sigma2 300 - 400 - 500 s A fexible olution The Sigma range consists o three power sources (300, 400 and 500 A), reely combinable with our control panels – with or without pulse: Sigma2 300 is supplied as a C or S model and primarily or diptranser welding using solid wires in moderate wall thicknesses. Also suitable or MMA welding applications to meet the customers requirements. Sigma2 400 is supplied as a C or S model and with the possibility o an extra wire eed unit to avoid reconiguration i the welder switches rom one wire to another between welding operations. Sigma2 500 is supplied as a C or S model. A heavy-duty machine accommodating wire diameters o up to 1.6 mm and suitable as a power source or automated applications.

With Sigma Galaxy we introduce IACTM (Intelligent Arc Control); a new, intelligent and adaptive short-arc process that smoothly handles any changes in weld pool, arc length, stickout etc. during welding. The result is a very stable arc with minimum weld spatter and increased welding speed. Root passes are welded automatically through use o the new IAC welding programs and the IGC® unction (Intelligent Gas Control) provides arge-scale gas savings.
