. CARACTERÍSTICAS Fabricada en plástico resistente color negro y diseñada para instalarse en cualquier tipo de
parabrisas. Tiene 6 LEDs infrarrojos para visión nocturna o con poca luz y una pantalla de
2,5”, para visualizar la grabación mientras se almacena digitalmente en una memoria MMC
o SD (no incluida). Su puerto mini USB permite respaldar su contenido en cualquier lugar que exista una computadora.

4. INSTRUCCIONES 4.1 Inserción de una tarjeta de memoria 1. Abra la tapa.
2. Inserte la tarjeta de memoria SD/MMC (1 a 32G) con la esquina sesgada orientada hacia abajo, como se muestra en la figura.
3. Cierre la tapa. Si cierra incorrectamente la tapa con la tarjeta de memoria insertada puede dañar la cámara.
4.2 Instalación de la cámara Instale la cámara en el soporte. Para fijar el equipo en el parabrisas del automóvil, baje la
palanca del chupón de succión y use las perillas del soporte para ajustar la posición deseada.

4.3 Operación usando la batería 1. Introduzca la batería en el compartimento de la cámara para cargarla. Compruebe la dirección de la batería. 2. Conecte el adaptador Vcc/Vcc en la entrada de alimentación de la cámara y el otro extremo en el encendedor del auto. También puede utilizar el cable USB para conectar la cámara a una fuente de energía, como una computadora o un dispositivo USB de carga. Cuando el indicador luminoso del botón se desactive la carga habrá

3. Una vez que cargó la batería, simplemente desconecte la cámara y presione el botón para encenderla o apagarla.
4.3.1 Grabación de videos (formato .avi) 4. Para comenzar o detener la grabación simplemente presione el botón de obturación/selección en el modo de grabación de video . 5. Use UP (acercar) y DOWN (alejar) para ajustar el zoom

Los videos se graban en clips cuya duración (3, 5, 10 y 15 min.) se establece en la opción Video time (ver pág. 14). - La cámara cuenta con la función de reutilización de espacio, es decir, cuando la tarjeta SD/MMC esté llena, se empezará a sobrescribir sobre las grabaciones o fotos más antiguas. Se recomienda realizar respaldados para evitar perdida de archivos.

4.4 Operación usando el adaptador Vcc/Vcc 1. Conecte el adaptador Vcc/Vcc en la entrada de alimentación USB de la cámara y el otro extremo en el encendedor del auto.
4.4.1 Grabación de videos (formato .avi) De este modo cuando encienda su automóvil automáticamente se activará la cámara y comenzará el proceso de grabación. Si desea detener o reanudar la grabación de video, simplemente presione el botón de obturación/selección . 2. Use UP (acercar) y DOWN (alejar) para ajustar el zoom digital. Para desactivar la cámara y guardar los datos bastará con pagar su automóvil. En esta modalidad no es necesaria la instalación de la batería a menos que desee mantenerla cargada. - Los videos se graban en clips cuya duración (3, 5, 10 y 15 min.) se establece en la opción Video time (ver pág. 12). - La cámara cuenta con la función de reutilización de espacio, es decir, cuando la tarjeta SD/MMC esté llena, se empezará a sobrescribir sobre las grabaciones o fotos más antiguas.
4.5 Fotografiar (formato JPGE) Con el equipo encendido en una de las dos opciones de uso, presione MODE hasta seleccionar el modo de captura de
fotografías. Una vez seleccionado, presione el botón de obturación/ selección para fotografiar. Use UP (acercar) y DOWN (alejar) para ajustar el zoom digit

5. OPCIONES DE MODALIDADES Utilizando el menú de ajustes, muchas de las funciones de la cámara pueden personalizarse según sus necesidades. Para acceder a los ajustes de la CCTV-957: 1. Asegúrese de que la cámara esté encendida. 2. Presione MODE para seleccionar una modalidad: Grabación de video - Captura de fotos Visualización de grabaciones o fotos 3. Para acceder a los ajustes de Salida de video, asegúrese de no estar realizando una grabación o reproducción de video y presione MENU. 4. Use DOWN (bajar) y UP (subir) para navegar en las opciones y pulse para acceder y confirmar los ajustes.
5. Pulse MENU para acceder a las configuraciones Conf. (ver pág. 19) de la cámara o pulse nuevamente este botón para salir y guardar los cambios.

