Summary Symptom You must create your own movement types for distributing usage variances of materials (DUV) using transaction CKMDUVMAT. The following problems may occur as a result of incorrect attributes of the new movement types: Symptom 1: When you post the distribution, the system displays the error message M7 096 "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type &". Symptom 2: When you post the distribution, the system creates another inventory document automatically. Symptom 3: The system issues the error message CKMLDUVN 007. Symptom 4: When you try to reverse a DUV document using transaction MBST, only the usage item is reversed and not the inventory difference. Symptom 5: When you post the distribution, the system issues error message KI 280 "Create account &1 for &3 as a cost element in controlling area &2". (This error occurs if you incorrectly defined the same movement types Z12 and Z11 as the follow-on movement types for Z11 and Z12. This note contains the correct assignment of the follow-on movement types.)

Reason and Prerequisites 1: This problem is due to a program error. 2: There are errors in Customizing of the movement types.
Solution 1. Implement the attached corrections from the relevant Support Package if they are not already in your system (see the correction instructions). 2. Edit the view V_158_ALL using transaction transaction SM30. Copy the entry DUVPOST as the new entry CKMDUVMAT and save without making any changes. The new entry is already delivered in the correction instructions with the relevant Support Package. 3. The online documentation provides a basic description of the necessary movement types and how to create them. This documentation is also available in more detail under the following menu path: Materials Management > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Movement Types > Copy, Change Movement Types. Create four new movement types. -

If you do not use Z61 and Z62, these entries can be replaced by 261 and 262 in the follow-on movement types. Set the follow-on movement types. The function code is DUV in each case, except for Z61 and Z62. o

Movement types Z11, Z12, Z61, Z62: Under Update control / WM movement types, set 999 as reference movement type for the Warehouse Management system. Movement types Z11 and Z12: Under Movement Type -> Details, select the "Rev mvmnt type ind" checkbox. Deactivate the "Generate ph.inv.doc" checkbox on the detail screen under Updating control. Movement types Z11, Z12, Z61, Z62: Enter CKMDUVMAT as the allowed transaction for the new movement types (without the attached corrections, you would have had to enter DUVPOST). If you already created the movement types with an earlier Support Package, enter the allowed transaction CKMDUVMAT again with this note or with the relevant Support Package. Otherwise, the system issues the error message again. Movement types Z11 and Z12: Enter MIGO as the allowed transaction. You only need to maintain this entry if you want to reverse documents created by DUV using transaction MIGO (also see below). Without this entry, you can only reverse DUV documents using transaction MBST. Movement types Z11 and Z12: Use transaction SM30 to maintain the view V_156N_VC for the flow types Z11 and Z12 as follows:
