FIRST THINGS FIRST: WHAT IS TIME, REALLY? Most people, when they think about time and time travel, think of time as almost being a separate specific “world” that exists independent of the “now”, that the moment that happened before this one somehow existing separately from this. And that the only way to experience that moment that has just passed would be to “go back” to that separate “world”, that “place” in time. Time doesn’t really exist in this way. Clocks have been created to “keep track” of, compartmentalize, and define “time”, which is really an illusion and does not exist in the same way that people think it does. The essence of time is CHANGE. Time is simply the MEASUREMENT OF THE CHANGING AND RE-ARRANGING OF ATOMS. But not only that, it is also OUR PERCEPTION OF THIS CHANGE. That’s all it is. If things stopped changing, if the atoms that make up the physical universe “stood still”, then it should be obvious that time would also stand still. And if the atoms that made up the physical universe changed very slowly, then time in turn would pass much more slowly. When we see things “change”: buildings being knocked down, new buildings being built, new books being written, new songs being composed, planes flying overhead, physical bodies aging and looking older… This is how you know that “time” is passing and has “passed” – it is the TRUE MEASURE of time; not the clock on the wall. The “clock on the wall” is a huge “smokescreen” that you (and everybody else) has bought into. The clock is there to remind us that, when we see the big hand on the clock move from 1 to 2, we know five minutes has passed: the clock HAS CHANGED, it has moved at a finite rate, the atoms in the clock re-arranging themselves at a steady rate that can be measured so we “know” time is passing. The “powers that be” want us to all be having the exact same, “uniform” experience of time, so that it will more or less pass at the same “agreed upon” rate. You don’t have to buy into this agreement, and to break agreement of this is the first step in controlling and manipulating TIME ITSELF. Read on.
THE WORLD IS A BIG CLOCK
Just as we can “see” time passing before our eyes by watching the movement of the hands of a clock, we can alternately look around the world and “see” time passing by all the time. Taking it a step further, we can remove the battery from our clock, stopping it dead in it’s tracks and let the CHANGE WE SEE IN THE WORLD dictate the “rate” at which time is passing. This method of “observing”, experiencing and measuring time is not only subjective, it is also subject to manipulation quite easily as will be explained later. But with the hands of the clock we can see EXACTLY how much time has passed, in the way that it is being “shown” to you – in this way, it could be said that time has been RATIONED and CREATED by the powers that be (teachers, governments, scientists and other authorities). It should be obvious that there are a lot of problems with “agreeing with the clock”. It means that you are giving up control to the pre-determined rationing of time. Giving up control to slow down time, to stop time, to speed up time or to even go back in time, if just for a quick visit. It means that you only have so many years of life as agreed upon with the rest of the world through the advent of the system of clocks and calendars. And WORST OF ALL, it takes out of your control the rate at which you AGE. You have control over these things. As incredible as this seems, by the time you’re finished with this book, you will fully understand this statement, and what’s more, you will have an arsenal of specific tools in which to take control not only of time, but also of your so-called chronological age, and the rate at which you are getting older – and much more.
USING THE WORLD AS A CLOCK Using the “world” as a clock is far less of an exact science than the movement of the hands of a clock – which is a GOOD thing for our purposes. It means we matter. It means we can now FIGURE INTO THE EQUATION. Things will no longer just “happen”, we can now decide not just WHAT happens, but also how it happens and how fast it’s happening. As an observer of life, we have everything to DO with life. We might not always have known it, but we have direct control of how fast or slow time passes by. We not only observe events, we actually CHANGE them by the very act of our judgments, evaluations, and attitudes we have while in the act of this observation. The event is different
simply by virtue of the fact that it is being observed, and it’s outcome is affected by the observer. This is a known scientific FACT, but it never occurs to us that time is absolutely no different in this respect. When you sit there and stare at a clock, time is going to pass pretty much at the same rate because that is what clocks were designed to do: move in a rationed, unchanging, pre-determined rate, and supposedly it’s for the good of all society that we agree upon the rate at which it seems to change. But when you actually USE THE WORLD as a clock, you will experience time very, very differently. You can manipulate the physical universe in order to make time go faster or slower: AND THIS WORKS. There are methods of going back in time or contacting and affecting the past (which have been closely guarded “shadowy” secrets until now), manipulate time and even the way you age in relation to the rest of the world. These findings are really quite remarkable, and I will do my best to explain them to you in a way that you will actually be able to USE these techniques.
THE MORE CHANGE THERE IS, THE FASTER TIME “FLIES” Time is passing by much quicker for us today than it did 100 or 200 or 5,000 years ago. That is because things changed very slowly in the past compared to the rate at which they do today. I want you to think about this question for a moment: What is the difference between now and, say, the world back in 1975? The most obvious, and most important differences would be that: #1: there are people who were alive in 1975 who are no longer alive today. #2: there are people who are alive today who were not born yet in 1975. Beyond that, the physical world is different: there are buildings today that didn’t exist then, there were buildings that existed then that don’t exist now. There are books, technologies, TV shows, movies, songs and albums that didn’t exist yet in 1975. ALL OF THESE THINGS (from 1975) STILL EXIST (for the most part and can be experienced via recorded media, books, buildings, etc.) FOR US TODAY THOUGH! All of the books, TV shows, movies and albums that they had in 1975 can still be enjoyed today – and then some! This is an
extremely important concept to understand, as it will allow us to bend and manipulate time to one degree or the next in the exercises that follow. So… we know 1975 happened a “long time ago” simply because there are so many things that linger from that era today, and there has been a huge collection of things that have happened from then until now. We have seen “the world” change, so we know that time has passed. There has been an awful lot of change, so we know that an awful lot of time has passed. It is also worth noting that as a direct result of the physical allocation of atoms indicative of a certain “time period” (the way things WERE during a certain year, the man who was President, the number 1 billboard song hit, the “big movie” at the box office, military operations, news stories, etc), the collective thoughts (and thus judgments and evaluations) of people within the world will be affected. That is to say that there are thoughts that back in 1975 would have been impossible to have (one wouldn’t be able to think of an iPod, for example, as it hadn’t been invented yet). Thoughts are the only other thing that gets mixed up in and with time, and makes it a much grander subject than it seems on the surface. This is GOOD NEWS, because our feelings, judgments and evaluations in the course of our “observation” of change (forward or back) will allow us to affect and manipulate time. We can, however, still very much have “1975 thoughts” by studying the year through writings, photographs, films, books, music and such because we KNOW what happened, and we know how things “were”. This is very important as will be explained later in the book.
