretenses should not take up 40% of the Bureau‟s time and budget. In legal terms this is called “entrapment” .Most any person in the world can be induced to enrich themselves through an opportunity made to appear legitimate, and unless they are criminal law students, they would have no idea they are violating a “conspiracy” law, - yet another useful tool that is most abused by corrupt leaders and pols in America that simply want to target a political enemy.
Every IRS agent that was utilized to target Tea Party supporters needs to be 293
prosecuted and jailed to set an example if we are not to believe that “Equal justice under the law” is the exception and not the rule. Likewise, Wall Street banksters should be monitored and pursued with the same vigor and passion the FBI expended (wrongly) on Martin Luther King, and rightly on John Dilinger and the Abscam targets. Then and only then can the FBI be trusted agai n to protect all Americans on a non-selective basis and stop shooting the messengers and piano players – government whistle blowers who deliver bad or politically inconvenient news, or play a song nobody really wants to hear.
Bradley Manning, Julian Assange, are high profile “messengers” or “piano players if you will. For every one of these front page headline messengers there are dozens of smaller, but even more knowledgeable
witnesses
to
reality who have tried and even dedicated most of their lives to exposing evil and dangerous schemes. People like former FBI Supervisor Ted Gunderson, Stew Webb, Rodney Stich, Art Bell, Jeff Egelhart, Susan Lindauer, Chip Tatum, Mike Ruppert, Mike Levine, Daniel Hopsicker, and hundreds of passionate investigative reporters like Brian Barger, Johnathan Kwitney, Ty West, Mike Parry, Gary Webb, Michael Hastings, and many others who have been suppressed by mainstream media, just as they have done to Congressman Ron Paul. See this link: http://RonPaulLibrary.org
Today in America we are sitting precariously on the edge of tyranny. When our soldiers are sent to die so only a few elites can grab the oil of other countries, it becomes obvious that the collusion between corporate America, Wall Street banksters and Washington have become criminal. How many of their sons and 294
daughters were sent to Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan?
Bush‟s questionable
stint in the Air National Guard is quite typical of how the rich serve their country in America. The rest of us must risk our lives and those of our children.
BTW…In December of 2011 only a handful of media outlet reported that President Obama signed into law, something even more ominous that the Patriot Act. He sign into law the National Defense Administration Act (NDAA) which amongst other things would allow any member of the military the right to:
Detain any citizen or person(s) indefinitely without court order nor probable cause. (Less than 3% of our military gets any police training). Question and interrogate “detainees” with no time limit for detention. Transport and/or transfer their prisoner(s) to any military detention center (even that prison camp in Cuba that Obama promised to close 8 years ago) Charge, try, and convict their civilian p risoners in a military court of law. To make this happen President Obama only has to declare “martial law” . Then our troops will have the same authority that the Nazi Gestapo had in the 1940s. Hmmmm…
This i s where Uncle Sam wants di ssenters and activists to live and die.
More than 70%
