procedures can trigger alarms at the WMS. These procedures must be performed according to the following schedules. It is possible to group some of the procedures, which reduces the intervention time. The intervention time indicated corresponds to the intervention time for each item of equipment. Note: In certain environments, these procedures may be required more frequently: •
•
Systems located in high seismic areas may require anchor bolts and mounting hardware to be tightened periodically especially for field installed items. Connectors may require periodic cleaning in dirty and high humidity areas.

System - User Guide, 9YZ-04088-0014-PCZZA. It is also based on the identification and replacement of faulty items of equipment, using the alarms. The process consists of two steps: 1. Locating and identifying the faulty RRH 2X60W through alarms at the WMS. See "Fault management" chapter in Alcatel-Lucent 9353 Wireless Management System User Guide, 9YZ-04088-0014-PCZZA. 2. Replacing the faulty RRH 2X60W following the replacement procedure detailed in this publication.
RRH 2X60W replacement
In the case of the RRH 2X60W, no separate module replacement exists: the whole RRH 2X60W is to be replaced. The procedure is detailed in “Replacing an RRH 2X60W” (p. 8-2). The following table indicates the orderable item (code) for each module or item to be replaced from the RRH 2X60W variants. Table 3-1

Isolating procedures
•
Completion of an on-site intervention
•
Return to service procedure
General personnel safety instructions
The personnel must obey the safety instructions specific to the installation site: •
Rules concerning the premises (see instructions posted on site or in the building)
•
Rules linked to general personnel safety instructions
The personnel working on the cabinet must be authorized to work according to security standards. Equipment safety instructions
The external temperature must be comprised between – 40°C and + 50°C.

An investigation was performed and it was determined that the unit to replace was faulty. The existing unit is locked at the WMS. WMS.
To replace the RRH 2X60W main body with another RRH 2X60W, 2X60W, you ordered one of the following spare parts: –
RRH 2X60-850, 2 X60-850, two antennae pre-integrated cabinet 3JR10601AA
–
RRH 2X60-1900, 2 X60-1900, two antennae pre-integrated cabinet 3JR10801AA
– RRH 2X60-1900A, 2 X60-1900A, four antennae pre-integrated cabinet 3JR39501AA Note: For details, see Table see Table 3-1, “RRH 2X60W orderable items” (p. 3-2) Note: The RRH 2X60W remains supplied with the mains power supply. Note: The RRH 2X60W has an integrated handle that does not detach from the unit once it is installed. Intervention time: •

While the technician is on site, the local configuration data and “TTLNA” data fields are set with the local management terminal. The technician needs to commission the RRH with RMT. The initialization, reset, boot, software download, occur with the WMS. The configuration of the RRH 2X60W with the proper parameter settings are also established through the WMS. Many of the settings, commissioning data, local configuration data, and parameters might not have to be changed at all with the replacement of a faulty unit with a new hardware unit.

European regulatory requirement compliance YProduct conformance statements R.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... A European regulatory requirement compliance N I M I Radio and Telecom Terminal Equipment L E The RRH falls under the requirements of the Radio and Telecom Terminal Equipment R (R&TTE) European directive 1999/5/EC.
P
The R&TTE directive covers requirements in the following areas: •
•
Protection of the Health and Safety of users and all other persons, including objectives with respect to safety requirements contained in the Low Voltage Directive (73/23/EEC) Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection requirements contained in Directive 89/336/EEC. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, it can interfere with radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interferences do not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on. The user is encouraged to correct any interference problems. EMC requirements have been selected to ensure an adequate level of compatibility for apparatus in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. Compatibility levels, however, do not cover extreme cases that can occur in any location, but that have a low probability of occurrence. In particular, they may not cover cases where a source of interference that is producing repeated transient or continuous phenomena is permanently present. This could include, for example, a radar or broadcast site in the near vicinity. In these cases, it may be necessary to limit the source of interference, and/or apply special protection to the interfered part. Note: For operation or maintenance inside Alcatel-Lucent systems, the operator must always wear the antistatic wrist strap to maintain the integrity of the product. Effective use of the Radio spectrum allocated to terrestrial/space radio communication and orbital resources to avoid interference. The routes and standards used to demonstrate compliance with these requirements are outlined in the following paragraphs: – Node B EMC Compliance with essential EMC requirements was demonstrated using E301489-1 & -23. – Node B radio compliance Compliance with the requirements of effective use of the radio spectrum was demonstrated using E301908-1 & -3. – Node B safety Compliance with essential safety requirements was demonstrated using EN60950.
Y R – Node B health protection A Compliance with essential health requirements was demonstrated using E50385. R .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... E L European Union Environmental Directives (EUED) I M The RRH is manufactured according to the following two European Union I Environmental Directives: N A Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), 2002/95/EC R The RoHS directive restricts the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent Y •
chromium, poly-brominated biphenyls (PBB) and poly-brominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in electrical and electronic products. This directive applies to all electrical and electronic products placed on the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) markets after July 1, 2006, with certain exemptions, including an exemption for lead solder in network infrastructure equipment.
•
Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), 2002/96/EC The WEEE directive mandates the necessary treatment of such equipment when it enters end-of-life. It specifically identifies requirements for recycling, reuse, and disposal.