THE MACROCOSM AND MICROCOSM OF TIME Looking at time as a macrocosm (a complex system seen as a single unit; the world or universe as a single entity that contains numerous, similar smaller scale structures), we would think of the year 1975 as an “imprint in time”, that is to say that the WORLD IN 1975 WOULD BE ARRANGED IN A VERY SPECIFIC WAY: There would only be certain types of cars, certain types of music, only certain buildings would exist, etc. The “way things were” (the way the specific atoms that made up the world were arranged) is the very stuff that made 1975 be 1975, and our judgments and evaluations are what made this period of time “special”. When people think of “going back in time”, they usually think about returning to the macrocosm of time (ie: putting the atoms back and re-arranging them in the
exact same way throughout the world as they were in the period we think about as being 1975, including returning all of the people who have passed away since then back to life), which would require either GODLIKE ability or some radical, advanced TECHNOLOGY that is far, far beyond our comprehension.
Looking at time as a microcosm (a miniature copy of something, especially when it stands for or represents a larger whole), we would think of small “pieces” or parts of the world as it was in 1975, small “imprints in time” that have remained unchanged while the rest of the world had changed around it. A MUSEUM could be such a microcosm. A “restored” classic automobile would be such a microcosm. Even a book published in 1975 and read today could be looked upon as such a microcosm. So, as you can see, controlling time as a macrocosm is very, very difficult and not in our current scope of abilities. Controlling time as a microcosm, however, is COMPLETELY within the scope of our abilities and absolutely doable. And it is taking control of these microcosms that will allow us to mold and bend time, and even possibly affect the way we AGE in relation to the rest of the physical universe. The reason that this works is because the microcosm is inexorably connected to the macrocosm. It was a part if it, it IS a part of it, and it always will be a part of it. And it is a direct LINK to the macrocosm. And it still has a direct effect on the macrocosm. And we have an awful lot of control over it. Come to think of it, we have an awful lot of control over EVERYTHING.
HOW WE UNCONSCIOUSLY MANIPULATE TIME We all know the story of someone who has a sudden, unexpected death in the family. Quite often, the family will keep the room of the deceased EXACTLY as they left it: They will leave the clothes in the drawers, the bed made, the book in the exact spot on the nightstand with the bookmark in the same page they left off on. The brush on the vanity remains unmoved. As if somehow, leaving everything “exactly the same as they left it” the person might return. Or at the very least “stop time” so that they won’t be getting further and further away from the person who they have been permanently separated from. Some would say this is morbid. I submit to you that this is simply the family’s crude (but somewhat effective) way of “stopping time”. An attempt to keep as short a leash as possible on the life of the person they had lost. After all, if the items were removed from the room, and it became used for another purpose such
as a study or library, then this would be very strong confirmation that time was passing, that the passing of the time was being “accepted” and that the “gap” between them and the person they have lost would just get wider and wider and wider as “time” passed by. By leaving the room exactly the way it was as a “time capsule” (some would say “time machine”) of sorts, they are absolutely staying closer to the person who had died, and closer to “the situation of the person still being alive”. They might even deep inside have a feeling that by leaving the room exactly the same for years and years that they could, from time to time, go into that room and talk to the person, and that the person would be able to “hear” them as if they were talking to them when they were still alive. As morbid or superstitious as this sounds, these people are on to something, and there is a lot of wisdom in this primitive thought as will be discussed in detail. See, the people are accomplishing this (the slowing down of the passage of time) by “accident”. They don’t quite “know” why they want to keep the room the same, they can’t seem to put their finger on it. They just know that it makes them feel better, feel closer to the person, and keeps that “gap” between them and “the situation of the person still being alive” much, much smaller. Other ways in which people manipulate and slow down time, and even attempt to “go back” in time is to collect something from the past. They accumulate vast collections of dolls, baseball cards, toys from their past, or old coins in an effort to establish a connection with the past. That is usually their goal. Ultimately, they wind up feeling frustrated or unfulfilled because they leave it half done: they attempt to establish that connection in time, but fail to identify this as their goal, and barring any further investigation, they wind up with a collection of bits and pieces from the past, and they always feel like there’s something missing. People, human beings, are generally pretty poor at enduring time. They sometimes get old and sick and eventually die. Objects in the physical universe are much, much more impervious to the ravages of time. This is another reason that people “latch onto”, collect, hoard, and become obsessed with things which are much more solid and durable than they are, so that some of this durability can “rub off” on them. They are consciously unaware of this motive, but it DOES WORK to some degree! Could you imagine if someone realized what was happening, why they were doing what they were doing, and USED this to become more powerful. That is the direction this entire book is pointed in.
