About the Music Four melodies from Tchaikovsky’s timeless ballet The Nutcracker are set for young string players in this arrangement of March, Waltz of the Flowers, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Russian Dance. These familiar tunes are set entirely in first position so students can concentrate on tone, intonation, accidentals, bow strokes, and style.
