M.Tech Thesis Integration of Hybrid Wind-Fuel cell System Using Intelligent Techniques Connected to High Voltage Grid
Title Guide
Dr. S.N.Singh, IIT Kanpur
Objective
Modeling, controller design and simulation of solid oxide fuel cell connected to grid through set of power electronics devices to control real and reactive power. Dynamic modeling of doubly-fed induction generator connected to grid to control real and reactive power Design of hybrid wind-fuel cell system connected to high voltage grid using intelligent techniques to achieve four practical objectives simultaneously.
B.Tech Project Title
Analysis of Multi-pulse Converters
Guide
Asst.Prof GVNSS Sharma
Objective
Designed the different multi-pulse AC to DC converters considering both un-controlled and controlled mode in solving the harmonic problem in a three-phase converter system using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The effect of increasing the number of pulses on the performance of AC to DC converters is analyzed. For performance comparison the major factor considered is the total harmonic distortion.
