Marble Arms The Leader in Iron Gun Sights
Contour Front Sights The Marble’s® front sight, with its unique contour, has set the standard since 1900. These magnificent front sights are the number one choice of precision shooters and serious hunters. Marble’s® Contour Front Sights are strong, stable, and give your rifle a true traditional look. Marble’s® Contour Front Sights are available in two widths for ramps or barrels along with various heights from .260 inches to .570 inches. Choose a gold, ivory or fiber optic bead. (Orange or Green)
Uni-Ramp Front Sights Marble’s® has developed a line of uni-ramp front sights that fit all rifles, shotguns, and muzzle loaders that use screw held front sights. The brilliantly glowing fiber optic cables are installed and permanently flared to the sight. Both ends of the optic cable are carefully polished to enhance light transmission and are uniquely protected from UV damage due to long term exposure to sunlight. Each one is precision CNC machined from solid steel to our exact standards. These fine sights are machined, polished, and blued to match your gun. The Marble’s® Uni-Ramp Front Sight is available in fluorescent orange and green in a variety of heights.
Front Sight with Dovetail Ramp Give yourself the extra height needed to match up your front sight with your rear sight along with maintaining the contour of your barrel. Choose the standard bead or a fiber optic front sight to dovetail into the Marble’s® ramp. The ramp screws securely to your barrel with one 6-48 screw that is provided.
Ruger® Style Front Sights These fiber optic front sights replace the standard factory sights for the Ruger® Super Redhawks and Redhawk revolvers. They are machined to match the special hook dovetail for these guns. They give you the high visibility and precision of a fiber optic sight with the strength of our solid steel construction.

Marbles® Rear Sights
Marble Arms The Leader in Iron Gun Sights
Sporting Rear Sights The Marble’s® Sporting Rear Sight is the most recognizable "American Classic" pattern rifle sight. The design dates back to the late 1800s. The Marble’s® sporting rear sight became the preferred factory installed, barrel mounted sight of all the major rifle manufacturers. Fast handling, quick firing vintage rifles made by Winchester, Marlin, Remington, and Savage all had Marble’s® sporting rear sights. We proudly offer the same sporting rear sight as we did 100 years ago. We even still hand-polish each one before it’s blued. Our sporting rear has the unique double step elevator and the reversible U-shaped and V-shaped notch piece for precision sight-in. The overall sight can be moved up and down with the double step elevator-just like the vintage models. The hand painted enamel diamond on the notch piece instantly draws your eye to the sight notch for quick, instinctive shooting. The Marble’s® Sporting Rear Sight™ is available in flat top, semi-buckhorn or full buckhorn style. We still offer the 1-7/8 inch short carbine model and the 2-3/4 inch full rifle model. (Measuring from center of dovetail to front of face.) The authentic Marble’s® Sporting Rear Sight is available in over 20 various heights from .275 inches to .630 inches.

Step Elevator The Step Elevator controls the height adjustment of the rear sights just like the vintage models. Available for 1-7/8 inch and 2-3/4 inch rear sights. The double step design assures sturdiness. Thumb button has been added for easy adjustment.
#95 Folding Sporting Rear This classic Marble’s® Rear Sight has been used on lever action guns since 1906. Similar to our standard sporting rear sight, it also has the ability to be folded down and used with a peep tang sight. Complete with precision windage and elevation adjustment this sight is the perfect partner for the classic sporting rear and Marble’s® Peep Tang Sights. (Designed without elevator.) Windage Adjustment
Folding Leaf Sight Marble’s® has been making folding rear sights for almost 100 years. They flatten on top of a gun barrel to allow the use of a Tang Peep sight or scope without interference. Our Folding Leaf Rear Sight is available as windage adjustable or drift adjustable. This unique feature allows you to precision adjust your sight with a small screwdriver or a hammer. The height adjustable notch piece has both U-shaped and V-shaped centers. You can remove and reverse your notch piece with a small screwdriver. The hand painted enamel diamond draws the eye to the center of the notch for lightening quick sight alignment. Marble’s® Folding Leaf Rear Sights are machined from solid steel and are available in traditional flat-top style. We make these fine sights in four heights from .360 inches to .620 inches.

