Symptom You want to install SAP Invoice Management by Open Text (OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, VIM) on your system or you want to upgrade your SAP system and you have already installed Add-On packages of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management Solutions on your system.

Reason and Prerequisites As part of the solution "OpenText Vendor Invoice Management" you have an installation image with Open Open Text Vendor Invoice Management downloaded from SAP Service Marketplace.
Solution Please read the documentation to install OpenText Vendor Invoice Management located on the installation CD that also contains the Add-On packages to install or for upgrade. (You may find the list of available Add-On packages in this note below.) Installation Each installation package of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management is protected by a specific password. This password information together with the installation documentation can be found in the "Installation Guide" of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management. The installation guide is located on the installation CD in the folder Documentation\manual\english\vim-igd A list of the required support package/patch package/patch levels on the SAP system can can be found in the Installation Guide for OpenText Vendor Invoice Management. The updated version of the installation guide together with the latest version of the product's Release Notes and further documentation related to OpenText Vendor Invoice Management is also located on the installation CD in folder Documentation and its subfolders. The latest and updated versions of documentation can also be found in the Open Text MySupport (formerly known as Knowledge Center) under the folder dedicated to Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions 7.5 https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/56626733 The support packages and ACP files for the Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions 7.5 are not available in the SAP marketplace.

Notes on the installation of Open Text Business Center (Digital Content Processing) by VIM customers VIM customers are entitled to use OpenText Business Center for SAP Solutions (SAP Digital Content Processing) add-ons to implement additional aspects of Accounts Payable process (limited use). This limited use is covered by the VIM license. VIM customers cannot download Business Center add-ons that are needed for VIM from the SAP Marketplace but only from OpenText My Support. The add-ons are available in the PATCHES area of Vendor Invoice Management, under the dedicated folder Business Center for SAP Solutions 16: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/68833170 Exception - If you have purchased SAP Digital Content Processing from SAP, you must download the add-ons from the SAP Marketplace. Thereby you avoid possible problems when upgrading. Business Center documentation is also provided on OpenText My Support. For installation on SAP S/4HANA, you need Attribute Change Packages (ACPs) for the Business Center add-ons.
