16. Fact and conclusion based question, no syllogisms (3-4 questions ) 17. In a computer system you had to input numbers from 1-300. However the number key “2” was not working. How many numbers can be formed? Ans? Answer : 162 (confirm guys) There are 19 numbers which have ‘2’ in it between 1-99 and similarly between 100-199. There won’t be any numbers between 200-300. Hence, 199-38=161 and ‘300’ so t otal 162.. 200 itself has 2 so total it doesnt count
PL
PLZ L Between 1-99 and 100-199 (19 each so 19*2 =38) between 200-300 (99 wont count, only 300 will=99) so answer is 300-(99+38) 137= 163 Iam getting 163? I am also getting 163. Ans is 162- (1-99:19) (100-199:19)(200-299:100)(300-300:0) 300-19-19-100=162

You will discuss with him about his mistake and suggest to him that he goes and sees a doc(i went with this option as he is a good employee and measures should be taken to improve the situation, talking to the hr or friends i found indirect, if there is a way i can handle a situation directly i would go for that) d. Discuss about his performance in general and warn him( generalisation suddenly why?) You are friends with your boss and a subordinate in office and recently something has happened between both of them and the boss has put up a complaint to the hr. What would you do when the hr calls you over to discuss and talk and get more insight about this issue a. Not attend the hr meeting and avoid it cause you are stuck now. b. RC Questions How to do RC in NMAT EXAM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DP9upBHPCDI
RC1: Legalising gambling in USA . was it about nba(basketball)?? No It was about how states raise funding by legalising gambling, example of Nevada was given. So it should be clear that the RC was related to casino, etc in Las Vegas. CORRECT it was like this REPEATED on 24nov morning Gambling RC repeat (easy) 24rd repeat
Searched a lot for it. Could not find the exact passage. For reference I will post some closely linked passages/articles shortly. http://www.tomorrowsworld.org/magazines/2001/july-august/legalized-gambling-economic-boo m-or-social-bus This is the closest I could find. Hope that helps! RC1 Link: couldn’t find the link online
RC2: Autobiographies are meaningless these days - they should include real life facts (this is the gist of the RC) If you can find online plz check that it should have the mention of “Frey” . what is Frey? ? Frey is a person. Basically the RC starts by explaining how autobiographies are written these days. Then later he goes on to explain how Frey wrote his autobiography by mentioning real life facts (author is praising Frey’s biography).
(Please read till the end and see if the passage was something like this?) Once he had signed with Doubleday, reportedly for an advance of $50,000, the process of editing altered the book now billed as a memoir - further, timelines shifted, characters were erased, segments PL
PLZ L rearranged. "So the idea that nobody at the publishing company knew it was a manipulated manuscript is an absurd idea," he says. "I remember somebody at the publishing company told me that if the book's 85% true there's no problem. Certainly that standard wasn't then applied to it later." (This version of events is disputed by the publishers. Nan Talese, editor-in-chief of A Million Little Pieces and the senior vice president of Doubleday, told Oprah: "A memoir is different from an autobiography. A memoir is an author's remembrance of a certain period in his life. Now, the responsibility, as far as I am concerned, is: does it strike me as valid? Does it strike me as authentic? I mean, I'm sent things all the time and I think they're not real. I don't think they're authentic. I don't think they're good. I don't believe them. In this instance, I absolutely believed what I read.") NO. Searched a lot for it still could not find the exact passages for both RCs in 9 am slot 21 Nov. Where is the passage? Explanation: how a=b=c Consider, a² + b² + c² – ab – bc – ca = 0 Multiply both sides with 2, we get 2( a² + b² + c² – ab – bc – ca) = 0 2a² + 2b² + 2c² – 2ab – 2bc – 2ca = 0 (a² – 2ab + b²) + (b² – 2bc + c²) + (c² – 2ca + a²) = 0 (a –b)² + (b – c)² + (c – a)² = 0 Since the sum of square is zero then each term should be zero (a –b)² = 0, (b – c)² = 0, (c – a)² = 0 (a –b) = 0, (b – c) = 0, (c – a) = 0 a = b, b = c, c = a a = b = c 11. If prize of an article goes up by 15rs, the profit goes up from 15% to 23%. Find original price?
