Replacement of MCC
The present status of existing MCC is Transformer 1 & 2 ( NA5 & NA11 ) & bus coupler (NA6) were in on condition and bus coupler (NA10) is in switched off condition. Sr.No

Lay the LV cable to new DB in 11 KV switch gear room from existing MCC and energize the Battery charger for switchgear protection.

Lay the new LV cable from new MCC to pump numbers 3, 4,6,7,8 & 9 and terminate the power cable in the MCC side... Refer drawing number

Lay and terminate 11 KV cable between 11 KV switchgear and transformer number – 3 and terminate the cable at both the end.
5
Reroute the 2 numbers of 11KV cable ( Ring ) from Existing 11 11 KV switchgear to new switchgear and commission the new switchgear switchgear by ENA approved approved contractor by taking PTW..
6
Arrange for the inspection of MCC panel by Kahramaa customer department and install the new KWH meter.
7
Commission the transformer – 3 after checking the protection interlock and energize the MCC pertaining to TX- 3
8
Shift the VFD connection for pump number 4 from existing MCC ( NA12) to new MCC (Q48) by taking PTW
9
Shift the VFD connection for pump number 8 from existing MCC ( NA17) to new MCC (Q49) by taking PTW
10
Shift the VFD connection for pump number 9 from existing MCC ( NA18) to new MCC (Q50) by taking PTW
11
Switch on the bus coupler between Transformer Transformer 2 & 3 (QB2) and energize the bus bar of Transformer – 2 and ensure that QM2 in switched off condition

Switch off bus coupler (QB2) and energize the bus bar pertaining to TX- 2.by switching on QM2

Ensure that Bus coupler ( NA10 ) should be in switched off condition and remove the part of existing MCC ( NA11, NA12, NA13, NA17 & NA18 ) by obtaining PTW.

Install last part of new MCC (Q1 to Q4 ) and complete the installation pertaining to transformer – 1 section
20
Shift the VFD connection for pump number 6 from existing MCC ( NA4) to new MCC (Q23) by taking PTW
21
Shift the VFD connection for pump number 7 from existing MCC ( NA13) to new MCC (Q24) by taking PTW