Creating a science of our attitudes and motivations with regard to time that are always “lurking under the surface”, for we’ve been taught not to question time, let alone demand to know what time is. When someone collects coins, for example, it is a way of experiencing the past (traveling backwards in time) through the microcosm that IS STILL VERY MUCH PART OF and connected to a larger macrocosm that can – to one degree of the next – still be experienced via this microcosm and or influence the entire macrocosm. So a person goes through their coin collection. Perhaps they are looking at coins they are minted way before they were born. They stare at the coin and study it. This coin was around during the time it was minted, no doubt about it. This coin is a microcosm that WAS part of that macrocosm. More importantly, this coin also IS a part of that macrocosm. It is a connection to the macrocosm, a doorway to the macrocosm, and - to someone who knows what they are doing – a “doorway” to that macrocosm. But how could that be? Is it a part of THIS macrocosm (since you can see it right here), or is it a part of THAT macrocosm, say a coin minted in 1939 a microcosm of the 1939 macrocosm. It is both. The coin is a “key” that unlocks the present as well as 10 years ago as well as 40 years ago, all the way back to the time it was minted. This hints at the theory that there is no “linear” time, that everything is somehow all happening at once. But for the purposes of this book, we are not running with that theory or any other besides the idea that time is simply a measurement of the change, and our perception of that measurement.
TAKING CONTROL: CONSCIOUSLY MANIPULATING TIME Just with what you’ve learned so far, light bulbs should be flashing on and off above your head. Now that you understand the nature of time and that you have a great deal of control over certain aspects of it, you are poised to begin USING the information in this book to wield a power that those around you couldn’t possibly comprehend. It is one thing to manipulate time unconsciously – we all do it (or should I say, make a feeble attempt at doing it while not knowing WHY we’re doing it), as
has already been illustrated. It is quite another to actually know what you are doing, know why you’re doing it, and most of all knowing HOW to do it. There are many examples in this book of little “tricks” you can use to manipulate time that have proven very effective for the people who have had and put this knowledge into practice. Do not limit yourself to these techniques, for I’m sure that as you come to fully comprehend all of this, you will think of lots of things you can do to manipulate time.
WHAT DO ALL PERIODS OF TIME IN ALL HISTORY HAVE IN COMMON? OK, we have established that: 1) Time is the measurement of the rate of change and re-arranging of atoms in the physical universe, and also very much dependent upon: 2) Our perception of said measurement. It could be argued that there would be nothing to measure if there wasn’t an “observer” to measure it. So these two ideas are dependent upon each other, and work together as the “magical recipe” for that thing which we call “time”. The fact the we have “something to do with” time is a very powerful concept and is the very thing which allows us to make it happen the way we want it to happen. So… we know that one common denominator of time is “change” as per the first part of the definition, but focusing on the second part of the description of time, “the perception of the actual measurement of change in location in the atoms of the universe”, we must ask ourselves: what is the second “common denominator”? That second common denominator is SILENCE and NOTHINGNESS. Think about it: all of the thoughts in this universe that anyone has ever thought, any and all words or speeches uttered in the history of mankind… the ONE THING THAT NEVER CHANGED FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS are the “cracks” in between the thoughts. In between the sentences. The silence, nothingness, nonobservance and non-being-ness that “cement” it all together so that it could all be communicated and understood. The silence is necessary for thought to exist in, just as silence between the guitar chords and drum beats also make music possible.
TIME TRIPPING: HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH & CONTACT ANY TIME IN HISTORY There is one “sure fire” way to “get in touch with” and “experience” any given time in history, and that is to experience silence and nothingness. The reason for this is that silence and nothingness have remained EXACTLY THE SAME since the beginning of time. There has been absolutely no change. And the best way to get in touch with this silence and nothingness (and thus “transport” yourself temporarily to another time) is by the act of MEDITATION. Meditation is simply the act of “stilling of the mind”, it is a state attained for a period of time where no thoughts are thought or had. It is truly pure silence and pure nothingness. It is the cracks and spaces between all thought, between all words, between all evaluations, between all emotions. The easiest and most popular way to meditate is to repeat a “mantra”. A mantra is a short word or phrase which is spoken over and over again (silently in the mind) by the person who is meditating. The most popular mantra in transcendental meditation (meditation that “transcends”, or by-passes the process of thought itself) is the short sound “OM”. Now, this isn’t exactly pure silence nor is it pure nothingness, but it comes close. Eventually, with practice, you’ll be able to get in touch with pure silence and pure nothingness, but this is very, very difficult to do. This is the next best thing for now.
Think about it: You have a guy in 1975 meditating. He is repeating the mantra “OM” over and over again, and that is his entire experience. It is his entire perception of the world during the time that he is meditating. It IS the world. OK, now you have a guy in the present time. He is meditating. He is repeating the mantra “OM” over and over again, and that is his entire experience. It is his entire perception of the world. It IS THE WORLD. Now what is the difference between these guys? What is the difference between their experience, their world? Even who they are? NOTHING! At least not during the time that they are meditating! Now think about this: Let’s say (for the sake of argument) that you were around
in 1975 (or pick whatever year you want). You were meditating in 1975, you were really good at it, and were excellent at stilling your mind and experiencing nothingness, blocking out the entire world with the exception of that silence and nothingness which are the cracks in between all thought, evaluations and perception. Now, consider that it is the present day. You fondly recall the days in which you meditated back in 1975. So you decide to brush up on your meditation and begin meditating now. You’re really good, you are stilling your mind, you are experiencing nothingness, you are blocking out the entire world with the exception of the silence and nothingness which are the cracks between all thought, evaluations and perception. Do you see what I’m getting at? Who’s to say if you sit down and meditate just as you did in 1975 that, during the time you are meditating (where and when nothing else seems to matter because it cannot be evaluated), that you are not actually returning to that time? How would you know? How do you know that you are not somehow transporting yourself back in time, for the duration of the time you are meditating? I submit to you that the meditating “you” in 1975 and the meditating “you” in the present time have established a “time portal” between you-then and you-now. This is by no means the only way to establish such a portal though.
