Vertical Standards There are five basic sizes of Vertical Standards within range shown in the previous table. Vertical Standards are manufactured from 48.3 mm O.D. tube. These Standards are used in conjunction together to achieve the height of the formwork support by internal spigots which are provided at the top of each Standard to make vertical connections. Verticals incorporate lower fixed cups set 500mm intervals. Captive rotating cups secure up to 4 components. The lowest bottom cup joint is 80mm from the base of the vertical to give the system improved structural strength.

Ledgers M-CUPLOCK Ledgers are used as the main horizontal connecting members for the MCUPLOCK support system. The Ledgers are manufactured from 48.3 mm O.D. tube with forged steel blades ends which locate into bottom cups of the Standards and are locked in place by the corresponding top cups. Ledgers are available in various lengths to provide the desired grid dimension when used with M-CUPLOCK Standards for formwork support.
