SIMPLE GESTURES TO HELP THE PLANET! For more than a decade, the Tour de France has been implementing measures
designed to reduce its environmental footprint.
Along with organisations such as the Assembly of the Departments of France
(ADF), the Connexions and Gestes Propres - Vacances Propres, you can also be a major player in our campaign.
ON THE TOUR: I sort out recyclable packaging (plastic, glass, paper, cardboard) and batteries; If I’m a smoker I throw my butts in an appropriate place or place or keep them.
I AM A RIDER When I want to dispose of rubbish (bottles, packaging) during the race , I make use of the collection points at the beginning and the end of feed zones, as well as the collection point located 20 kilometres from the finish or at the foot of the
last climb on mountain stages; Away from these areas, I areas, I hand my rubbish to a following car or I keep it in my jersey pockets.
I AM A RACE FOLLOWER I turn off my car engine if engine if I’m stopped for more than a minute; I encourage car-sharing whenever car-sharing whenever possible; I behave responsibly with regard to the environment by reducing my speed (less pollution, less consumption); I use the rubbish bags handed bags handed out at the start of the Tour and can get another one if necessary from the Point Info Tri or from a member of the waste management team; I also use the recycling bins that are available in all areas (the Tour Village, finish areas, petrol stations, the relais-étape mid-stage stops...). If there aren’t any bins available, I keep my rubbish and dispose of it later.

Les mili taires des brigades de recherches complètent ce dispositif pour diligenter les enquêtes judiciares relatives aux faits constatés sur le Tour de France.
OPÉRATION « TÉMOINS DE SÉCURITÉ » Cette opération se déroule dans des communes traversées par le Tour de France. Animée par une équipe de gendarmes spécialisés dans la prévention, elle a pour objectif de sensibiliser les spectateurs aux bons comportements à adopter lors du passage de la caravane publicitaire et des coureurs. Objectif : permettre aux petits et aux grands de participer à cette grande fête populaire sans prendre aucun risque.

Exit point from the race route is after 17.5km (D38-D38 C roundabout at La Barre-de-Monts). Travel the opposite way by which the start was accessed as far as Challans, via La Barre-de-Monts, D38 C, route de Saint-Jean-de-Monts, chemin de la Francinière, la route des Marais, Pont Angelier, L’Aurière, D103, Saint-Urbain, D59, Le Perrier, D753. Approaching Challans, head towards La Roche-sur-Yon on the D205 (rocade nord de Challans – Challans’ northern ring road) then the D948 via Aizenay (rocade). At La Roche-sur-Yon, take the he D160(rocade (rocade nord nord – ring ng road north) then the D948 towards La Rochelle-Niort. At Bournezeau, take the A83 A83 towards towards Niort ort (junction unction 6). Leave the A83 at junction 8, Fontenayle-Comte Centre. Head towards Fontenay-le-Comte on the D938 TER. Coming into Fontenay-le-Comte, continue on avenue du Président François Mitterrand.