“THE SECRET INGREDIENT” TO TIME TRIPPING The secret ingredient to making it so that when you meditate in the present time, you are actually connecting with the time you meditated back in 1975 as if through a “magic portal” is simply stating that it is so, and making it so that it is so. You are in charge of your own life and your own experience and it will be, is, and always have been what you make of it. Most of us have forgotten this. But if you can make something become real to you, then it becomes real for you. You don’t need anybody else to agree with this.
HOW TO “VISIT” PERIODS OF TIME IN THE DISTANT PAST It is believed by a small group of time travel enthusiasts that ANY period of time can be “visited” through “purposeful meditation”, since silence has ALWAYS been the same, and nothingness has always been the same, that using this method as a magical “portal” to time travel can facilitate a visit to any period in
time. This is one of their secret rituals.
EXPERIMENT #1: HOW TO VISIT THE YEAR 1939 Obtain a COIN from the year 1939. For some reason, experimenters favor a 1939 mercury dime. Sit on the floor or lay in bed, holding the 1939 coin in your hand. Now, say to yourself over and over again “The year is 1939”. Say this at least 10 times, and really believe it. Completely clear your mind and think of nothing. Repeat this word in your head over and over again, and nothing else: “Om”. Just keep speaking silently in your mind over and over again “Om, om, om, om”. Do this for 20 minutes. It is very important that you don’t think any thoughts between “the year is 1939” and the beginning of your “om” mantra, or any other thoughts AT ALL during this process. I learned this technique from a group of self-styled “time travelers” in the 1980’s. Some people have claimed to have actually gone back to 1939. Others have claimed that people have gotten “lost” doing this and had gotten stuck in back 1939, never being seen again. They then scoured old newspapers and historical records looking for signs and messages that their lost comrade left for them. In situations like this, even though it has not been proven, it is sincerely hoped by all of those involved that “parallel universes” exist (a “split off” timeline in which their friend is there with them and had never done the 1939 experiment). They also took steps to reach out through the theoretical thin veil that separates us from an alternate reality happening side by side, with mixed results. There isn’t enough room in this book to bring parallel universes into all of this, besides it would take the focus off the main scope of this book. And others yet simply claim to return from their meditation with an indescribable feeling of what it’s like to be alive in the 1939 timeline, as if they had been there and back, but the memory of the visit is just out of reach, as if mostly erased upon “returning”, remembering only “snippets” of the visit but having much additional insight into what things were like during that year.
I think the latter is much more plausible then the former, though I never look upon anything as being impossible, because then you close off that possibility for sure. I personally have not “woken up” in a different world, but I have had some VERY INTERESTING EXPERIENCES using this technique, and have gained information that I didn’t seem to have before. I hope you also have some very interesting experiences of your own.
VISITATION OF THE PAST BY WAY OF SENSORY SYNCHRONIZATION One interesting and very easy method of getting a line on a time period in the distant past would be to use a movie from that period as a “focal point” to create a time portal. This method is very simple, and is somewhat similar to “purposeful meditation” only instead of following the silence through time, you are connecting with a specific pattern indicative of the time which you are trying to contact. Start by picking a movie shown during the time period you are trying to connect with. Let’s say you wish to connect with the year 1946 in order to feel closer to a long deceased relative. Pick out a movie from that year, and place the DVD or VHS tape in the tape player. Before pushing “play”, sit quietly with the lights out to block out any sensory input from the present time. Say “I wish to visit the year 1946. I will be among those who lived in 1946. I will watch what they watched, and think as they thought. Things will be for me as they were for them.” Now, press “play” and really watch the movie just as you would have in a theatre in 1946. Do not think any “modern thoughts”. If you think about eating, make the restaurant non-specific. Become thoroughly engrossed in the film, just as a patron of the theatre would have in 1946. This is a great exercise for connecting with the past. It should be noted that this exact same principal also works with reading a good book or listening to some good music from the past. If you can avoid “modern thoughts”, think as they did while you were listening to that album, become engrossed in that book written in 1975, and imagining that it is still that year, then you are definitely “bending time” and moving closer to it actually BEING that year. And as incredible as it
sounds, this little microcosm that you’re creating can – theoretically and potentially – HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE ENTIRE MACROCOSM IN THE PAST THAT YOU ARE CONNECTING WITH, which can change past events, and have a direct effect on the “NOW”. There are those who claim that in using techniques such as this – if done just right, and with enough power and energy – that “ideas” can be taken back and “planted” in the year 1946 (or any other year), energy fields can be changed, things can be “shaken up” and world events in the past could even be influenced. I’ve heard it said that to effectively and successfully do these things can be dangerous. Oh, and by the way, in case you haven’t already guessed: there are people “in the know” (secret societies and such) who definitely do NOT want you to have this knowledge. Keep your time travel experiments on the “down low”.
