Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC)
Upto June 2012, direct recruitment of uniformed staff in the post of Forester / Forest Guard / Forest Guard with Diving License / Forest Watcher), who are backbone of Forest protection, was done by obtaining list of eligible candidates from the Employment Exchanges conducting tests and interview.
As the Employment
Exchanges, sponsor eligible candidates based upon their registration seniority the sponsored candidates were found mostly over aged. Such over aged personnel are not suitable for tough job assigned to uniformed staff.