Shotgun Sight Installation To align the sight to the barrel you may have to slightly chamfer the hole in the barrel or rib. This is done with a larger drill bit. (Using only your fingers to spin the drill to remove a little metal from around the tapped hole.) You want the sight to be finger tight with about an 1/8 of a turn left before it is aligned. Remove the sight and use a drop of Locktite and install the sight. You can use a small wrench to adjust the sight to align with the barrel. If the shank is showing in the bore of the barrel you will have to shorten the shank.

Marble’s® Standard Peep Tang Sight
®
Marble Arms The Leader in Iron Gun Sights
Savage 99 Style
Winchester ‘94 Style
Marlin 336 Style
The Marble’s® Peep Tang Sight is one of the cornerstones of our line. In the days when iron sights were the rule and scopes were the exception, the Peep Tang Sight was considered the top of the line in both precision shooting and general hunting. The increase in speed is due to the way your vision is drawn through the rear sight. You don’t have to acquire a sight picture. You are looking through the rear sight not at the rear sight. Just put the front sight where you want to shoot and squeeze the trigger. It’s the fastest sight combination for Cowboy Action Shooters. Webster Marble advocated a tang mounted peep sight on every hunting gun and called the Peep Tang Sight "the perfect rear sight." Once you use one, you will agree.
Windage Adjustment
Elevation Adjustment
The Marble’s® Peep Tang Sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. The adjustments are micrometer precise. Each firm detent click equals four-tenths of an inch movement at 100 yards.

Marble Arms The Leader in Iron Gun Sights
Marble’s® Improved Peep Tang Sight
Marble’s® has improved the classic peep tang sight to accommodate all shooters regardless of the distance that they shoot. The cowboy shooter and hunter both have asked to have the ability to shoot at 30 yards out to 500 yards and in some cases 1000 yards with the same gun and sight. We have taken our popular Marble’s® Peep Sight that has elevation and windage adjustment and made it more versatile in the field.
The sight base remains mounted to the tang as before and with a twist of the setscrew the post is removed. Select the post height that you want and press the post into place firmly then tighten the setscrew. These highly precision CNC machined parts match up every time for repeatability. The guide stud is machined from 4140 steel and heat treated for strength and hardness. We machined graduation lines on the elevation barrel, which adjusts in .004” increments per click. We have also added a jam nut to lock in your elevation. This gives you the advantage of pre-setting an assortment of uprights to be locked in at desired yardage. We have made this sight to be used by the traditional long-range shooters as an alternate to a Vernier or Soule style sight. You can purchase (separately) additional shorter posts as well as mid and long-range posts, giving you the versatility to shoot many guns out over 1,000 yards. The long-range post has 2 inches of elevation adjustment. All of our sights are machined with the same care and quality that we that has been a tradition for over 110 years.

