7.3.2. Hartley Oscillator This type of oscillator also uses inductive feedback, but from a tapped coil. The output frequency of this oscillator is given by a similar equation to the one for the Armstrong oscillator. Only the inductance must be modified to include both of the components of the inductance and the mutual inductance, L M (L1 + L z + 2L M ). The pulse method of starting is used for this oscillator.
