Since there are three principles to a magnet and three evidences necessary to dem onstrate and make possible these principles of the magnet, these evidences being given, m y student cannot doubt that the human body is a magnet. There is but one more principle to which 1 wish to call the attention of my stude nt. In previous lessons it was stated that the Soul possesses the life force, or in other words, the Soul c o n s i s t s o f t h e v i t a l l if if e fo fo r c e . I t
F or this reason the Mind and the life force are closely related. The Mind is the intelligence w h ic h g o v e r n s th e a ct io n o f th e v it a l fu n c ti o n s an d fo r th is re as on on th t h e M in i n d m u st st G O V E R N T H E A C T IO N O F T H E L I F E FORCE. S i n c e t h e v i t a l li li f e f o r c e , o f w h ic h th e S o u l is c o m p o s e d , is positive electricity, the Mind must govern the action of the positive quality of the life force. The Mind can have no control o v e r th th e a c t i o n o f t h e n e g a t i v e quality of the life force, because this quality is of the earth and its elements and is merely negative or of no actual quality. The foregoing being true, then it follows that through the M ind, its divisions and attributes, funct i o n s a n d f a c u l t i e s , th th e P O S I T I V E q u a l i t ie ie s o f t h e l if if e fo fo r c e, e, or the vital quality itself, can be governed in its action within the human body. INTRODUCTION.
M y s t u d e n t s w i l l fi fi n d t h i s p a r t of my work, to be the greatest proof I can present to uphold my science. T here fore its serious study is strongly advised. My students will note with satisfaction how easily and consistently the physiology of life can be explained with the theory I have already outlined, without deviating from the principles and propo sitions given in previous lessons. Science and medicine offer hundreds of explanations for the v a ri o u s p h en o m en a o f li fe b u t these phenomena are so related that the principles w hich explain one, should explain all of them. B u t t h e y d o n o t . W e f in in d m e d i c i n e an an d s c i e n c e a t v a r i a n c e i n
icine giv ing one exp lanation for the condition known as Hypnosis, while science will give another explanation. It must be apparent that explanations for these phenomena cannot be made to order to suit the v a r io u s e x p e r ie n c e s . T h e p ri n c iples which explain life, mu st explain death, if the explanation or the principles involved be correct. A n e x p la n a ti o n w h ic h is of fe re d to explain the maintenance of life a n d i ts ts a c ti ti o n u p o n t h e b o d y must explain the peculiar physical demonstration known as “physic force vibrations.” Ho w absurd it is to hear science offering variou s explanations for the phenomena known a s S p i r i t u a l i s t ic ic w h e n n o n e o f these explanations embody t he he f u n d a m e n t a l p r i n c i p l e s o f th th e i r t h e o r y o f l i fe fe . It is these things, these inconsistencies which make medicine and science ludicrous theories. Medicine has failed to find a system of curing disease sim ply because it has not found the true principles of life. Sc ience has failed to scientifically explain life simp ly becau se it has failed 10 recognize the true cause of lift. This science is a complete hypothesis which will readily explain, scientifically and consist* ently, all the phenomena of life. This being true, it is the first and only science which has ever been able to do this. Lesson Number Five.

THE RELATION OF THE MIND AND LIFE FORCE.
In previous lessons it was stated that the Soul possesses the life force, or in other words, the Soul consists o f the vital life force. It was also stated that the Soul possesses the Mind as an attribute. For this reason the Mind and the life force are closely related. The Mind is the intelligence which governs the action of the vital functions and for this reason the Mind must GOVERN THE ACTION OF THE LIFE FORCE. Since the vital life force, of which the Soul is composed, is positive electricit electricity, y, the Mind must govern the action o f the positive quality quality o f the life force. The Mind can have no control over the action of the negative quality of the life force, because this quality is of the earth and its elements and is merely negative or of no actual quality. The foregoing being true, then it follows that through the Mind, its divisions and attributes, functions and faculties, the POSITIVE qualities of the life force, or the vital quality itself, can be governed in its action within the human body.
A BRIEF REVIEW.

LIFE.
In my previous lessons I have practically explained what life really is. I shall here briefly outline its creation. For years great men, wise in medicine and science, have been attempting to artificially create life. Loeb, Littlefield, and many others have stated many times that they were interested in such research work. But could anything be more absurd. “Artificial creation.” Are these not contradictory contradictory terms? Can any creation o f life life be artific artificial ial?? If creation o f life is accomplished accom plished at all it must mu st be real, real, genuine. gen uine. To think for f or one moment that there can be a substitution for life, or an artificial force used for creating life, is too absurd for consideration. We cannot believe that this is what is meant by these men when they use the foregoing term. What they do mean is to create life otherwise than through the regular method provided by nature. nature. They do not mean to substitut substitutee nature's laws, but rather to utilize nature’s laws through an artificial or different medium.