POCKET “ZONES” ON EARTH THAT ARE UNTOUCHED BY TIME Certainly, throughout the galaxy, a vast portion of space remains relatively untouched by time. The Moon, for example, basically stayed the same for countless millions of years – time simply didn’t pass on the moon. If you lived on the moon, and didn’t do anything to affect the environment, time wouldn’t really pass with the exception of the change to your own body. On Earth, it’s a whole new ball game. The earth is a planet that is not only overrun by people who are constantly changing things, it is also being shaped by the erosion of water, wind, rain, sun and ice, as well as our reactions, thoughts, udgments, observations and evaluations which change events. But in the world we live in, in which Earth factors in the most, there are “pockets” where time stands still. Some examples of this are: MUSEUMS – A museum with a finite set of displays which have not been shifted around, and a building which has not underwent a major renovation that has been in business since the early 1940’s would be a very good example of this. Your “experience” in visiting this museum would theoretically be exactly the same whether you visited in 2005, 1995, 1985, 1975, 1965, 1955 or 1945 with the EXCEPTION of:
1) The actual people involved in facilitating the museum’s experience, and 2) The evaluations and thoughts in your very own mind while visiting. If you could visit the museum without having “modern thoughts” (say, thoughts of things that didn’t exist after 1975), then you have come very close to actually traveling back into 1975, for the period of time in which you are visiting the museum. You could also use this experience to send MESSAGES to yourself back in 1975, or to others in the past. The experience is bringing you closer (much, much closer) to a seemingly long-lost macrocosm. If you want to send a message into the past, the first step is getting closer, so that it can “hear” your message… NATURAL TIME SANCTUARIES – Go to a national park like Zion and take a look around. I have, and it struck me when looking around at the awesome rock structures that are basically untouched and unspoiled by man that I was seeing the EXACT SAME THING that somebody would have seen walking through these rocks 1 million years ago. Any time you come across something vast and natural, untouched by man, you can get in touch with the same stuff that made up the past. RESTORED AUTOMOBILES – A time machine with style. People who restore automobiles from the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s to where the car is exactly as it would have been when it rolled off the assembly line all those years ago are unwittingly creating potential little time machines. They DO THIS so they can get in touch with the past on some unconscious level that they can’t quite put their finger on. Could you imagine what they could accomplish if they knowingly took things a step further, with awareness of what they were actually trying to accomplish? STARING AT THE OCEAN - When you sit on the beach and stare out into the ocean, you are certainly seeing things much the same if not exactly the same as someone who was sitting there 100, 200, or 1000 years ago. If you block out all of the perceptions, judgments and evaluations from your mind, this is a form of manipulating time in the sense that there is “no difference” between the “now” and the “then”. If you had been to the beach as a child, for example, this would facilitate a great opportunity to send a message to yourself mentally, while you were at the beach, in the past.
HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN “ANTI-AGING” TIME PORTAL This sounds complicated, but it’s very easy to do, and the process is quite simple. Pick out a space, or a room (some people even use the ENTIRE HOUSE as a giant “time machine”) and create it in such a way that it becomes a “time capsule” that would be indistinguishable from something out of the time that you are trying to “visit”. The idea would be that, if someone from the distant past walked into the room they would not feel anything out of the ordinary. Not just that, but since this is a very personal thing, you would put into this “time capsule” things which YOU were familiar with way back then. So, if you were trying to re-create your childhood home, the first step would be to scour the photo albums, and put everything in your house back together again just like that. There are people, for example (an extreme case, to be sure) that inherit or purchase the home in which they grew up in. They then – going by memory or by old pictures – try to RE-CREATE the house exactly as it was when they grew up in it, so that their own children can in turn grow up in the EXACT SAME environment that they grew up in. This might sound crazy to you, but it is amazingly effective in actually DOING the very thing it is designed to accomplish. Let’s create a “microcosm” of this very idea:
EXERCISE #2: CREATE YOUR OWN PERSONAL TIME “PORTAL” For this exercise, we’re going to pick out 1 room of your home in which you will RE-CREATE THE ROOM YOU GREW UP IN AS A TEEN-AGER. Go by memory if you have to. Go by old pictures. Try to make everything EXACTLY the same as it was back when you were growing up at year peak, around 17 years of age. Get the exact same bed, or as similar as you can get. Place the bed in the same POSITION in the room relative to the door and the window if possible. Stock the room with all of the record albums you used to have. Or tapes if you listened to cassette tapes. If you had posters on your wall, make sure the exact same posters are up there on the wall in their correct spot in your re-creation of the room. Get the same books you used to read, track down back issues of old magazines you used to read, the whole 9 yards. Make the re-creation of your teenage room as CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to the original that it is re-presenting. Have NOTHING in the room that could not have
existed during that time period; if you are trying to re-create 1975, for instance, then an album that came out in 1976 or 1978 would be completely unacceptable. If you pay attention to detail, it can become very, very close to ACTUALLY BEING THE SAME ROOM! Use this room as your magical sanctuary, your secret “time machine”. Sit in the room, and say to yourself (for example): The year is 1983. I am 17 years old. The year is 1973. I am 17 years old. You are creating a “microcosm” (small piece of) the macrocosm that was and is 1983. And if it’s convincing enough, the macrocosm will accept it as part of itself, it won’t be able to tell the difference! This is certainly a form of time travel. And while I can’t exactly prove it, there are those in the time travel community that swear that spending time in your “time traveling sanctuary” can actually BEND TIME BACK, REVERSE the clock and cause you to actually appear PHYSICALLY YOUNGER… if not actually become chronologically younger.
HOW TO SPEED UP TIME & MOVE QUICKLY INTO THE FUTURE Do you remember being in class when you were in school, and if it was slow and there was nothing to do (there was a substitute teacher, for example that just ran a “study hall”) and time just seemed to DRAG? Well, the reason for this is that by not having anything to do, you had to rely on the movement of the hands of the clock to dictate the rate at which time was passing. When there was a TEST, however, you were so busy manipulating those atoms with the pencil, making judgments and evaluations about the “right” and “wrong” answer that, before you knew it, the bell rang and it was time to go home! Things were moving rapidly, and time moved along with it because TIME WAS THE MOTION! So, in order to make time go by as fast as possible, there should be a lot of business and a lot of change. The house should be re-arranged often. Books should be read. The things you think about should change. New people and new experiences constantly should keep time humming along. The largest amount of change in the shortest period of “chronological” time will make time go by very fast indeed. And it’s not just that it will “SEEM” to go by faster, it really WILL go by faster.
