ith obeisance to Late Shri C.S.Patel who was the first to expound on the technique of Pushkar Navamsa in the last century, we start with this experiment. There are many techniques which show the snap shot of one’s life or Essence Of One’s Life, at times what ‘A’ would consider as the Essence of ‘C’s life, would not be the same as what B considers it. At the same time normally any great human being would have minimum 3-4 areas of life or events which events which would later on form the Essence of his life as viewed by outsiders and it might not be similarly viewed by what he considers it. In this experiment we would use Pushkar Navamsa signs on Ones Ascendant Sign and try to find out the Essence of One’s Life. With this article we fulfill a soft promise given to one SJC Guru from Africa few years ago when she had requested us to teach in her forum something new on usage of Pushkar Navamsa due to our close proximity to Patel Saheb. As every word given by a jyotish must be fulfilled though it is practically not possible but the spirit must be there to fulfill every word this article is dedicated to her in love of humanity. The following article provides a brief hint to the young astrologer as to the areas of life which will dominate out and to a clear cut tool to the ‘real’ astute astrologer. The Essence Of Life Technique Note the sign of the Ascendant in any chart, take the sign and note its Pushkar Navamsas, this would be 2 in number. These two signs which are the Pushkar Navamsas of the Asc, super impose it on the Rasi Chart. These two houses will be called Pushkar Houses akin to ‘ A ‘ A Blue (rare) Lotus that blooms in mud’. mud’ . Pushkar House Lords if form ‘strong’ Yogas coupled with right dasas form in giving this Essence of Life out as a glowing Lotus. These two signs signs & the houses it is placed in the Rasi chart will dominate one’s life and/ or The lords of the two signs where the sits, with whom they conjoin or get aspected will spring out the ‘Essence Of One’s Life’.
1. These Pushkar houses would be where maximum mud would be slung to you and where you can finally emerge out as a Beautiful Lotus, this would be the Essence that you take out of your Life. 2. Yogas need to activate at the same time when respective dasas of yoga concerned planets are simultaneously active, this is rare and those who get it are the destined ones. 3. Timing of when a particular yoga will get activated is hugely debated and so far none have is a virgin area for study, dasas activating yogas is an old view and works in practice but not 100 %. Years back when this question was posed by us as to how to find out when yogas will become active, some paramparas came out with a technique which can be marked as theories until it is properly statistically investigated by unbiased scholars. 4. Further areas to be unearthed are Yoga Bhangas of which classics are silent in most cases. These Yoga Bhangas (destruction of promised results of combinations/yogas) are of minimum three types natal and of transit and dasas. Yogas formed out of the Pushkara House Lords is most important and will show the essence of life.
E.g. a good yoga like Gajakeshari Yoga is to be active strongly at the age of 27, 33, 40 but if at that time a bad transit hits the Yoga giving planet like Moon or Jupiter via Sade sati or Ashtham Ashtham Rahu (8th Rahu) or if a functional malefic dasa or yogini dasa is operative then results are delayed or denied and it would not match with the below mentioned technique 5. Readers are requested to practice this over 25 charts of celebrities whose life story is known to them and then practice this over 25 charts of commoners who are 70 years old. 6. Are vedhas or bad transits blocking the results when the yogas of Pushkar houses lords are active in dasas is something to be methodically researched. 7. Observe if at times Pushkar Houses or its Lord is indicating Profession of the native, if so then it can be the easiest tool till date to give a clue on determining profession.

