Every year, my family and I always celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri in the village which is situated in Perak. We always arrive a d ay early before the arrival of the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. I will be thrilled every time I wait for the arrival of that day because of this occasion our family will gather with other family members to celebrate this festival together. n the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Aidilfitri, I woke u! early awakened by my mother. After After I finished a bath and !erformed the dawn !rayers, I was getting ready to wear my new ba"u kurung that I recently bought. boug ht. After a while, my !arents went to the mos#ue for Hari Raya !rayers. At the same time, I watch over the house and the kids with other members of the family. After fasting for $% days in Ramadhan, it is time for me to en"oy all kind of food. &y !arents and the maid cook all kind of food the day before Hari Raya Aidilfitri. 'here are ketu!at, rendang, cakes, biscuits and many more that I like to eat. I was eating while waiting for their return. At about noon, my family members from all over the !laces are gathered at my grand!arent(s house celebrating Hari Raya together. I am very ha!!y at that time to meet all of my cousins, !lay and chat with them. We ate together, talk together and laugh together. It(s was so much fun. )or time to time, there are some children coming hari raya at our house. As the lady in this house, I treat them to eat. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is an interesting event because all of t he mistake and hatred are been be en forgives and forget. Each of my family members would a!ologi*e to each other either older or younger includes my family. ne thing that I like the most is my grandmother, my !arents and relative would give me the Hari Raya money. When night comes, we are letting off firecrackers and fireworks. 'he atmos!here filled with the sound of e +!loding fireworks. We all sle!t late that night, chatting with each other. In conclusion, I like to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with my family and the other family members. 'he first day of this festival for every year is a sweet memory for me.
Hari Raya Puasa will be celebrated by the Muslims after one month of fasting. Me and family as a Muslim, Hari Raya Puasa is a special day to celebrate after they have gone through fasting for a month from foods and drinks from Subuh until Maghrib. This festival will be celebrated for a month either. n Malaysia, we can see the Muslims early prepared for the becoming special day. They will be decorating their house, buying new clothes, and making many types of food and cookies for the special day. !e can see that the shopping comple", groceries, and other shop will be crowded by the Muslims as they were preparing to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa. #or me, Hari Raya Puasa is a common thing now because the en$oyment of this raya only feels when was a little boy. take Hari Raya Puasa as a small festive because for now, the important thing for me is to discover a lot of new thing including my study but it doesn%t mean that &m forgetting or not celebrating this festival . !e can only celebrate it as a normal festival.
The night before the special day arrived my family and , as usual a l ot of activities happen same as the other festival. can see my parent and my grandmother will busy making delicious food, while the my little brother were en$oying themselve playing fire crackers with other family members. The house which is located far from the town especially,which is a village, will be decorated with what we called 'pelita% around the house. t has been found that such activities is a legacy. Pelita is made up from bamboo stick actually, but nowadays people had invented a new kind of pelita which is made from plastic that is safe to used.
#urthermore, can see a lot of delicious, variety and mouth watering food when the festival arrived. #or e"ample, the main menu for Muslims is ketupat, lemang, and other food that will make someone have a big intention to eat. There are also delicious hand(made biscuits or cakes. !e will be able to discovered all kinds of food when we go to other people or our family members house. )uring Raya, someone will be able to gain weight drastically due to the i ntake of lots of variety food. Trust me. Moreover, there must be an event that we called an open house that will be held by the Muslims. The event helps to strengthen the relationship between family members after not seeing each other for a long period of time and between Malaysians in order to achieve the * Mala ysia that has been planned by our Prime Minister. also can see people with different kind of races will be visiting their Muslims neighbours house to celebrate together the special day. hope that Malaysian people can maintain that style.
+astly, as can see Muslims celebrate their festival that is Hari Raya with a lot of $oy and colorful day, same goes with other festival. very festival have their own speciality. hope that from the coming years, Hari Raya Puasa will be celebrated more happening as %ve done my $ob as a student. -minn.
