KINGS CITY When you think of Eilat, you probably think of swimming in the sea o r relaxing by a pool. But did you know that Eilat also has its own amusement park? You don’t have to go abroad to experience adventure and fantasy – you can visit Kings City. Kings City opened in 2006 near Eilat’s north beach. It is one of Eilat’s most popular places of 5
entertainment with many thousands of visitors every year. The rides and at tractions are inside a big building that looks like a king’s palace from the outside. Inside, you have an exper ience that’s out of this world, while you learn about people and life in the time of the Bible. Kings City has four parts. The first is Bible Cave. You see many of the characters and stories from the Bible come to life. You meet people like Noah and Moses and look at pictures and

models of Bible stories. Next is Journey to the Past . Here you see a movie about the Pharaohs. The Pharaohs were the kings of Egypt thousands of years ago. You even see how they made the pyramids. The most amazing part of the park is probably the Cave of Illusions*. This is like a science museum. Inside you experience all kinds of tricks.