HOW TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP TIME Conversely, in order to slow down time, you would keep movement and change to a minimum. The house would look the same, the yard would look the same, and if you read a book or watched something on TV, it would be something that you had already read in the past. Keep things looking the same. Keep the furniture in the same place. Don’t move things around or change things. Associate with the same people, don’t bring new people into the fold. Some people like to take a virtual “snapshot” of their life, that is to say, they say to themselves “my life is perfect at this moment. I want to stretch this moment out for the rest of my life – for ETERNITY!” – they then seek to keep their life exactly the same as it is, or as close as possible (since as the macrocosm around you changes, it pushes you very hard for change as well). Since everything was so great to begin with, they just try to duplicate every moment with the same perfection. This works great for single and older people. They try to “stop time” when it reaches perfection. There is great wisdom in this, and IT WORKS! The only thing is, if they don’t know what they’re doing, they’ll unknowingly make a change, they’ll make a move, meet a new friend, or do something to DISRUPT their perfect life. And then they wonder how and why “everything went wrong”. People with children often try to do this, saying “oh, if I could just keep them little forever”, but those things are way out of their control; the children grow up, and the change is so rapid that time moves very fast, indeed!
HOW TO GO BACK IN TIME There have already been quite a few methods mentioned thus far about “going back” in time. To GO BACK in time, you not only have to stop time from going forward, you not only have to stop time, but you also have to do one better than stopping time: you have to PUT THE ATOMS BACK THE WAY THEY WERE AT THE TIME YOU WANT TO GO BACK TO (SEE “EXERCISE
#2). Of course, we are speaking on the scale of a “microcosm” of time travel (covered earlier). While affecting things on a “macrocosm” is possible through absolute power over the “microcosm” (see “Exercise #2), a full scale reversal of the macrocosm of the world back to the year 1975 is beyond the scope of what has thus far been accomplished in time travel. But a full-scale reversal of time for just 1 room (as discussed in example #2) or in an entire house is absolutely possible, and what’s more, it’s DOABLE with the knowledge we have right now! So turning back time on a microcosmic scale is relatively easy, and we have shown you many examples on how to do that in this book. Just because you don’t have absolute time power on a macrocosmic scale, doesn’t mean you don’t have SOME POWER over “worldly time”. On the contrary, I want you to fully be aware that the MICROCOSM and the MACROCOSM are intimately connected. You CANNOT affect the microcosm without having SOME EFFECT on the macrocosm, and you cannot have an effect in the macrocosm that does not show up in the microcosm!! BOTTOM LINE: when you are doing the “time manipulation” techniques in this book, you are affecting the ENTIRE FABRIC OF TIME – to a greater or lesser degree, depending on how profound your AUTHORITY is over the microcosm. And that depends on the detail in which you re-construct time, and your very own judgments and evaluations about what you’re doing.
HOW “SNAPSHOTS” OF YOUR “TIMELINE” CAN BE REVISITED, RE-CONSTRUCTED AND USED TO MANIPULATE TIME AS A WHOLE When we look at life, when we look at “our world”, it is made up of a very small, finite “sphere of perception”. What I mean by that, is that life is constructed of the things that you perceive, the things you think about, and the things you concentrate on. You’re perceiving a lot of things, countless millions of them every day in fact. But it is only a small handful of things that you consistently think about and
focus on that make up what is called “the life experience”.
THE LIFE EXPERIENCE FOCUS The “Life Experience Focus” is a collection of about a dozen “things” that are and or were important to you at any given time. It is the stuff that makes up different periods of our life, as well as making those periods both different and special. Think of the “Life experience focus” as a LIST of things that are important to you, the top 10 or 12 that you focus on most. This list changes at a fairly fast rate from year to year, some people’s life experience changes faster than some others. For example, zeroing in on one focus from the “list”, you can have a person who begins collecting stamps or coins when he is 10 years old, and then continues doing that until he is in his 80’s. This will slow time down for him. In another example, you have someone who at 10 years old begins collecting stamps, then at 12 he begins collecting comic books, then at 14 he begins collecting coins, then at 16 he begins collecting “hot rod” magazines, then at 18 he begins collecting baseball cards, and on and on. He has, in this narrow scope, a more quickly changing life experience. This will speed up time for him. Now these two examples focus on just ONE area (of around a dozen, give or take) of a “life experience focus.