Sagittarius Asc means Libra and Sagi are the Pushkar signs, in Sagi sits Sun the 9L of religion and dharma and higher knowledge, this was the Essence of his Life. Summarizing it you get 6H, 8H which are his Pushkar Houses and 1H, 7H where his Pushkar House Lords are placed forming. For Indira Gandhis Cn Asc, the Pushkara Signs are Cn and Vi, one her Asc itself and other 3H of communications, Vi is the sign of 6 th House of enemies and fights in the natural chart and she was well known to crush brutally her opponents. Anyways quickly see the Pushkara Lords Moon and Mer, one sits in the 7H of public platform and other sits in the 5H of power (Rajyaabhishek) which is what the Essence of Her Life was. For an Indian to study astrology in India he still has to go through a lot of social stigma and most face problems in marriage as spouse do not agree to the science, imagine how much it would be tough for a Westerner who has to fight the religious dogma there in the West against astrology. Thus mud would be slung in that house and she wrote ‘my ‘my mother never accept my love for astrology.....my constant fight, my children, my 1st husband that give me a choise, astrology or him, him, and of course i choose astrology with all the problems later with children and special money problems for a divorced woman... i pay until now a very very high price for Astrology’. The rest is self explanatory like 9H of Sagi signifying higher knowledge which is the Pushkar House is 6 th (dislike) from the 4 th house of mother & 8 th from the 2 nd house placement of Moon (mother). Her mother does not appreciate daughter doing astrology. 1965 onwards her Jupiter dasa started, she was absorbed in astrology full dasa and Jupiter is Pushkar House Lord, this Jupiter is involved in Dharma Karmadhipati Yoga (caused Yoga (caused when 9L and 10L combine) in powerful Kendra Trine House (1H is both). So doing astrology became her Dharma (righteous action) and also Karma, so she made such a big decision of letting go of her husband and not astrology since astrology is her Dharma and Karma. She was the one who successfully predicted Obama’s victory months in advance before even Hilary was not out of the race, this prediction was done in an international magazine. The common Buddha Aditya Yoga Yoga (Sun Mer combo) is found in her chart and is found in many hundreds of chart but this lady is extremely intelligent and hard working, you give her one technique, she would spend the full night and next day she has already superimprovised that technique, so why is this Buddha Aditya Yoga so powerful in her chart since it sits in a ‘Pushkar ‘ Pushkar House of Higher Knowledge Sagi’. You give her an article or Saptarishis Astrology magazine, she removes full print out and takes it in her car, wherever she goes she reads, re-reads and reads, if she is waiting at the doctors she is reading the magazine, and the best part is inspite of so many successful predictions which we have privately observed over the past 5 years she just does not exhibit an iota of ego, such kind of
dedication and egoless state is possible only when benevolence of Gods is there and Gods is 9H which is her Pushkar House.
Observe Asc as Libra, so Ta and Pisces will be the Pushkar Houses, note it is in the 6th and 8th houses. One of them contains Rahu the graha of Rare Astrology and research, he spent so far only 5-7 years in astrology yet teaches in ICAS (Dr Ramans Institute) and has produced some of the finest researches in astrology which have been published in Saptarishis Astrology and SA had the honor of introducing him as an author. This is the power of not just his Rahu but of Rahu sitting in his Pushkar House. Now note the Pushkar House Lords Venus and Jupiter are both conjoined in the 11H of Astrology, so something spectacular should happen when his Jupiter dasa starts, he wrote this ‘ my Jupiter dasha started somewhere during 2005. i started teaching astrology some time during the mid of 2006. i received lots of encouragement from the students as they liked my lectures. During the process i could refine my knowledge in astrology. For Cancer Asc the Pushkar signs are Cancer and Virgo, in Cancer the 9L of Dharma and Higher Knowledge sits and he is Jupiter doubly fortifying it and now twice since it is a Pushkar House, the native is a sanskrit scholar, astrologer and his father was a great astrologer, the native is very dharmic and is into higher forms of mantra shastra and has performed free Yagyas for people worldwide, this is the essence of his life as astrology and occult sciences both dominate his life. His other Pushkar sign of Virgo contains exalted Mercury (accounts) with Rahu (going deeper) and is with 2 nd lord of one’s profession who is Sun, so lets combine Mer, Rahu & Sun, the native works in the Income Tax Dept and he is in accounts (Mer), unearthing things (rahu) in a Govt job (Sun). That sums up the essence of his life Jyotish, Higher Knowledge & Accounts.