5.1 Grabación de video 5.1.2 Ajustes de Salida de video • Tamaño: la cámara trabaja con las resoluciones
de video siguientes VGA (640x 480), QVGA (320×240), SXGA (1280×1024) y HD. • EV (valor de exposición): la compensación
puede hacer que la imagen tenga una apariencia más luminosa (exposición aumentada) o más oscura (exposición reducida). El ajuste de compensación de la exposición se cancelará automáticamente cuando apague la cámara. Las opciones son: (exposición aumentada) +2.0, +5/3, +4/3, +1,0, +2/3, +1/3, + 0,0, -1/3, -2/3, -1,0, -4/3, -5/3 y -2,0 (exposición reducida)
• Balan Blanco: balance de blancos sirve para hacer que las áreas blancas se vean realmente blancas. Las opciones son Automatico, Luz natural, Nublado, Tungsteno y

Flouresc. • Marca de hora: activa o desactiva la visualización de la fecha y fecha-hora. • Video Time: establece el tiempo de grabación (Desactiv , 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 y 15 min.) de los videos luego de presionar el botón obturación/selección ( ) o detectar movimiento (si activó la función Motion Detect). • Motion Detect: activa o desactiva el registro automático. Una vez que la cámara detecte movimiento grabará durante los minutos asignados en la opción Video Time. Presione si desea realizar un corte e inicio de un nuevo video. El registro se detendrá luego de que concluya el periodo de Video Time y no se detecte movimiento. • Record: activa o desactiva la grabación de video. • Night mode: activa o desactiva la función de visión nocturna.
5.1.3 Descripción de pantalla:

5.2 Captura de fotos 5.2.1 Ajustes de Captura • Tamaño: la cámara cuenta con las siguientes
opciones de resolución:
(12M) 4032x3024 pixeles (8M) 3264x2448 pixeles (5M) 2560X1920 pixeles (3M) 2048X1536 pixeles (2M) 1600x1200 pixeles (1.3M) 1280x960 pixeles
(VGA) 640X480 pixeles • Calidad: puede elegir entre Fina, Estándar y Economia
• Modo escena: permite obtener los efectos de imagen adecuados para sus
fotografías. Las opciones son:
- Automático: el aspecto de la imagen es vivo y nítido. Esta configuración es de uso
general, adecuado para la mayoría de las escenas. - Deporte. - Escena Noct: ayuda a obtener una imagen agradable y equilibrada en condiciones
de poca luz.
- Retrato: para excelentes tonos de piel. El aspecto de la imagen es más suave. Eficaz
para primeros planos.
- Paisaje: para obtener imágenes nítidas con azules y verdes vivos.

- Luz fondo.
• EV (valor de exposición): la compensación puede hacer que la imagen tenga una
apariencia más luminosa (exposición aumentada) o más oscura (exposición reducida). Este ajuste se cancelará automáticamente cuando apague la cámara. Las opciones son: (exposición aumentada) +1/3, +0,0, -1/3, -2/3, -1,0, -4/3, -5/3 y -2,0 (exposición reducida) • Balan Blanco: hace que las áreas blancas se vean realmente blancas. Las opciones son Automatico, Luz natural, Nublado, Tungsteno y Flouresc. • ISO: ajusta la sensibilidad ISO (sensibilidad del sensor de imagen a la luz)
adecuada para el nivel de luz ambiental. Seleccione las opciones 100 y 200 para exteriores soleados. Cuando se selecciona “Automático”, la sensibilidad ISO se ajusta automáticamente Puede personalizar la cámara ajustando parámetros individuales como color, nitidez y saturación. Para ver los efectos resultantes, haga tomas de prueba. • Color: Estándar, Col Comp, Sepia, Monocrom (blanco y negro). • Saturación: ajusta la saturación de color de la imagen en Alta, Normal y Baja. • Nitidez: Hítido (mas nítida), Normal y Blando (imagen suave). • Marca de hora: activa/desactiva la visualización de la fecha y fecha-hora. • Ráfaga: en comparación a la modalidad de fotos individuales, la modalidad de ráfaga
le da 3 veces más posibilidades de captar el momento deseado. Active esta función y pulse una vez el botón para sacar una ráfaga de 3 fotos.

