INTRODUCCIÓN Una antena es un dispositivo diseñado con el objetivo de emitir o recibir ondas electromagnéticas hacia el espacio libre. Una antena transmisora transforma voltajes en ondas electromagnéticas, y una receptora realiza la función inversa. Existe una gran diversidad de tipos de antenas, dependiendo del uso a que van a ser destinadas. En unos casos deben expandir en lo posible la potencia radiada, es decir, no deben ser directivas (ejemplo: una emisora de radio comercial o una estación base de teléfonos móviles), otras veces deben serlo para canalizar la potencia en una dirección y no interferir a otros servicios (antenas entre estaciones de radioenlaces).
En esta investigación se mencionan cuatro antenas (monopolo, dipolo, yagi y parabólica) de las cuales se brindara información y sobretodo se mostrara cuáles cuále s son sus respectivos patrones de radiación para ellos se hizo uso de un software llamado MMANAGAL_Basic dicho programa está dedicado al análisis de antenas por lo cual cuenta con determinadas funciones que nos permitirán emular nuestras antenas además de que nos facilita el diseño de antenas a partir de parámetros específicos. Parámetros de antenas: Diagrama de radiación o Patrón de radiación Es la representación gráfica de las características de radiación de una antena, en función de la dirección. Lo más habitual es representar la densidad de potencia radiada, aunque también se pueden encontrar diagramas de polarización o de fase. El campo eléctrico, magnético o la densidad de potencia radiada son magnitudes vectoriales que se pueden representar con el módulo o la fase de sus componentes.

radiación podemos definir diagrama copolar aquel que representa la radiación de la antena con la polaridad deseada y contrapolar al diagrama de radiación con polaridad contraria a la que ya tenía. Los parámetros más importantes del diagrama de radiación son: Dirección de apuntamiento: Es la de máxima radiación. Directividad y Ganancia. Lóbulo principal: Es el margen angular en torno a la dirección de máxima radiación. Lóbulos secundarios: Son el resto de máximos relativos, de valor inferior al principal. Ancho de haz: Es el margen angular de direcciones en las que el diagrama de radiación de un haz toma un valor de 3dB por debajo del máximo. Es decir, la dirección en la que la potencia radiada se reduce a la mitad. Relación de lóbulo principal a secundario secu ndario (SLL): Es el cociente en dB entre el valor máximo del lóbulo principal y el valor máximo del lóbulo secundario. Relación delante-atrás (FBR): Es el cociente en dB entre el valor de máxima radiación y el de la misma dirección y sentido opuesto. •

Para hallar el campo de radiación de una antena consideremos primero las características de radiación de un alambre conductor muy corto (comparado con la longitud de onda de operación) y fino, de longitud , por el que circula una corriente con una dependencia armónica con el tiempo: Para determinar el campo electromagnético de un dipolo elemental se siguen los siguientes tres pasos: 1. Determinar el potencial Magnético A de una distribución de corriente J Siendo J una distribución de corriente conocida o supuesta en la antena. 2. Encontrar el campo magnético H a partir de A 3. Encontrar el campo eléctrico a partir de H Este potencial magnético A se debe pasar a coordenadas esféricas. Densidad de Potencia Radiada El vector poynting equivale a la densidad instantánea de potencia que suministra una antena. Esta densidad instantánea de potencia se compone de una parte real (densidad promedio de potencia radiada) y una parte imaginaria (densidad promedio de potencia reactiva). La densidad de potencia radiada es la que efectivamente radia la antena, y corresponde al flujo de potencia que atraviesa una unidad de área esférica, mientras que la reactiva corresponde a aquella que se disipa
