To avoid confusion, standard terms called "nco terms have been derived 1 published by the "nternational Chamber of Commerce %"CC( to ma&e the terms of sale clear and precise. "nco terms provide a set of international rules for the interpretation of the most commonly used trade terms between buyer and seller, in foreign trade. These Terms describe in detail the rights, responsibilities, obligations and costs of the sellers and buyers in international trade, with particular reference to the transportation of goods. Some terms were designed with sea vessels in mind while others were designed to be applicable to all modes. The basic specifics that these terms address are 2.