5.3 Visualización de grabaciones o fotos En esta modalidad puede visualizar las fotografías o videos capturados. Use DOWN
(bajar) o UP (subir) para seleccionar el archivo.
Para identificar un video note que en la parte superior derecha aparece el
Ícono . Seleccione para iniciar la reproducción de la grabación. Puede pausar la reproducción presionando .
5.3.1 Ajustes de Captura • Eliminar: Seleccione con el botón
la opción Eliminar, a continuación, seleccione Única (borrar archivo visualizado), Todas o Sel (elegir de la galería) y use el botón para confirmar. Si borra todas las imágenes solo se conservarán las que estén protegidas. • Volumen: ajusta el volumen del altavoz.

6. CONFIGURACIONES (CONF.) Para acceder a las configuraciones (Conf.), asegúrese de no estar realizando una grabación o reproducción de video y pulse MENU dos veces en cualquiera de las modalidades. Use DOWN (bajar) y UP (subir) para navegar en las opciones y pulse confirmar los ajustes.

• Formato: formatea la memoria instalada. Simplemente seleccione con Ejecutar. Una vez que finalice, volverá a aparecer el menú.

Cuando se formatea la tarjeta, todas las imágenes y datos de la tarjeta se borrarán. Se borrarán incluso las imágenes protegidas. • Bip: activa o desactiva el tono de l os botones. • Idioma: selecciona el idioma de la interfaz. • Apag. Auto: para ahorrar energía de la batería, la cámara se apaga automáticamente después del tiempo de inactividad ajustado. Puede ajustar este tiempo a 1, 3, 5 minutos o desactivarlo. • Redefin Sist: restablece los ajustes predeterminados. El ajuste de fecha y hora no cambiará. • Frecuencia: en América y Asia normalmente se utiliza una frecuencia de 60 Hz, mientras que en Inglaterra, Japón y Europa normalmente es de 50 Hz. • Salida de TV: este ajuste controla las imágenes por segundo de la grabación de video. Por defecto la cámara selecciona el modo NTSC (para América del Norte). • Entrada fecha: ajusta la hora y fecha de la cámara.
Es recomendable que ajuste la hora y la fecha correcta, pues en caso de que necesite comprobar algún acontecimiento crucial, esto brindará veracidad al video captado por la CCTV-957. • USB: asegúrese de seleccionar la opción Unid. De disco para poder realizar la transferencia de fotos y videos a una computadora. • Screen Set: configura el tiempo en el cual se apagará la pantalla.

7. TRANSFERENCIA DE ARCHIVOS Conectando la cámara a una computadora es posible transferir fotos y videos. Para este proceso es importante que la cámara se configure como unidad de disco. Para
ajustar este parámetro siga los siguientes pasos:
- En cualquiera de las modalidades pulse MENU dos veces para ingresar a las configuraciones (Conf.), presione UP una vez y use para seleccionar las opciones USB y Unid de disco. • En PC:
1. Conecte la cámara a una computadora con el cable USB incluido. 2. En su computadora haga doble clic en Mi PC,
busque y haga doble clic el ícono de Disco Extraíble. 3. Haga doble clic en el icono de la carpeta DCIM.
4. Haga doble clic en el ícono de la carpeta 100DSCIM, donde estarán sus fotos y videos.
5. Copie o mueva los archivos al disco duro de la computadora y luego seleccione el video o la foto para su reproducción desde el escritorio o el disco duro. • En Mac:
1. Conecte la cámara a su computadora con el cable USB incluido. 2. La computadora reconocerá la cámara como un disco duro externo. Haga doble clic en el icono de la unidad externa para acceder a sus archivos de video y fotos. 3. Copie o mueva los archivos al disco duro de la computadora y luego seleccione el video o la foto para su reproducción desde el escritorio o el disco duro. Al borrar los archivos de su tarjeta SD, debe vaciar la papelera antes de retirar la tarjeta o desconectar la cámara. Si no vacía la papelera, las fotos y videos no serán completamente borrados de la tarjeta SD.

- Si lo desea, también puede retirar la tarjeta de la cámara para insertarla en su computadora y manejar los archivos de modo normal.
8. SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS La cámara no enciende. • Instale la batería cargada en el compartimento de la cámara. • Si desea usar el adaptador Vcc/Vcc asegúrese de conectarlo éste en el encendedor de
su automóvil (p. 12). • La temperatura de la cámara es extremadamente elevada. Apáguela y déjela en un lugar
fresco hasta que se normalice la temperatura.
No se pueden borrar imágenes y videos desde la cámara: • Si la imagen se ha protegido, no podrá borrarla (p. 19). La cámara se apaga sola: • La desconexión automática está activada. Si no desea que la cámara se apague automáticamente, ajuste la modalidad Desactivado (p. 21). No se puede grabar ni capturar imágenes: • Posiblemente su tarjeta SD/MMC tiene ajustado el modo de protección sobre escritura.
Deslice el conmutador de protección contra escritura de la tarjeta hasta el ajuste de Escritura/Borrado. • La tarjeta SD/MMC no se ha insertado correctamente (p. 10).
Los botones no funcionan: • Durante la grabación y reproducción de videos el botón MENU se desactiva.
El indicador de batería no marca el tiempo correcto de carga: • La temperatura ambiente es demasiado baja o alta . No se trata de una falla de funcionamiento. Durante la reproducción no se escucha nada: • Suba el volumen de audio de la cámara (p. 20).

4. INSTRUCTIONS 4.1 Insert a memory card 1. Open the cover.
2. Insert the SD/MMC memory card (1 to 32GB) with the beveled edge oriented downward, as shown in the figure.
3. Close the cover. If you close the cover without the memory card correctly in its place, you may damage the camera.
4.2 Camera Installation Place the camera on the camera mount. To attach the camera mount to your car’s windshield, pull down the lever on the suction cup and using the screws place it in the desired position.

4.3 Running on battery power 1. Introduce the battery in the battery compartment to charge it. Make sure the battery placement is
correct. 2. Plug in the Vcc/Vcc adapter to the power to the power input jack on the camera and plug in the other end to the car’s cigarette lighter. Vcc/Vcc power adapter
You can also use the USB cable to connect the camera to a power souce, like a computer or a USB charging device. When the light indicator on the power USB cable button turns off, it means the charge is complete. 3. Once the battery is charged, simply disconnect the camera and press the power button to turn it on and off.
4.3.1 Video recording ( .AVI format) 4. To begin or stop recording, simply press the shutter / selection button in video recording mode . 5. Use the UP (zoom in) and DOWN (zoom out) buttons to
adjust the digital zoom.

Videos are recorded in clips whose duration ( 3, 5, 10, and 15 minutes) can be set in the Video time setting option (see page 14 ). - The camera has a recording space reutilization feature, which means that when the SD/MMC memory card is full, it will begin to overwrite the oldest photos and recordings.

4.4 Running on Vcc/Vcc adapter power 1. Connect the Vcc/Vcc power adapter to the USB power input on the camera and connect the other end to the car’s cigarette lighter.
4.4.1 Video recording ( .AVI format) In this mode, when you start your car you the camera will automatically be activated and will begin recording. If you wish to stop or resume recording, simply press the shutter/ selection button . 2. Use UP (zoom in) and DOWN (zoom out) to adjust the digital zoom.
The camera will save the recordings and deactivate automatically when you turn your car off. 5. MODE OPTIONS Using the options menu, many settings can be adjusted on the camera to suit your needs. To access the CCTV-957 settings: 1. Make sure the camera is turned on. 2. Press MODE to select a mode:
Video recording - Photo capture Preview photos and video 3. To access the settings of Video output, make sure the camera is not currently recording or playing back a video and press MENU. 4. Use DOWN and UP to scroll through the options and press to access and confirm changes.