Note Gemini Asc, so Ta and Pisces are the two Pushkar houses, Ta is sitting in the 12H of charity containing the 9L of higher knowledge Saturn who is also the 8L of occult, so this charity of knowledge must happen in the form of Jyotish since Jupiter also aspects it by being placed as Pushkar House Lord in the 8H of ‘Gupta ‘ Gupta Shastra’. Shastra’. Now who is Jupiter it is the lord of Pisces (Karma being 10H), so this native contributed in giving in charity some higher Jyotish knowledge. See the Pushkar House Lords, it is Venus sitting in the 12H of spirituality and sex and Jupiter sitting in the 8H of occult, spirituality and Jyotish studies dominate his life, charity of knowledge is the Essence of his life, bringing rare knowledge out is his mission. Now during Venus AD in Vimsottari Dasa: Mars MD/Ven AD: 2007-12-06 - 2009-02-04 He did some major charity work with Jyotish and especially of Bhrighu Astrology (note Venus in Malavya Yoga) and this Venus being involved in a VRY, a major Jyotish Publication was closed down and this native out of no
choice of his own donated some Bhrighu manuscripts and Bhrighu articles to the jyotish world. All this you can see what the Pushkar Venus has done, other VRYs come and go but a Pushkar VRY we should not ignore though it is tough to predict in one sec which particular Venus AD will give the promise of the chart but probably experienced astrologers would be able to. For example what was not mentioned is that Mars aspects this Venus Saturn combo and during Transit Saturn the biggest planet in that combo was aspecting both Saturn and Venus and Mars together. Saturn is called Kaala (Time) and he triggers some say which probably he did right around the age of 36 his natural age. Tr Jupiter was back in his natal position further activating the Yoga & that’s when the Bhrigu knowledge hidden for centuries was revealed. We asked him the stupid question if he practices any mantras he said no, only once he prayed in English to the Sages. When natal yoga planets activate the yoga in transit and dasa of their respective planets runs that’s when Destiny Strikes It Hardest. You see the above transits, age of planets and then see if a Pushkar House Lords dasa/antar dasa is about to start and you predict bang on, remember it is not an easy task to combine all parameters without getting lost.
The reason this line is written since many in the West are sold mantras & now in India they are indirectly sold to gather sishyas (students) & thus indirectly attend courses. Mantras do not guarantee revealing knowledge or success in predictions, clean heart to help others is the only mantra. God or Sages understands all languages and not only Sanskrit, the most Universal Language is feelings it generates vibrations more powerful than anything.

On phone the volunteer was trying to understand how this technique works, so he just mentioned the Asc of his brother, we said what are in Cn & Vi his Pushkar Houses and where are its lords. Note that his Moon the 9L of Bhagya (prosperity) and Pushkar House Lord goes in the 6H of health issues, we asked him if his brother has an health issue or does he deal with health, he replied that his brother has put up a medical shop (chemist) in his native place and is now making Rs 50,000 per month which is a big amount of money. One may note that subconsciously we knew that his brother was into something to do with health since the volunteer has surely mentioned it in the last few years and this is not a prediction). What is to be noted is that Pushkar House Lord has given way to a profession as otherwise 9L in the 6H is termed a not so great combination. His note afterwards via email is My brother started medicine shop on 28 feb 2002 after running a hardware shop 5-6 years. But actually he has rosed monetarily after starting medicine shop. Before that his life was full of low and high not only in monetarily but other aspects also. Once he was in clutch of very very bad habits and my family was very much disturbed due to his bad habits.
He started the shop on 28 th Feb 2002 and his Moon PD started on 10 th Feb 2002 Moon PD: 2002-02-10 - 2002-03-11 The native’s birthdate is 7 th Jan 1960, so on 28th Feb 2002 he has just finished his 42nd year and just started his 43 rd year. 42nd year means 6H as per BCP and there the Pushkar House Lord of Fortune is sitting in the 6H of natural Badha (Block/Obstacles). Thus he had to complete the Badha (Block) and his lagna (self) got risen (7H) in the 43rd year.

my Pushkar houses are Libra and Sagg., the rulers Venus in sagg and Jupt, JU with Sat in Aries transit for the Oct 7 1978 at 8.pm in Geneva Switzerland Sun in Virgo where is my natal Ra, in the 12H of Libra. Moon in Sagg, Ra in Virgo VE in Libra, Ma in Libra, JU in Cancer 11* and Sa in Leo. Then Venus ruler of Libra in Libra, and Jupiter exalted in Cancer. Neela means Blue, then out of Lord Vishnu’s navel cord the Lotus came out on which sits Lord Brahma and also Mahalakshmi Maa the consort of Lord Vishnu sits on a Lotus. It must also be clarified here mentor and this scribe both do not subscribe to over romanticization of techniques which has become the trend these days.
