OTN
OTN(Optical Transport Network)
Una red de transporte óptico (OTN) esta compuesta por un
grupo de elementos de red (NE) conectados por enlaces de fibra óptica y está en capacidad de proporcionar funcionalidad de transporte, multiplexación, enrutamiento, administración, supervisión y autosostenimineto de las señales de los clientes de acuerdo a los requerimientos dados en la recomendación G.872 de la ITU.

Hasta 4 señales ODU1 se pueden multiplexar en una señal ODU2 por TDM.