5.1 Video recording 5.1.2 Video output settings • Size: the camera uses the following video
resolutions: VGA (640 x 480), QVGA (320 x 240, SXGA (1280 x 1024) and HD.
• EV (exposure value): the compensation can
give the image a more luminous (increased exposure) or darker (reduced exposure) appearance. The adjustment of exposure compensation will be automatically reset when the camera is turned off. The options are: (increased exposure) +2.0, +5/3, +4/3, +1,0, +2/3, +1/3, + 0,0, -1/3, -2/3, -1,0, -4/3, -5/3 and -2,0 (reduced exposure)
• White balance: whites balance that helps white objects look truly white. The options are Auto, Natural light, Cloudy, Tungsten and Fluorosc. • Time stamp: activates or deactivates the time and time-date display. • Video Time: established the duration of recording (OFF, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 15 min.) of the videos after pressing the shutter/select button or detecting movement (if Motion
Detect mode is activated). • MotionDetect: activates and deactivates automatic recording. Once the camera detects movement, it will record for the preset amount of time selected in the Video Time settings. Press o if you wish to finish a recording and start a new one.
The recording will stop automatically once the Video Time is over and no more movement is detected. • Record: enable or disable video recording. • Night mode: activates and deactivates night vision function.

You can personalize the camera by selecting your settings for color, sharpness, and saturation. To see the different effects, take some test shots. • Color: Standard, Vivid, Sepia, Monochrome (black and white). • Saturation: adjusts the color saturation between High, Normal, and Low. • Sharpness: Hard, Normal, Soft • Preview: activates or deactivates preview of the image immediately after being taken. • Burst: instead of taking a single photograph, burst mode gives you 3 consecutive

5.3 Viewing photos and video In this mode, you will be able to view photos and video that have been captured. Use DOWN and UP to select the file.
To identify a video, note that in the upper right corner the icon to begin video playback. You can pause the playback pressing

6. CONFIGURATIONS (CONF.) To access configurations (Conf.) make sure that you are not currently recording video or playing back video and press MENU twice, from any mode. Use DOWN and UP to navigate through the options and press

Date and time setting will not change. • Light Freq.: in America and Asia the standard frequency is 60 Hz, while in England, Japan, and Europe it is normally 50 Hz. • TV Output: this setting controls the number of images per second in video recording. By default the camera is set to NTSC (for North America). • Date Input: adjusts date and time on the camera.
It is recommended to adjust date and time to the correct values in case any crucial video you take needs to be used as evidence. It will give veracity to the video captured by your CCTV-957. • USB: be sure to select the option Disk Drive to be able to transfer photos and videos to a computer. • Screen Set: sets the time when the screen turns off.

7. FILE TRANSFER Connecting the camera to a computer will allow for transfer of photographs and video files. For this process, it is important that the camera be configured as a disk drive. To adjust this
setting, follow these steps: - In any of the settings, press MENU twice to enter the configurations menu (Conf.), press
UP once and use
to select the options USB and Disk drive.
• On a PC:
1. Connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable included. 2. From your computer, double-click the My PC icon, then find and double-click on the Removable Disk
Drive. 3. Double-click on the DCIM folder. 4. Double-click the folder 100DSCIM, where the photos and videos are stored. 5. Copy or drag the files to your computer’s hard drive. Now you can view the photos and
videos from your computer. • On a Mac:
1. Connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable included. 2. The computer will recognize the camera as an external drive. Double-click the external drive icon that will appear on your computer desktop to access its files. 3. Copy or drag the files to your computer’s hard drive. Now you can view the photos and
videos from your computer.
When you delete the files from your SD card, you must empty the recycle bin before removing the memory card or disconnecting the camera. If you do not empty the recycle bin, the photos and videos will not be completely eliminated form the SD card.

- If you wish, you can also remove the memory card from your camera an insert it into your computer and manage the files the regular way.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING Camera will not turn on. - Place the charged battery in the battery compartment. - If you wish to use the Vcc/Vcc adapter, be sure to connect it to your car’s cigarette lighter (page 12). - The temperature of the camera is too high. Turn it off and place it in a cool place until its temperature returns to a normal range. You cannot delete images and videos from the camera: - If the image is protected, you will not be able to delete it (page 19). The camera turns off by itself: - Automatic shutoff is enabled. If you do not wish for the camera to turn itself off automatically, adjust the Shutoff setting (page 21). You cannot take photographs: - The SD/MMC may have write-protect mode activated. Slide the write-protect switch to the
Write/Erase position. - The SD/MMC card has not been inserted correctly (page 10).
The buttons don’t work: - During recording and playback of video, the MENU button is disabled.
The battery indicator is not displaying the correct battery charge time: - The ambient temperature is either too high or too low. It is not an equipment failure. There is no audio during playback: - Turn up the camera volume (page 20).
