Introduction A customer who only comes into a business transaction with you once is called one-time customers in SAP terminology. Since they come only once, it is not necessary to create a master record (Customer Master) in SAP for this kind of customers. To reduce the database space, you can create a customer master record within the business transaction to store that data. In order to create such a customer, you can have a template customer in SAP to determine all default values required in the customer master. This will ensure less data entry and accuracy at the real customer creation.
One time customer creation (Template customer)
Use Account groups – CPD or CPDA in standard SAP can be used for this purpose. It is same as way as creating any other customer, See below;
Eg: My template one-time customer number is 100005.
Sales Order creation with the one-time customer
In the sales order creation screen (VA01) enter the template one time customer as the sold to party. Eg: Enter sold to as 100005 and press Enter key. System will give a popup to enter real customer name, address, etc
You can fill all required data for that one-time customer within the sales order creation transaction. All default values will flow from the template customer. After you create the customer, you can carry out normal sales order creation steps.
When there is another new customer comes, you follow same steps.
How to find the one time customer data in SAP tables Map the "Address No" field from the VBPA table (VBPA / ADRNR) with the (ADRC / ADDRNUMBER) in the ADRC table to extract required address fields.