EXERCISE #3: HOW TO MAP THE “TIMELINE” OF YOUR LIFE’S EXPERIENCE The easiest way to do this is to go year by year, even though certain “eras” of your life may encompass several years. The following exercise, which will be explained in great detail, a great way to really LOOK at your life and really begin to understand how and why things happened in your life. It really lets you “SEE” how you got from point “A” to point “B”, from where you started out to where you are now. You’ll have a lot of “A-ha” moments, but more importantly for the purpose of this book, you will find specific WAYS to create a “time capsule” that will allow you to put the microcosm (that you will make up and reconstruct from your list) of your life at any given time period RIGHT BACK WHERE IT WAS. This is very exciting stuff, and I hope by now you can begin to feel the gravity of the implications of this, and how you can use it to your
benefit. On a piece of paper, create a bunch of vertical columns. At the top of each column, write the year representative of your life, beginning from as early as you can remember in your childhood Now, for each year, begin making a list of as many things as you can think of that, during that time, MADE UP YOUR LIFE (warning: early lists will be shorter than later lists). Put all of the significant things in your life. The people you were closest to, the friends you had, the grade you were in school, the music and specific albums you were listening to, the TV programs you watched, the magazines or books you were reading, etc. These were the things that made up your life ITSELF, because they were the things you were focusing on and more or less collectively made up the totality of your experience. Sure, you REMEMBER all of these things in your mind, but it all gets kind of thrown together. Until you begin to put it down and paper and really look at it, it’s difficult to see HOW things happened. Oh, you know they happened, and you might even know why they happened, but when you put it down on paper, you can really see how it’s all interconnected. And before long, you begin to see how the microcosm of your life may have theoretically profoundly influenced the entire macrocosm. It should be obvious to you that the macrocosm (imprint of the entire world at that specific time period) profoundly influenced your world which existed within this macrocosm on a smaller scale. The two really are dependant upon, and play off of each other. Now, when you are compiling your lists under each year of your life, you may notice that things, sometimes MANY things can “overlap” from one year to the next. If the list for the year 1978, for example is very, very similar to the year 1979 (there will almost always be at least one or two extra things in 1979 that weren’t there in 1978 and vice versa), then I’d be willing to bet that that period of time went by very slow for you. So, you can look at the list from 1978 and see very little change from the list in 1979.. just a little change. But you look at the list from 1984, and it will probably look very, very different from the 1979 list. WHAT YOU ARE SEEING IS THE ACTUAL PASSAGE OF TIME (change + perception of that change = passage of time). There’s probably at least one thing on the list five years on, but maybe your best friend moved away, your favorite TV shows have gone off the air, the
corner store that you walked to every day during the summer to get a coke has closed down, another has opened up across the street…. These are all functions of TIME. The change itself, and how you FEEL about and observe that change. Let’s look at some teenage years, for example, as these are the most fun. This list is from a friend of mine who belongs to our time travel enthusiast circle: 1985: 11th grade high school, Nintendo game system, Duran Duran, girlfriend Jenna, best friend Leroy, roller skating at “skateland”, the after school wrestling team, Mom and Dad, watching scary movies every Saturday night, mowing the neighbor’s lawns for cash, smoking behind parents back. 1986: 12th grade high school, Nintendo game system, Duran Duran, Best friends Leroy and Dennis, dungeons and dragons after school, Mom and Dad, watching scary movies every Saturday night, mowing neighbors lawns for cash, smoking behind parents back NOTE that the years 1985 and 1986 are very similar. However, in 1986, he broke up with Jenna. Jenna moved away, and he gained a new friend, Dennis. He stopped going to skateland because that was something he did with Jenna, quit the wrestling team and started playing dungeons and dragons with a group of people (which is where he met Dennis), and everything else stayed the same, was still a big fan of Nintendo and Duran Duran, etc. Now, let’s move on to 1990: 1990: Living in own apartment, job at the car wash, Sega Genesis video game system, new girlfriend Lissa, Best friend Josh, going to the bar on Saturday nights, smoking cigarettes openly, smoking marijuana, big Guns N Roses fan, shooting pool, shooting darts, collecting VHS video tapes, saving up for college. As you can see, hopping right from 1985 to 1990, his life was significantly different. Some of the things on these lists may seem trivial and mundane, but they were what was important to him AT THAT TIME, and are therefore important when re-constructing the timeline.
USING “TEMPLATES” FROM YOUR TIMELINE FOR TIME TRAVEL PURPOSES Use the items on your “list” as “templates” for an imprint or “snapshot” of a
particular period of your life. To re-construct this time period (as a microcosm of that time), you would simply “put back into place” as many of the items as possible from the list of that particular year. Some obvious drawbacks to this is that some of the things on the list that were (and are) part of that macrocosm that DIDN’T SURVIVE into the microcosm. Example: You can’t re-enter high school. Your ex-girlfriend might now be married to somebody else. Some of the people on your list may be dead or moved away. They were part of, and “absorbed” into the macrocosm of that SPECIFIC time period, and just didn’t survive as a part of the microcosm, or exist as a piece of the macrocosm that can be put together like a puzzle to reconstruct a microcosm. So, the bottom line is, do the best you can when you are trying to re-construct your life to a specific year. Research has shown that even if you can’t put the microcosm back exactly as it was, if you come close enough, the macrocosm WILL RECOGNIZE IT AS PART OF ITSELF AND ACCEPT IT. It’s somewhat forgiving if details are missing. This is similar to what we did in EXERCISE #2 (re-creating a room from the past). I cannot prove this, but it is believed by some that by laying such a “template” over your current life, and “putting things back” as closely as possible to the time period you are trying to “connect with” will allow you to INFLUENCE past events, cause yourself to make different decisions in the past, and even “send messages to yourself”, among other things. Let’s take a look at just how this might be done:
SENDING A MESSAGE TO YOURSELF IN THE PAST 1) Follow the instructions for making a visual list of the timeline of your life, recreating as many years as you can and be as accurate as possible. 2) Choose the year that you wish to replicate and re-visit. 3) Put into place everything possible from the list under the year you have chosen. Listen to the same music, read the same magazines, watch the same TV shows, play the same video games and think the same thoughts. 4) Do this for a period 2 weeks. Each night before you go to bed, say to yourself
