COURSE DESCRIPTION: Concepts, perspectives, processes, and tools for effective development and management of social development and welfare programs and projects within the contexts of different institution-based, institution-based, community-based, community-based, and/or peoples’ organizations organizations within which social work operates. This is a skill-set that is significant improvements to a social welfare agency and it achieves this through creating new projects, programs, and services, improving how social welfare agency does things and reducing the possible impact of future changes. The course promotes a kind of education that is critical and dialogical as means to professional and transformative leadership leadership t oward social transformation.
GENERAL LEARNING OUTCOMES: 1.
Cognitive Explain the different concepts, perspectives, processes, and tools for effective development and management of social welfare projects in the context of institutions, communities, and/or peoples’ organizations in which social work operates. Discover and analyze the different perspectives on social welfare and social development. Describe the importance and significance of different perspectives on social welfare and development.
