Weblogic Server
WebLogic is a server software application that runs on a middle tier, between back-end databases and related applications and browser-based thin clients. WebLogic is a leading ecommerce online transaction processing (OLTP) platform, developed to connect users in a distributed computing environment and to facilitate the integration of mainframe applications with distributed corporate data and applications.
Url for login in weblogic console – http://
:/console Weblogic Server start process. There is 2 way to start the server
1. From Console 2. From Command prompt. 1. From Console.
Click on Environment
server
Control then Click on start button.
2. From Command prompt
a. Connect with server using putty b. Go to the specific location Ex- /oracle/middleware/userproject/domain// If Admin start need to start then inside domain we can see the startup script. Like below.

And if any managed server start require then we have to go to till “/bin” location Ex- /oracle/middleware/userproject/domain//bin Like this and start the managed server

Weblogic Server stop process. There is 2 way to stop the server
1. From Console 2. From Command prompt. 1. From Console. Click on Environment Shutdown ”
server
Control click on server Click on “Force
2. From Command prompt
a. Connect with server using putty b. Run “ps –ef | grep java c. Find out the process id of particular server which u wanted to shutdown d. Then kill the server using this command “kill -9
Ex- $ kill -9 21495
3. Important Configuration for Weblogic. a. All the server related important configuration resides in “config.xml” HP Confidential © Copyright 2013 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P Valid agreement required.

This config.xml will be placed in below location.
Ex- /oracle/middleware/userproject/domain//config/
If we do any changes in the configuration level via console or WLST command tool then all the detail will be updated here. b. For Environment set and before running any script for weblogic then We have to set the env 1 st which will be residing in below location.

For running this use this command “./setDomainEnv.sh”
