NetNumen U31 Topology ADD ADD an Agent From main window you can see and create new agent. The Agent is sw part that manage NE. Create Object = Create new agent. It is possible to create element without without physical HW installed. (eg. UR9000 Agent is linked to HW UMP, slot 5-6). For SDR Agent is linked to HW in CC Board.

Software Architecture 

The server software operates in a UNIX or Linux operating system. The supported database type is Oracle. The client software operates in a Windows operating system. Both the client and the server require the support of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM).

Steps >> 1.Enter the directory containing the installation in stallation files files (for example, D:\installation package package name), and then double-click the setup.bat file. The Install dialog box is displayed. 2.Press the Enter key to unzip un zip the installation files to the default path, or enter another path.

4.Click Next. The License Agreement dialog box is displayed. Select I accept the license agreement. 5.Click Next. The Select Installation Style dialog box is displayed. Select an installation style, installation type (Client Program), and a deployment mode (Local system),

6.Click Next. The Select Product dialog box is displayed. Select the products as needed to be installed, and set the installation path.

8.The System Information Detection dialog dialog box is displayed.

9.Click Next. Verify that the Detection Result of all items is Pass, and click Next.

10.Verify that the installation information is correct, and click Install. The Unzip and Copy Files dialog box is displayed, start to unzip and copy Files. 11.After the file copying copy ing and unzipping process is completed, click Next. 

If you need to configure clock server parameters, go to step 12

Starting the EMS Client Steps: 

1.Perform any of the following operations. 

Double-click the U31 Client icon on the desktop. Select Start > All Programs > NetNumen U31 Unified Management System > U31 Client. Enter the ums-client directory in the installation path of the client software, and then double-click client.exe.

On the client, select Start > All Programs > NetNumen U31 Unified Management System > U31 Uninstall Tool. The Uninstall—Clean database and backup selection dialog box is displayed

3.Click Start uninstallation. A message is displayed, asking whether necessary backup is completed. 4.Click Yes. A message is displayed, asking whether to continue uninstallation. 5.Click Yes.