Marble Arms The Leader in Iron Gun Sights
Installing Marble’s® Tang Sight By Bryce M. Townsley
Installing a tang-mounted peep sight on a rifle is a simple “do it yourself” project for any shooter with a few basic tools. It is best if you clamp the rifle in a cradle or gun vise. Remove the tang screw, making sure that you use a screwdriver with a blade designed for use on firearms that correctly fits the slot in the screw. Do not use a standard screwdriver, as the tapered sides can cause the screwdriver to ride out of the slot and damage the screw and the rifle. Remove any other screws attaching the buttstock and then remove the stock. Place the sight on the tang and install the longer tang screw supplied with the rear sight in the hole and tighten enough to hold the sight, but also to allow it to move when tapped gently with a plastic hammer. Be careful, as some imported rifles use metric threads that are very close to the U.S (English) standard threads used in the United States, but are not interchangeable. The screw can be forced, but it will damage the rifle and the screw. When in doubt, double check everything with a thread pitch gauge and a dial caliper to insure the screw is correct for the thread in the rifle. Never force a screw, it should turn in easily. If it does not, there is a reason. Center the free end of the sight base on the tang by tapping it gently with a plastic hammer or with a hammer and a nylon or brass punch. The human eye is a very good tool to insure that the sight is centered on the tang. Just make sure that the lighting is even on both sides. You can confirm that the sight is centered by measuring on each side from the edge of the tang to the edge of the sight. The depth function on a dial caliper works very well for this. Mark the tang in the exact center of the hole with a center punch by tapping it with a small hammer. Again, the human eye is a very good indicator of center. It is best if one person holds the punch while another checks the center from several angles. Remove the tang screw and remove the sight. Clamp the rifle in a vise with padded jaws and mounted on a drill press. Chuck the proper size drill bit for the screw you will be installing in the drill press. Make sure to match the drill size to both the screw size and the thread pitch. For example, the 10-32 screw used on the majority of rifles will require a #21 drill. Keep in mind that the screw hole you will be threading may be different than the thread used in the existing screw holes in the gun. Make sure that the tang is square and level to the drill and that the drill is lined up exactly with the punch mark in the tang. If the drill table is correctly leveled and the chuck is properly squared to it, you can align the tang using a small level. Level the tang and then index off the receiver with a vertical reading level to make sure the gun is square to the drill. You can drill the gun with a hand held drill if you do not have a drill press, but it’s a poor second choice. It helps to have one person hold the drill while another checks visually from several angles to insure the drill bit is straight and square with the tang. This is the part where you modify the rifle, so check and recheck until there is no doubt it is correct. When you are certain, carefully drill through the tang, using the mark from the center punch as a guide to start the drill. Be sure to apply plenty of cutting oil during the drilling process. Select the correct tap for the screw supplied with the sight and install the tap in a tap handle. Make certain that the tap is square with and centered in the drilled hole and that you have applied plenty of cutting oil. Carefully turn the tap clockwise to cut the new threads. Reverse the tap often to clear the chips. Reapply the oil often. The tap should turn easily and cut cleanly. If it binds or chatters, stop; something is wrong. Do not force it as taps are very brittle and can break easily if misused. After you have the thread cut through the full depth of the hole, remove the tap. Wipe the tang clean of cutting oil and chips. Degrease the threads. Install the butt stock and put the sight in place. Replace the tang screw, but do not tighten. A drop of blue Loctite on the threads of each screw before installing them will help ensure that the screws stay tight. Install the front screw, but do not tighten. Return to the rear tang screw and snug it tight. Then tighten the front sight screw. If the gun has an existing rear sight, use a brass or nylon punch and a small hammer to remove the open sight from its dovetail. Drive it from left to right. Install a Marbles dovetail slot blank by tapping it into place with a brass or nylon punch, right to left, until centered. If you use a brass punch it may leave “tracks” on the metal. Remove this brass smear with copper removing bore solvent on a cotton patch. The front sight may need to be exchanged for one that is that is higher or lower. Drive the existing sight out of the dovetail left to right and drive the new one in right to left. If the front sight or the dovetail slot blank will not start or is a very tight fit, the dovetail may need to be modified slightly. Use a parallel side, three corner, safe file designed for this work. A safe file has only one side that cuts, with the other two being smooth. Make a very light pass with the file and check the fit. Remember, you can’t replace metal after you remove it, so work very slowly and check often. Finish by turning the file at an angle to put a very slight bevel on the edge to help start the sight or dovetail slot blank. The sight is now installed. All that is needed is to zero the gun at the shooting range. Note that there are several screw in apertures shipped with your sight. The smaller the aperture hole, the more precise the sight will be. Smaller apertures are excellent for target shooting or sighing in, the larger apertures work better for hunting. Sighting in is easiest if you start with a large target at relatively close range; 25 yards is excellent. This helps to insure that the bullet impacts are on the target. Fire three shots and measure the distance from the center of the group to the center of the aiming point, both vertically and horizontally. When adjusting the rear sight always move the sight in the direction the bullet impact needs to move on the target. If the bullet is hitting low, move the rear sight up. If the impact is to the left, move the rear sight to the right, etc. The Marbles Tang sight is moved up or down by twisting the knurled vertical section directly under the aiming aperture, clockwise moves the sight and the point of impact up, counterclockwise moves it down. Horizontal or windage adjustments are made by turning the knurled knob on the right side of the sight. Clockwise moves the sight to the right and counter-clockwise moves it left. With both adjustments, one click equals one minute of angle. So, each inch of movement at 25 yards will require four clicks. At one hundred yards, each click will move the point of impact one inch. Once zeroed at 25 yards, move the target to the distance desired for the final zero and repeat the process to fine tune.

