Breaking Down the Introduction Part 1 -Read the Introduction and the Forward of the Book. This will set an important mental stage for the rest of the book.

Here I will take some excerpts excerpts from the Introduction by FH Burgess. Let us begin the discussion in this Introduction Introduction part of the book. book. This is an area of study that that most do not embark upon in the study of the Master Key, Key, but I find it to be of great importance. Let's indulge.... The "Master Key" is here given to the world as a means of tapping the great Cosmic Intelligence and attracting from it that which corresponds to the ambitions, and aspirations of  each reader.

The great Cosmic Intelligence... Intelligence... I love it. I used to not be so keen on the words Cosmic or Intelligence. Intelligence. It seemed that that these words were worldly and against God. God. I thought any human faculty must be faulty. faulty. Anything that did not immediately immediately include God by the name God was out of the question. I see that God God is greater than than just a name. name. He made human faculty, faculty, in that human faculty is great. gr eat. Let's dig into the words – shall we?

You see, none of these definitions include God's name. They do however include creation. Yes! I must recognize recognize this creation of God and look into into it further. further. I have found truth here and have have not been taken away away from my faith. I have been strengthened in my faith, as a matter of fact.

I had enrolled in a Christian Christian School a couple years years ago. My Christian basics study study began with a course in Metaphysics. Metaphysics. I was taken taken by that. Isn't metaphysics some Juju that is against Christianity? Hmmm... why am I studying oncology, oncology, cosmology and epistemology? Hmmm... It broadened broadened my manner manner of of thinking. thinking. A Few Discussion Questions: 1. Now, that you see the definition of the word Cosmic... Cosmic... What does Cosmic mean to you? 2. With a better understanding of these definitions, definitions, are you ready to study the Master Master Key in full? 3. Do you understand that you are about to go on a Metaphysical Study? Study?

Every thing and institution we see around us, created by human agency, had first to exist as a thought in some human mind. Thought therefore is constructive. Human thought is the s piritual  power of the cosmos operating through its creature man. "The Master Key" instructs the reader how to use that power, and use it both constructively and creatively. The things and  conditions we desire to become realities we must first create in thought. "Th e Master Key"  explains and guides the process.

It is clear that we will be working with thought. thought. Thinking is something something that we do haphazardly every day. day. It is time for us to have control over this “spiritual power power of the cosmos that that operates operates through us.” It is important to use all that we learn constructively. constructively. Destructive use of the powers that be brings illness to our own lives, not merely the lives of “others.” I created this group, because of the difficulty that many people have finishing this fine study course. course . A short study course that will change your life vastly vastl y, if used properly. I do not mistake the way way things work. Some of you will not see the value in a course course such as this one, because you paid no money money for it. Others will see the value value of this course right away and take take it in all seriousness. For the latter group, prepare prepare for your  world to be changed in away that you've never even dreamed of.

8 of 10 "The Master Key" teaching has hitherto been published in the form of a Correspondence Course of 24 lessons, delivered to students one per week for 24 weeks. The reader, reader, who now receives the whole 24 parts at one on e time, is warned not to attempt to read the book like a novel, but to treat it as a course of study and conscientiously to imbibe the meaning of each part reading and re-reading one part only per week be fore proceeding to the next. Otherwise the later parts will tend to be misunderstood and the reader's time and money will be wasted.

This is a course of study. study. Though you do have have the entire book in in your possession. You will receive a study book after after each discussion is complete in the group. Yes! This is the first study book. You will receive the next study book when we have have exhausted this session. We are unaware of a time that we will be finished finish ed with this course of study. You are in essence my beta beta group! LOL! We will definitely take more than 24 weeks to finish these lessons. We will discuss as well as take the actions within the course of study and practice each day. Yes! For now, now, there are no practices to do. We are merely setting a basis for what you will be learning ahead. Used as thus instructed "The Master Key" will make of the reader a greater, better personality, and equipped with a new power to achieve any worthy personal purpose and a new ability to enjoy life's beauty and wonder. wonder.

We are following the directions that are in the book, and we are taking them a step further. further. It says to take a week to imbibe the meaning of each chapter, chapter, but it does not say that we cannot take more than a week. This book was created as an intense study course for a group group of serious people. This is not to say that we are are not serious. But I do think that that we have more going on in our  society today, today, than there was around the time this study course was manifested. There is a lot of noise in the atmosphere today. today. This truth makes concentration a bit more difficult. I figured, since we are learning to concentrate through the Master Key, Key, then we must overcome our noisy handicap, by taking the extra time to learn to concentrate.