(FOR EXAMPLE) “This is July 1984”. Each morning when you get up, say “This is July 1984”. 5) After you have spent two weeks re-creating the list and incorporating it into your life to the best of your ability and convincing your mind that it is the time period you are trying to contact (in this case, July 1984), use the technique of “purposeful meditation” (explained earlier in this book) to re-connect with this period of the past by connecting with the silence and nothingness that was, and is exactly the same now as it was back then. Start by sitting silently for a few minutes, and then saying “It is July, 1984”: feel it, do it and BE it. BE THERE. Then, imagining that it is July 1984, meditate thinking nothing else for about 5 minutes. 6) When you have meditated for 5 minutes, thinking nothing and connecting with the time you are trying to contact, say LOUDLY in your mind the message you wish to convey to yourself, over and over. For example, if you had gotten into a car accident with a friend of yours named “Jim” and broken your leg, you could say “DO NOT GET INTO THE CAR WITH JIM, DO NOT GET INTO THE CAR WITH JIM, DO NOT GO WITH JIM, DO NOT GO WITH JIM, AVOID JIM, AVOID JIM” NOTE: before doing this or even attempting it, make SURE that your life was in no way benefited from getting into the car accident and breaking your leg (ie: obviously, you wouldn’t want to avoid the accident if you met and later married the nurse in the hospital who took care of you and had your child)
IN SUMMARY… 1) The passage of time can be defined as: a) The shifting and changing of and the rate of the changing and re-arranging of atoms in the physical universe (in short, CHANGE), and b) Your judgments and evaluations concerning these changes. These two ingredients make up what we think of as TIME. 2) The CLOCK is an arbitrary yardstick of agreed upon “rate of change” pertaining to atoms in the physical universe. 3) Instead of “agreeing with the clock”, the actual physical world and the rate of change of the atoms therein can be used instead to measure time. The benefit of
doing this is that you factor into the equation and your actions can have a causal effect on the passage of time. 4) Since we have no control over the agreed upon rate of passage of THE CLOCK, time would pass for us at a rate that is out of our control if we agree upon it. To actually be in some control of time and be able to affect it, one must instead use the rate of change in one’s macrocosm and microcosm as a reference for passage of time, which has already been defined. In this way, time can be sped up, slowed down, and otherwise controlled. 5) We do have a certain amount of control over the rate of change in the physical universe pertaining to the things directly around us. By controlling the rate of change (and our attitudes towards this change), we can also begin to control time itself. 6) We have absolute control over our judgments and evaluations pertaining to the physical matter we have control over, and control over how we perceive the entire world as well. 7) Time exists in the “macrocosmic” and “microcosmic” sense. That is, “the world as a whole” and “parts of the world” as they are experienced. 8) In the “macrocosmic” sense, the entire world at any given “time” is arranged in a specific manner all over the world, and becomes a “thumbprint” for a particular “time” in history. This “thumbprint” is constantly and swiftly changing. 9) In the “microcosmic” sense, even though the “macrocosm” (in which it is contained and part of) is constantly changing and shifting at a fast rate, there are PARTS of that macrocosm (the microcosm) which can be PREVENTED from changing and/or do not change or change much more slowly than the macrocosm does as a whole. 10) The microcosm (small parts of “that world” which may remain or can be made to remain unchanged) was – and is STILL PART OF THE LARGER part of the macrocosm (the larger world as a whole which changes very rapidly). 11) Since the microcosm was – and still is – a part of the larger totality of the macrocosm, the entire macrocosm CAN STILL BE AFFECTED BY IT no
matter how much “time” has seemingly passed. 12) You can draw closer and closer to a period of time in the past simply by getting in touch with an unchanged macrocosm from which it was – and is still – a part of. 13) You can re-create (re-build, put the atoms “back together” in a sense) a “time capsule”, which is a virtual macrocosm, and can put that directly in touch with the larger macrocosm from which it belongs. 14) You can slow down time by creating and/or preserving an “unchanged microcosm” of time. This preservation of a given microcosm slows down and has a direct effect on the entire current macrocosm, it’s rate of change, and how it evolves (it slows down it’s change as a whole). 15) You can speed up time (in the macrocosmic sense) by accelerating the rate of change in the microcosms. You can and do have a direct effect on the rate at which time passes by using these principals. 16) You can go back in time – to one degree or the next – by attempting to place “things back the way they were” on a microcosmic scale, or find a current microcosm that is unaffected by change. 17) It is easier to move time forward at an accelerated rate than to move back in time. Moving back in time is a slow process and is constantly being slowed further by the natural propensity of the macrocosm to change, the natural progression of change, and our perception of that change, which is time. 18) Any period of time can be gotten in contact with by getting in touch with the silence and nothingness that are and were the spaces and “cracks” in between all thoughts, judgments and evaluations (ingredients necessary for the passage of time). 19) The more change – and perceived change – there is in “the world”, the faster time will move. 20) The less change – and perceived change – there is in “the world”, the slower time will move. Time moves forward at roughly the same rate that there is
change and perception of change. 21) When change – and perceived change – stops, time more or less stops along with it. 22) When microcosmic changes are made in little pockets (the microcosm) of the “whole” world (the macrocosm) that put things “back the way they were” (a restoration of the way something was in the past, and your perception of this), we can begin to “move into the past” including reversing the aging process. 23) By creating a “connection” with a specific time period using a method or combination of methods in this book, one might be able to influence the past and manifest things, situations and events in the present because of it. 24) The closer you can “put things back” the way they were in any given specific year, the more in touch you are with that year, and if a strong enough connection can be made, “messages” may be able to be sent back in time to influence future events, and therefore, present conditions. 25) Manipulating timelines (the way things happen, the manner in which they change), if you are able to pull it off successfully, could have unintended consequences. Use extreme caution, for example, when sending a message to yourself back through time. It can have a “ripple effect” that affects everything else and potentially change the landscape of your current existence. 26) While there is general agreement that time can be manipulated, the past contacted, visited and affected, there is no broad consensus on the exact implications of this, or how these effects fit into the rest of the “known timeline” (that is, whether the current timeline is affected with erased, diminished or very fragmented memories of the way it played out originally being replaced by “new memories” of how it was changed to go down, or whether the old timeline still exists as an “alternate timeline” or parallel universe).
