)nrecorded $ortgages are binding between parties. * +nce a mortgage has been signed in due form, the mortgagee is entitled to its registration as a matter of right. y eecuting the mortgage, the mortgagor is understood to have given his consent to its registration, and he cannot be permitted to revoke it unilaterally. In case of legal mortgages, the persons entitled have no other right than to demand the eecution and the recording of the document in which the mortgage is formalied. E,'ity of Re%emption This is the right of the mortgagor to redeem the mortgaged property after his default in the performance of the conditions of the mortgage but before the sale of the mortgaged property.