iscover a safer, more convenient way to carry .22 ammunition. Brand new to the market, the Catch .22 storage dispenser allows 50 rounds of .22LR cartridges to clip right to your belt or pocket for quick access. The Catch .22 is an easy way to speed-load tubular magazine rifles. Convenient and fun to use, the Catch .22 eliminates the need to juggle flimsy factory cardboard boxes. It prevents contamination from dust or debris that may stick to lubricated bullets and damage the bore of your firearm. The Catch .22 organizes bullets in ten staggered holes containing five bullets each. Detents on the sliding lid allow you to access only the bullets you need while remaining bullets are kept clean and secure. The Catch .22 offers a great alternative for gun owners and parents who are concerned with hunter safety.
“W
hen I was allowed to shoot my dad's .22 rifle at the age of nine years, I underwent a serious program of the dos and don'ts of gun handling. Part of my training involved the proper handling of .22 rimfire ammunition. I was a little disturbed when told to discard and never use any ammo that had been dropped on the ground. Dad explained how .22 ammunition was outside lubricated and the oily residue on the bullets would pick up all kinds of stuff that could be harmful to the bore when it was fired. I was also instructed never to carry bullets loose in my pockets for the same reasons. The Catch .22 keeps the ammo clean and ready to use without worrying about the contamination." – Designer Blackie Collins

Calculating Rear & Front Sight Height Combination
1. Measure the diameter of the barrel at the point of the rear sight upright and at the point of front sight bead (example: 1.00” rear sight and .750” front sight). 2. Divide the diameters by 2 (example: 1.00” /2=.500”). This is the distance from the center line of the barrel to the top of the barrel. 3. Check the rear sight height adjustment chart for the middle adjustment height (example: Large Low #20 sight adjusts from .420” to .520”). So .470” is the mid point. 4. Add the mid point adjustment to the center line distance (example: .470”+.500”=.970”). 5. Subtract the front sight center line figure from the rear sight height (example: .970”-.375”=.595”). 6. You need a combination of front ramp and front sight with the height of .595”. Ramps are measured from the base to the bottom of the dovetails. Front sights are measured from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the bead. 7. You can use a 3/8” traditional front sight ramp (height from dovetail .285 and a 31 MR Marble’s front sight (.312”) which will give you .597”. Distance Between Front & Rear Sights 14”

Front Sight Elevation Correction Chart How to Use Table Above-Suppose a rifle, having a sighting radius of 24” between front sight and receiver sight, shoots 6” high at 100 yards, even with the rear sight adjusted as low as possible. Remove front sight and measure overall height, preferable with a micrometer. This might be .410”, such as a Marble No. 41MR. Reference to columns for 24” and 6” on the table above will show a necessary correction of .400”. This would mean a new, higher front sight (with an overall height of .410” plus .040” for a correction height of .450”) such as a Marble No. 45MR, should be installed. Sighting in should be done with a bench rest or prone with a sand bag or other rest for the rifle. Do not put rifle barrel or forearm directly on solid surface, but put the back of your hand or wrist on the rest and hold forearm of the rifle securely in your hand with approximately the same tightness of grip you would use when shooting at running game. If the firearm or barrel is rested directly on the sand bag or rest, the rifle will shoot higher than when held firmly while shooting at game as more “muzzle flip” will occur.
